My answer isn't in the poll, so I'll just post here: What Do You Consider Rich On EMC When people can have a great time whenever they hop onto the Empire. Or in other words: Having enough rupees to buy stuff? Awesome. Having friends (or other ways) so you always (?) have a really good time? Priceless!
I managed to make 10 mill in a few months l so I will say around 15 mill is a good amount, as making rupees is pretty easy. Being rich is all based on perspective and it doesn't really matter how many rupees you have.
I think it's around 10-15 million if I answer the question you're actually ascing. That's around about the amount that says "I am trying to get a lot of ruppees, and I am able to do so" The reason I think that is becuase the time I hit that amount (I those days alredey co-owned everything with Tomvanwijnen) or, we calculated that that was around about the worth of what we had, I first really felt rich in terms of ruppees myself, well, of the days the promo market was actually a thing... I also remember the days someone made a giveaway of 40Kr, and it was the biggest amount of ruppees to be ever given away. I (of course) also felt rich, but I don't know how much ruppees that would have been today, I think it isn't even translateble... But, when I stop answering the question the way it's intended, I kind of argee with Shelly, Then you're rich in terms of ruppees as soon as you have enough ruppees to buy what you need (for a project) leaving enough ruppees to buy what you might need in the furure. And that with friends? Nah... That isn't ruppee based, and that's what is asked
I think net worth isn't really something we can determine. The thing is: I've got quite some promos that get sold for a whole lot nowadays. But if I'd try to sell all of them at once, I probably wouldn't get to 75 million, because there would be too much supply. I was going to type some more, but it's late, I should go to bed, and this might not make sense anyway. I haven't ever seen it.
Rupees are not being rich. Rich can be different to everyone, and does not always have to be defined by Rupees. Rich can be in Promos, or in builds, or even reses, what ever someone most values. Someone who values builds over funds is what is rich to them. Funds is not all that... Sure you have funds, but you dont have a build you like, or an item you like... Dont always think rupees is all that. Take this for example, On GTA V online, I prefer to have apartments full of cars over 1 apartment with a few cars and a ton of funds. Its what people prefer more is what is rich to them, and that's alright to me. So to me, Rich is in build's.
I consider 200k to be rich, as I don't even have enough to afford an iron supporter voucher (which I am saving up for) But like carbon said
While there is some truth to "subjective" in the end this is more along the lines of the "when you have enough to burn" is more realistic. I would suggest God_of_Gods is rich based on a number I saw but selected 75 million. I think in general terms, based on the ability to buy the best promos and properties i would say that 10 million is likely rich. ....but keeping in mind, prices will always change, inflation in EMC is still happening and selling does not always net assumed value. So if you have 10 million rupees, that is a bit more powerful than saying my collection is worth 10 million rupees. Of course, hedging against inflation concerns, most promos will help with that but still only hold a perceived value until sold.
"Rich" I don't even know the meaning. I like living in a dirt hole and killing mobs with my wooden sword. Though if I thought about it. Rich to me would be having God gear on every smp, 6 residences (on one account), and an Original Dragon Egg.
I personally like to transfer all my worth into items (mostly promos, but also regular items). I believe that promos generally (excluding rare exceptions) tend to increase in price (or with inflation) like a savings account. Rupees in your /r don't gradually get more with inflation, they stay the same, like regular cash in that old sock under your bed. For this reason (and perhaps some other reasons too) I generally don't go above 300k, maybe 400k rupees, before I splurge it all on auctions and people selling stuff again. This weekend I was down to under 10,000 rupees. Luckily I do have my slave friend that I share all rupees and items with to send over some more rupees. Reaching a sub-10,000 rupees count is not rare for me. Usually those spent rupees will have gone to my promo and item storage, to be locked up there for perhaps many years. Anyways, what do I consider to be rich... Well, of course, I consider anyone who has fun to be rich. Having fun (without harming others, of course) is the most important thing. But that not what the intent of the starter of this thread was. I'd say over 250k is getting there, over 1 mil is moderately rich, over 10 mil is really rich, and over 50 mil is extremely rich. But, no matter the amount of rupees and items, whether you own just 10k worth of stuff, or 100 million, it's respect to others that's most important, and one doesn't need rupees to "buy" that.
The real annual, no limit, stuff is a little more rough to control values on. Things with dates tend to carry the most value. Things with very limited time available and 1 per year max would be next. Things that can't be purchased in the EMC Shop annually as well. The real issue is that the price does not change in the shop each year even if there is rupee inflation. ...and while I get the idea of builds, promos and everything, though its a game trade is still really based on the barter of rupees in EMC, so that is the net worth and determination for in game "rich" or not. No doubt they need accounted for as a spawn res = x million alone, a large guild consisting of a ton of diamond, gold and nether crystal is worth a ton. It all does convert back to the rupee though when translating to a common denominator.
