  12. You realize Chespin that you aren't making any ground with your argument because you are using your emotions to persuade your argument, which is an ill effective way of getting the point across. Speach 101, use logical and fact driven rhetoric to really help your argument.

  16. I'm going to report and unwatch this thread because this is going no where.

    What some of you (on both "sides") seem to forget is that respect needs to be earned, but that goes both ways.

    This is exactly what I meant when I commented about "action = reaction". It is unfair to post something on a public forum and then more or less insist that people don't respond unless they agree with you. That's not how a public discussion works.

    And by posting something in a public forum you're automatically opening yourself up for comments. Both in favor or against. If you can't handle that then don't go there in the first place.

  19. OK. This is enough. Please think before you speak, and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Please just take a deep breath and everyone... calm down. Drama isn't ever a good thing either while it's happening or in the aftermath. Storming this thread with flame wars, hateful remarks, inappropriate language, etc. is just going to make things a lot worse. I know it's tempting to post, but thinking twice, three times, or better yet four times can make the difference in a good way. It's already helped me multiple times on this thread, and I did triple-check before sending this.
