  1. One seriously cool car to use in a rally... the Ferrari 308!

These sound amazing, so load and so different a tone to a normal rally car because of the larger engines!

Front right wheel scooting off the ground here, sheer quattro power... ;)

  2. Shell Oils Opel Manta tackling the course!

The 205 T16 is such a monster compared to its standard form!

  3. Quite possibly one of the rarest versions of rally car there, the Ford Escort RS1700T. Only 18 of these were built in the 80s before Ford decided to scrap the plans and make the RS200 instead because they needed four-wheel drive to compete with the likes of the quattro. It's likely that only a handful of the 18 remain as well given they were only prototypes and they were used for lots of testing and then sent off for rallying in Africa. I have seen one RS1700T at various shows before, but this particular one is different and actually took to the track!

One of the smaller but still mighty four wheel drive rally cars of the Group B era, the MG Metro 6R4! These sound brutal, such a great sound from such a tiny car!

  4. You don't need a T16 and a big wing to have an awesome Peugeot 205 rally car!

In fact, you could even look awesome in a Fiat around the track ;) This Fiat Cinquecento was absolutely awesome, great to see something similar to what I drive being used as a proper rally car!

  5. A couple of rally cars you don't tend to see so much - firstly a mk2 Vauxhall Astra GTE...

And this Mercedes saloon! I am not the biggest fan of Mercedes, but these old saloons are pretty cool!
  6. Awesome looking Ford RS200!

The Renault 5 Maxi Turbo is an absolutely awesome looking hatchback, completely bosses the track!

  7. I think this has happened before with a Peugeot 205 at least year's event? Going around...

Then suddenly, comes around with pieces missing! ;)

  8. The RX-7 we saw a couple of years back at this event was out again, awesome sound car with its rotary engine!

Another Sport quattro just chilling outside the Rallying with Group B tent!

  9. A true rally classic, the mk1 Escort in the foreground, but behind we see something I've never seen before but something that really demonstrated well on track - the Proton Iriz R5!

The Hillman Avenger is quite an obscure classic, I love the look, and seeing one as a rally car is awesome!

  10. Hi everyone, a little bit of a change here on Fendy Photography, instead of going the current way I'm going to post the main album with a picture or two and let people have free reign over looking at pictures within the Facebook albums now - it'll save the pictures disappearing after a while like they do on here and it'll save there being so many posts, but as usual if anyone wants to know anything do just fire away questions, the more the merrier :D

Starting off with the first Castle Combe event of this year that I attended, Spring Action Day! Full Facebook photo album available via this link: https://www.facebook.com/fendysphotos/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1683776131716424

Some brilliant cars to crack off the first event, with some quite poor action on track mind you - plenty of red flagged action sessions. One person was unlucky enough to have one of the most spectacular crashes there in a long time, in a one of two in this colour special edition tuned Subaru Impreza...

Aside from that there was still great action, great cars, great company and great fun, so do go to the album and enjoy the photos! :)

  11. They're disappearing? Hm, that's strange and unfortunate.
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to check out the Facebook albums, I mostly enjoy this because of being a part of EMC, and being a regulated dose of two pictures per post. :)

  12. It is indeed strange, I go back a few pages on the thread and I can't see any of the pictures, just the writing! I can only assume it is the same for everyone else? Do you see them?

I may start up doing the two pictures a post again if I can figure out why. If not then I may have to look at other ways of uploading, though I always liked doing it on Facebook because it's an easy central way of me being able to share my page with my photos on it without having to go external!

  13. Yes, I see now. I guess you're copying them via Facebook, right? Not that that on itself explains it... but just to make sure I'm right on that.

  14. Yes, I am copying the images straight from Facebook now - it's easy for me because I can share the page easily to anyone and they can see all my photos there. I'm not sure why they disappear, there may be some sort of time limit on Facebook images, but then they are still always on the Facebook page so I don't see why that would make sense, though I can't see it being to do with EMC's end either!
