Residence Update Log! The latest changes in the Empire Town!

Coming soon on SMP6 a new shop... Not competing with AnonReturns of course. But soon at /v +sonic you can get all sorts of items, Starting out I will be selling food for miners... I will have an outpost out in Wild, probably east.. I will let everyone know whats going on tho! This will be the main shop for everyone to see and shop at.. Please come see me!

Ha ha, not anytime soon. The problem is; I'm pretty sure that the moment I turn the firespread flag off the lava will soon incinerate those bookshelves you see there. I am planning to try that out on my Utopia residence though, but first I need some more lava and bookshelves

SO I went from white, to gold to my current color: blue (at the time of writing anyway). And we all know what that means, right?

Exactly! 1300r daily sign-in bonus, automatically collected, so effectively getting you 1300 x 31 = 40,300r. And you can't even go derelict

Oh wait, wrong post Sorry, what I meant to write was: instead of one or two residences a diamond supporter has 4 at his/her disposal. I didn't have to think hard which ones to claim, so now I'm the proud owner of my own 'vacation residence' on SMP5 (my 2nd favorite server).

I ended up in a funny mood and decided that this called for a wee bit of trolling

I got a road going through my residence, oh dear....

The last line obviously doesn't contain any 'weird' language. Well, actually it does (that "scrolling" or "hidden" stuff) but all it says is: "what a joke". When looking at this again I concluded that the last line was out of place as it could be picked up to be something else. Things need to remain funny; so now the last line simply says my name.

I'm planning on adding lots more of these small jokes and wee trolls on my residence

I'm really excited because today I finally set up something which took me months to prepare for in the past... Some time ago I won an auction for 2 nether stars. And as you probably know: that's the main ingredient to make beacons. And beacons are cool

So without further ado, take a look at this coolness:

So the thing which you're not seeing here is my cool beacon. Doesn't it look awesome? It doesn't? Oh ok, let me get you guys another screenshot then:

Gravel floor, stone walls and cobble roof. All surrounding the metal pyramid...

As you can see I did leave some extra room for an extra pyramid layer because I really want my secondary power too. But yeah; I'm putting a serious dent in my iron collection so that will have to wait for now. Good things come to he who waits...

Of course this new underground room (notice the void fog?) did leave me with a major problem. Where was I going to place this on my "RTS map"? The trouble a beacon can cause... So I ended up re-shuffling my entire teleport map to keep some logic into it.

Last but not least...

Ever since I had my animals in underground pens on my farm was I wondering about an option to get them an area above ground as well. Unfortunately my residence is getting filled up, but the good news is that I managed to get another residence besides my own one.

So that called for some in-between editing. Now, I know what you're gonna say: this is obviously not going to work because animals can't leave your residence. True. But although I would have liked it more if they could (in this case anyway) I also do a lot of roleplay on my builds. So with that in mind this fitted in just nicely:

The first time I bribed senior staff to help me out, and an extra thanks to Bigdavie for the very speedy help he gave me!

And although my animals cannot really walk from their pen to ground level (actually, they can. but will eventually get tp'd back) it does give me an indication of which animals I could move to my 2nd residence (actually 4th res. but who's counting..).

So yah... Cool stuff happening. All I need now is to finish my above ground animal pens, and then its time to add more cool things to my garden residence...

What comes around, goes around

Today I've voted for the Empire one hundred times and what do you know? I am now an certified Empire player. Obviously something I'm showing off; ready for everyone to see:

Luckily I put up the right voucher, would have been silly if I had put a vault voucher up there

Of course that's not all I got. But if I share my 6 diamonds, vault and stable voucher together with my small rupee donation (65,750r) then you may be getting the wrong idea

Once again proof that the Empire is evil

You see; up until now I have rarely played for rupees because I got plenty to keep me happy. But now that I'm really close to having 100k (98,973) I guess I will have to change that a little

So another update. It almost feels a bit like spamming to me but then again; you guys kept "spamming" us players with requests for updates so I'd say we're even (naah, but honestly; I know I sometimes tend to overdo things I like).

Seriously: there is a good reason for this post: I can finally give credit where credits due. That's important to me!

So after I finishing setting up my surroundings to those I had grown accustomed to it was time to move on. Get a feel for the thing and expand on that which I had. I had a forge (see previous post) so what else could be interesting to get automated?

I didn't have to search hard: a brewing contraption!

So I searched on Youtube and what do you know.. It took me a while to rebuild but yah:

I suppose "contraption" is a better word. There's still one bug I need to sort out, but normally I'd select the ingredients from the panel you see here, then flip the switch on the left and it'll start brewing the stuff.

The best contraption to brew some illegal contraband when the staff isn't watching.

Errr... I meant: legal contraband of course.

Now, some of you may see similarities; yes, I was slow to catch up. Now I can finally give proper credits for the guy who constructed all this.

After searching for a brewing contraption I came across this youtube video, which explains how to build the above in perfect detail. In fact; the forge which I mentioned elsewhere is also build by the very same youtubber. Just watch here.

As such it's only fair that I send a warm thank you towards Tango Tek for sharing all those wonderful designs with us.
