New equipment time! Although the M16 rifle is a very effective and mass produced weapon in TUN army, it is time to bring about a new change. That new change is the Steyr AUG. TUN military has contacted Austria who has just started putting these machines into development and has stricken a deal with them where TUN will buy their rifles. The new rifles will be introduced to the military in 2 posts and will be widespread in 6 posts. Don't worry though, the M16 rifle will NOT be replaced as of now, but the Steyr AUG is a test to see how much of the future we can handle. The M60 has started to become very outdated as a tank and has had a need for a replacement. That replacement is the greatest tank the world will ever see in present times; The M1 Abrams. One of the first third-generation main battle tanks alongside West Germany's Leopard 2, the M1 is highly mobile yet heavily armoured and armed with high tech weaponry and equipment. It is fitted with a 120 mm smoothbore gun, and the M68A1 Rifle. The tank is fitted with state-of-the-art computer technology which improves aiming, stability and survivability. The M1 is fitted with an APS system which alters incoming homing missiles. The Abrams is also fitted with many sensors and safety systems which improve combat performance and allow the gunner to easily identify and take out targets. It is also equipped with highly sophisticated Composite armour and weighs a heavy 62 metric tons. To carry that weight, it is noticed for being powered by the AGT1500 multifuel turbine engine, a hard-working engine indeed. This tank with no doubt outclasses all Empire tanks. The M1 will be introduced to the military in 20 posts.
A cure for the disease ripping through Africa has been found. Doctors evaluated and did research on those affected and looked for a cause while medical teams pulled on full body suits and made massive quarantine zones. So far, it seems as if villages and rural parts were affected the most. To dispose of the bodies it had to be done in the utmost caution and in full quarantine. The Vaccine has been mass produced and has been given to many people in West Africa. Reports show that over 2,000 cases were reported and of those 2,000 infected people over 250 had died. Of TUN military, only 60 were affected, yet only 4 died. The disease can be best explained to be contracted by human contact. The troops who were affected carelessly treated patients and disposed of dead bodies without proper protection or awareness. Symptoms include vomiting, intense heat and bowel movements. Best described as the flu, except much more severe. TUN has mass produced the vaccine and has used it extensively on their military.
Due to the extreme focus on the fast-spreading disease which is now under control in West Africa, the military had lost 100% focus on surveillance in Nigeria and thus a huge revolt from the Omni Laham regime has started. They moved through quickly and annexed a large portion of northern Nigeria and have attempted a coup in Lagos although it failed. TUN has sent in 15,000 more troops into Nigeria and has started a counter-attack on the terrorist group. As for Ivory Coast, UN troops were backlashed and killed while being pushed out. The militant group who were supposed to be in agreement with TUN have made a grave mistake, a mistake which will be marked in the history of their fall. With more troops and military might being put into Africa, TUN has begun spreading through Ivory Coast with force. The autocratic government will soon be replaced with a democratic one and freedom to the citizens will be granted.
That disease was Ebola. HMKX is, likely in direct response developing newer tank models, the TO-4. The TO-4 is a model made to compete with any tank, a all-around medium battle tank. Made to explicitly compete with an M1 Abrams, utilizing extensive ERA and Composite Armor, that was made directly in response to the M1's higher caliber. Using Turbine engines as well as a high-caliber gun of 125mm. The Autoloader was made to be fast, although not quite reaching M1 Abrams levels. Essentially, it competes with the M1 quite well and is its equal in many areas, while slightly inferior in others. A decent Gen3 tank, by all measures, if slightly ever so inferior to the M1 Abrams. But that's okay, HMKX'll just make a TON of them and outnumber M1s 2:1 on the battlefield. The show of force, much delayed, was a resounding success. The Supercarriers showed the international community HMKX was not to be messed with. HMXK has now publicly revealed the existence of its 6 Supercarriers.
The UFOS has started researching a new and undevoloped ship Class called the Ghost Class they will be cruisers with the ability to drop of of any submarine or air-force radar(so you would have to be in visual range to see them)We have also moved the location as we fear the HMKX getting these plans
Just don't forget, all technologies are defeated eventually. The moment HMKX realizes UFOS has those, they will find a way to defeat the system.

This is due to the fact a entirely possible all-or-something armor scheme would slow the ship significantly. This ship is a capable antiaircraft fighter as well as a Submarine destroyer. It is also capable of some missile attack in order to fend off long-range attack by destroyers. Friendship/Amistad-Class Battleship 67,000 tons displacement full load A battleship that has more firepower than any before it, with 4 turrets of three 406mm guns, highly modern rangefinders and fire control systems. It has 34.1 knots of speed due to its nuclear-powered nature and the fact its reactors are very powerful and large. Only large ships can host Nuclear Power, which is what makes the ship so big. It has powerful secondary armament with a massive Anti-Aircraft armament of Surface-to-Air missiles as well as extensive antisubmarine warfare methods, although they are not latest HMKX tech to make sure UFOS cannot reverse-engineer it, nothing on this battleship is latest HMKX tech. There exists some anti-ship missiles, but it's not extensive. Most certainly superior to the Iowa-Class and would likely be good for both propaganda and warfare purposes, but it'll be very costly to maintain. Of note, this ship seems to be a "I'm better than you" to the Iowa. The hull's shape as well as the all-or-nothing armor scheme is similar, and it seems to stylistically derive from the Iowa as well. The All-or-Nothing armor scheme, while slightly superior to Iowa's, is still unbalanced for a ship her size and is light, giving it a disadvantage in long-term combat. Due to this, she has improved fire suppression systems. She was definitely not built to kill other battleships, however and it shows. Her armor is very light. Weirdly enough, there should be no good reason for this ship to taunt the Iowa, Iowa is TUN property and this ship is intended to be UFOS property.

HMKX plans to meet UFOS in international waters and hand over control of the ship over to UFOS, but HMKX sailors will sail it all the way to UFOS and promptly travel back to HMKX. Since most UFOS battleships are riverine, they are useless for open-sea combat. UFOS's best ships were made during the 1930s, and that's 40 years ago. Hopefully, these will allow UFOS to project strength. OOC: HMKX has an ulterior motive behind this selling.
