  2. The United Nations has just been disbanded.

However; Sebia & the Equatorial Republic have joined together to form the Pacific Alliance (PA).

This is currently an invite only group.

The PA works around war and combat, but also pushing the boundaries in war technology. PA can be very hostile towards other nations, especially those who get in our way. We're currently looking to make peace terms with other nations (mainly the European Commonwealth) as we wish to expand without concerning others.

  3. The SEAA has finished implementing its new radio broadcast form. All government radio stations now use FM signal instead of AM. This means radio broadcasts now sound clearer and reach further. With the implementation of FM radio in the SEAA, the SEAA sets up the EABC, or East Asian Broadcasting Corporation. The SEAA military is now also using FM.

The SEAA would like to join the UN.
    Scratch that.

  4. The ER is interested in this FM radio technology and is interested in sending high level scientists to the SEAA to get a first hand look at the technology.

  5. The ER is allowed to send it's scientists to the capital of Tokyo, and will be presented with a small FM broadcaster.

The EABC would like to explained it's services outside of the SEAA, and requests to build a station in the ER.

  6. The ER thanks the SEAA for allowing its scientists to visit. The ER will very gladly allow the EABC to expand its service into the ER.

  7. 3 posts left for satellite.
We accept a joint space program with Sebia, and also ask to expand the program to the ER as well.

  8. The SEAA sets up a ferry to go between Japan and the Koreas. A proposed underwater tunnel between the two was considered but not thought to be a practical project at this time.

The SEAA proposes an open treaty.

    The No First Use Treaty

Signers of this treaty will hereby agree to
not use weapons of mass destruction
(Chemical, Bio, Nuclear) unless they are used
on them first, and may only then be used
against the offending country. This treaty
does not ban or limit the possession of such
    weapons, just their use.

    Signatures:
    The SEAA
    New Kalmar
    NES

  9. New Kalmar would also like to send their own high level scientists to the SEAA to see the FM radio in action, and to discuss the possibility of adopting it themselves.

New Kalmar also held their first 'annual summit'; they provided a summary of the changes happening to the country within the next year, the future of TMOS, discussed what organizations should have government funding splashed into them, and received proposals from members of the public, other government parties, among others, on where to take the country over the next few years. A particularly hot topic with the Kalmarian people was the 'rising threat' of the rapidly-expanding Pacific Alliance, formed by ex-European Commonwealth member Sebia and a left-wing government located in Oceania known as the 'Equatorial Republic' who seemingly rig their elections. In response to this, the New Kalmarian Prime Minister has stated that currently, the PA does not represent a threat to New Kalmar or the European Commonwealth, although their every move will be watched - despite this, he also stated that it is something the public do not need to worry themselves about. The last thing he wants is World War III on his hands.

New Kalmar wishes to sign the treaty.

  10. The New Kalmar scientists are invited to Tokyo, and will be given a small FM transmitter.

The EABC would also like to expand it's services to New Kalmar, but unfortunately cannot as it does not have the relay stations in place in China and Russia to be able to connect the stations.

  11. Would Sebia scientists be able to see this technology and if successful, roll it out in China. Sebia would also like to help fund and expand the FM transmitter internationally so it can be used in America, Canada and Australia.

  12. Sebia scientists are allowed to visit Tokyo, and are also given a small FM transmitter. The EABC would like to expand its services to Sebia, would would include one station and a relay station.

  13. The ER has revealed its first rocket design, which has been in secret development for a while. Detailed design is now being completed and construction will start in 12 posts. The first space flight will be in 21 posts. Development of a satellite to be launched by this rocket has also recently begun and will be completed in 18 posts. It will then take 2 posts to construct.

The ER is also constructing a massive communications array using the new radio technology from the SEAA to communicate with this satellite. Construction on the primary array will be completed in 9 posts and construction of minor arrays in other locations in the Pacific Alliance will be completed in 15 posts.

  16. The processor technology has been finished and allows computers from the RoC only to be half size now.

Does this seem a bit too soon to anyone else?

  19. ARPA was made in 1969, so its not as close as I first thought. If other people don't want this to go ahead, I won't allow it until the game hits at least 1967.

  20. My bad. Wrong date x3 I mis-read: "The history of the Internet begins with the development of electronic computers in the 1950s."
