I am surprised by the lack of bids on the auctions, I guess people are either on holiday or have no big projects planned.
Active last month per forum stats appear as 981, we have been sub 1k for a couple of year now, but it has not degraded though. Possibly change in player base going toward more pure survival/wild oriented?
Yeah. Many people value personal autonomy, but the infrastructure towards personal outposts tends to be poorer than when a collective effort is incentivized. On the other hand, those with communities still tend to have authoritarian leadership. I intend to provide a better third way but am not quite ready to announce enough encouraging to step up my recruitment effort.
With the levels of server activity that EMC has had for a couple years now, I'm actually surprised that auctions have gotten attention in general. I'm guessing that there will be a time where no auctions sell anything due to the low player count.

Yep, the garden is mostly landscaped, the cold weather has stopped work for now, should warm up next week, slow progress now though until spring I think.
Another 2 days on the garden project this week, rested yesterday but back is still bad so pain relief it is then.
2 days labouring working in the garden with builder friend, both of us crippled up but good progress was had.
