Sunny with light spells throughout the day. As we move into the evening, expect mild thunderstorms and a chance of portals that lead to desolate hellscapes opening up all over England.
Iāve just seen the Iām A Gummy Bear music video, and... nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I cried, I fist-pumped the air. Itās absolutely everything you hoped it was gonna be. Iām so proud of it, and I canāt wait for you to see it.
Iāve just seen the girl I likeās selfie, and... nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I cried, I fist-pumped the air. Itās absolutely everything you hoped it was gonna be. Iām so proud of it, and I canāt wait for you to see it.
Iāve just seen Theresa Mayās verbal takedown against Boris Johnson, and... nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I cried, I fist-pumped the air. Itās absolutely everything you hoped it was gonna be. Iām so proud she did it, and I canāt wait for you to see it.
If she'd behaved more like this and not been so utterly vapid during her time as PM she might still hold that position.
Sheās a great MP. The same thing happened with Jeremy Corbyn - both did well voteshare wise in 2017, if they left their party or were kicked out theyād be able to get re-elected as independents in their constituency because theyāre that popular, and they campaign for their causes well as backbenchers
both are also, apparently, rebellious against party factions/internal parties that they believe have hijacked their party (Corbyn vs. Blair, May vs. Johnson). But also both incredibly bad at leadership lmao. At least Corbyn had a personality though and wasnāt memed on for being a robot
My facial hair is turning into beard and is spreading down my neck + over my cheeks. Is it time to hang up the vans and skinny jeans and to start dressing in boots, normal jeans, flannels and work jackets? š
I suffer from the same fate, sometimes I'll do it in the morning and then the same evening I'll already look ridiculous. :/
I shave and my beard grows back in a week or 2 I swear it isn't normal. I always dress in black everything and a green flannel, I look like a fat lumberjack.
I hate summer. 30 degree days with humidity through the roof and to top it off, we donāt have nighttime up here so itās always bright outside and it screws with your sleep cycle š„°
30 degrees sucks (it's that hot here too sadly) but I'm happy that it gets dark late, more light is more yay
We donāt even have darkness here, itās more like sunset where it gets black in most of the sky but you can always see the sun on the horizon. Sunset ends at 22:30, sunrise begins at around 3:40. It gets pretty blegh when youāre trying to sleep but the light starts to shine through and the birds in the woods out the back of your house start tweeting.
Woah, I'd hate that. (the sun being down for such a short time) When we were in England last summer I suffered a little from the time difference, but I quickly adapted to it and went to bed early so it would be fine if I woke up at 7 or earlier. But we were low down, so the nights were long.
Going to the beach today. This is the first time Iāve been properly out since lockdown began in March lol
a second wave would be nothing bro I hit at least 10 when I go surfing, what are you complaining about two for bro
Yesterday I got shown a picture of my dad when he was 28, the exact day he found out my mum was pregnant with me. Turns out me @ 20 years of age is just a skinnier + beardless version of him
Just had my first McDonaldās since they closed down in March and damn a Big Mac and fries has never tasted this good
50k papers A4 sized just to force vote of no confidence against gov which is gonna backfire. truly worth the euro munnies /s
actually its confidence vote. fyi eesti allows spamming 50k+ amendments and skip it all by turning bill into confidence vote
Hoeād up my dadās grave earlier. Should be ready to get turfed over in a few days if the weather stays alright.
also yes this is a job for the groundskeepers, however theyāre rubbish at their jobs and managed to screw up the placement of the top soil we asked for and then decided to walk all over the grave and leave their footprints all over it - wonāt go down that route again
Sigh. There are always good people and bad people at their jobs, but it amazes me that given the task at hand they wouldn't try to have some extra special care to do the job right.
My mum was wondering where my dadās childhood dogās ashes were the other day. She found a ceramic jar in a flower pot a few days later and there was a plastic bag of brown gravel inside. She came inside and asked my brother and sister if they thought they were the dogās ashes (#1
My sister jokingly said āDad, if theyāre your dogās ashes, knock the jar out of mumās hand.ā 5 seconds later, the lid fell off the jar and my mum caught it, but it bounced off her hand and smashed on the floor. I came downstairs and could confirm that they were, in fact, the dogās ashes (I was with him when he dug up the jar when we moved house in 2015).
Just a funny coincidence. The lid was loose-fitting anyway and was thus obviously prone to falling off. My mum has never been able to catch things. I think itās just a funny coincidence and they all think itās some kind of sign... and Iām genuinely just happy - and envious - theyāve got something like that to believe.
every night I beg for the sweet release of death by mortal kombat fatality when I wake up and god disappoints me every morning
If you search mine there's 1 guy among 40 people in the list. Poke me a PM if this caught your curiosity šŗ
