EDIT AND TRUTH: The Momentus Makes EMC special. From what I know we are the only server with these kind of special mobs and mob drops. Many players love them to pieces and they help the economy here as well. So if the Momentus leaves EMC, that brings down other players economy and current Momentus items that are out to other players will rise dramatically. So in full honesty, I don't like this idea

I don't think he's asking for Momentus to be removed. I've interpreted it to say "get rid of Momentus making you quit after you kill him".

If you find one and don't want to fight it just go around it. Do /ps in game and set your difficulty below 5 and as long as you don't hit it it won't attack you.

In that retrospect he's asking to remove death and respawn. xD

I don't think death being removed is a good thing, it would basically defeat the whole purpose of minecraft.

Momentus is a signature feature of EMC and is much loved. I personally find him great fun to fight, and when he spawns it makes me realise I don't waste my time when in the frontier.
Also, as stated a few time before in this thread, put your difficulty on level one and don't aggravate him to start with. Then he will not attack.
