Useful Tool: EMC Shopkeeper

  1. Would there be a way to combine all the payments to show the total from each player? I have over 8k payments and they grow every day, so it takes for ever to merge them. If you get what I am saying.
  2. It should be in your user/home directory and hidden by default.

  3. Thank you jkrmnj. Yes that's right. The folder will be invisible because the name starts with a dot.

    You can also try this:

BE VERY CAREFUL that you type this command EXACTLY as shown. You can't undo it if you make a mistake.

Open the Terminal app, type "rm -r .emc-shopkeeper", and press Enter. That's how you delete a folder in Linux-based systems.
  4. Have you tried clicking the "By Player" button?
  5. I am so far behind, on the versions, Let me update and see :p
  6. Thats only for items, I mean one to group all the payments such as /r pay name 11 payments...
  7. Is there a way to put the database folder somewhere else in the computer my foamin' buddy?

  8. Did you try the Payments tab?
Sorry buddy, it's hard coded. :(

  9. Yes, although that shows every payment, so for example, I have over 50k payments from my one account. In order to show the full amount, I would have to merge them.

What I am suggesting is to show a tab where it shows all the combined payments of one player.

    For example....

    finch_rocks 200
    finch_rocks_2 4500
    finch_rocks 200

and when you click the tab for combined payments, it would show

    finch_rocks 400
    finch_rocks_2 4500

If you get what i mean...
  10. Sorry, there's no way to do that currently.

Also, judging by your example, it sounds like you are downloading transactions from your alts into the same database profile. You should not do this because it will not properly download your transactions properly!

  11. You could probably create a link to the file where it is expected to be and place the actual file somewhere else. How you do this depends on which os you use, but ln is the command on linux and mklink on windows.

  12. My alt's are under different databases. and okay
  13. Just got an idea that sparked in my head foamer. I notice that the shopkeeper doesn't recognize when a player's name changes, but we as humans (and angels like me) can. My suggestion is adding a tool to merge 2 player's transaction history to 1 player. For instance, AlexC__ used to call himself AlexChance. The tool could merge AlexChance's transactions into AlexC__'s transactions.

  14. Good idea, but there is a problem that I can see coming up. Some people have alts, and they use these alts to hold on to names. So the way your idea works, it would merge two accounts worth of data into one. Another thing is that multiple players could have used the same name in the past, and then two completely different people's data would be merged.
  15. If you change your name, then all you have to do is enter a different username into the logon box. EMC Shopkeeper doesn't care what your username is. It only uses it to login.

Again, EMC Shopkeeper just uses the username to login. Otherwise, it doesn't care what your username is.
  16. I think they were talking about someone other than the logged in player. As in, in their client, it shows xx spent with AlexX, and yy spent with AlexY, even though they are the same account.

  17. Oohh, I see. Interesting idea, buddy! Thanks for the explanation, jk! :D

Sounds like it would be difficult, but I added it to the issues list:
