Here is a hint for the 8 pool ball riddle: You do not start with 4 balls on each half of the weigh scale!
Wait, got it. Came back to it today without thinking about it between last night and now. Got it within like 10 seconds. Step 1: Place 3 balls in each side. Step 2: If one side is heavier than the other, go to Case A. If not, go to Case B. Case A: Step 3: Take out the balls. From the three that were heavier, take two and put them on the scale. Step 4: The heavier one is the answer. If neither are heavier, the third ball from that side is the answer. Case B: Step 3: Take out the balls. Place the two that have not been weighed onto the scale. Step 4: The heavier one is the answer.
Thanks, glad you liked it It is one of my favourites, too. If the thread poster has no objections...I have another but this time with chocolate...
Here is my riddle... What freezes but isn't cold? (I'm looking for 1 specific answer) (Btw, I got this from someones profile so if you already know it from there, don't say it )
How about a person playing freeze tag, freeze dance, etc. or a disc that's been scratched one too many times?
Alright, so this is my favorite one: You are in a room with no doors, windows, or exits. The only items are a table and a mirror. How do you escape?
Look in the mirror, then at the wall and back at the mirror to see what you saw. Use the saw to cut the table in half and join the two halves to make a whole. Put the “hole” on the wall and climb out.
