    We weren't debating gay or trans rights, we were debating Finch's desire to label us all homophobes and transphobes for doing something not even remotely related to her gender or sex. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, people in this thread are pro-LGBTQ+.

    That's gone now like but we're still not debating anybody's rights.

  5. Well. This thread is about someone who is leaving the community. This said person has received a lot of criticism and people are now getting angry over it. It has nothing to do with human rights, because nowhere does it say someone is not allowed receive criticism for things that they have done in the past.

To nobody in particular: have you noticed that the last several pages have all been people going back and forth and that simply not posting would essentially stop the supposed hate/disrespect/etc. and have the same effect as staff locking the thread but without having to get staff involved? Of course you have the right to post if you want, but it's something to think about if you really want the conversation to end.
