The community disagrees... Wild takes you to frontier for legacy reasons. commands are not really as recommend now. The "Wild" is in the Frontier AND wastelands, its just 2 different groupings. see this for most details: http://empireminecraft.com/threads/poll-the-new-wastelands-name.22231/
I thought I remembered something about the wild being reset when the dragon tomb update comes out, or something like that.
,So this has probably already been talked about but are the portals from town the only way to reach the wastelands. I am deep in the wilderness already and want to reach the wastelands but don’t want to go all the way back to town. If not, admins, are there maybe plans for something like a wastelands portal in the future?
....why not just go to wastelands on another server? i doubt you will ever be able to tp out of wilderness
only way it would even be possible to tp to the wastelands from the wild is if you was within 3000 ~ blocks of spawn anyways.... the wastelands world is limited in size
wastelands rock! I got 8 diamonds in 10 min and a stck of iron! there was no cheats either (because im to dumb to know how to get)THX A TON
Yeah... *sigh* Already, the quartz from the Nether has been severely demolished... Pas bien... Pas bien...
Of course! That happened to Wither Skulls, Emeralds, Diamonds, etc... IMO, we should cut off on the resets. Maybe completely reset the Frontier on all servers (except utopia, it's pretty clean) when 1.6 comes out, so we can have a fresh start, and THEN never reset again. In a nutshell, I just said we should reset once more for 1.6.
After spending barely 5 minutes mining nether quartz...and receiving almost 5 stacks of it. (Fortune III for the win.) I have to agree with everyone when they say the value of it is going to drop a bit....
Is the /wild command supposed to be limited to town? Because I was out in what is now the Frontier, and /wild sent me to one of the outposts (it seemed to cycle between them). I was a little bit surprised. Unless there was a change announcing this that I missed.
