Here comes another 2"+ rain storm except this time it's a Nor'Easter. I'd really like to know who thought it would be cute to give the style of the storm a North Eastern accent. I guess I could Google that. May 20, 2025

I might just get a ripe tomato before July 4th. I can't wait. Fresh from the garden tomatoes can't be beat.

Learning a lot of fun facts about Llamas today. A reoccurring one is, look out, there are Llamas.

I'm tempted to give the nether another go. I wasn't able to find my shulker in the lava after my last visit because I waited too long but I'm ready for that now. Also I was told hoglins are afraid of the blue mushrooms. That would have been good to know before.

I think you have to plant the mushroom close next to you and they will run away. Pick up and repeat. I do know just holding it won't do anything.. at least it didn't for me. Have fun!! =D

That's it! I am done with the nether! A hoglin pushed me in to a lava lake causing me to lose everything including a shulker full of elytra and misc tools. All I wanted was a couple stacks of shroomlights.

I didn't know that about items not burning. Is there a log I can refer to for the coords of my death? It was my second to last death yesterday.

Katy, thank you for your suggestion. I actually started doing that yesterday. I think the nether is more dangerous than tbe end.

You can check deaths with /dlog, it will provide you with the coordinates for the locations, just make sure to know which one it was.

Are you going with the Valenciana, de marisco or mixta variety? ๐Ÿ‘€

To be honest I never knew there were different varieties. I had to look them all up. If I understand correctly I prepared a mixta paella, containing chicken, peppers, green beans and shrimp with all of the saffron seasonings. It wasn't soupy and the rice had caramelized on the bottom after I baked it.

After reading a thread I have a goal in mind, start depleting resources in the waste. I'm a great resource collector. My 1000+ DC storage area is a monument to that.

This part of Spring is my favorite. Plenty of rain so the lawn is wicked green and all the trees are various shades of green as they start to leaf out.

I woke up last night at 2 am because of the strangest thunder I've ever heard. It was rolling for about 2 minutes, I thought the world was coming to an end.

I'm thinking of the nerves of steel the person controlling the Mars helicopter must have. I've flown drones and 9 times out of 10 it landed upside down. It isn't easy to get to Mars to stand the drone back up.

Here's a good question for the worldwide community. Are ticks just a North American insect? I get at least 10 crawling on me every day and they seem to be getting more numerous each year.

Ewww, 10 a day?!?! I'd freak out. I've never gotten a tick, even when living in NJ or when camping outside. I did thorough checks everyday but never found one. I'm so glad.

I just found another one. :( I do freak out, they are worse than mosquitoes because they are silent and just crawl around. 607, you are very lucky to not have any. I spend most of my time outside and I have been clearing brush to reduce the little rodents that like to eat my garden plants so that is why I get so many.

TopG just had me select the space shuttle as being an airplane. I'm fairly certain it was not an airplane.

I'm a farmer in real life.

I took the picture below in 2020. People enjoy sunflowers so I grow as many as possible each year.

That's the upper part of my field and my house in the background.
