What is your favorite band that you think no one would know?

  1. Link? I've found a couple of bands named eden, and I'm curious.

  2. I saw some pretty awesome bands that day, PTV were awesome, the mosh pits were epic!

I also saw Babymetal, Fidlar, Royal Blood and Bring Me The Horizon that day c:
  3. Just look up EDEN MCMXCV or The Eden Project. Same band just the name has changed

  4. Bring Me The Horizon <3 I never would've guessed you as the rock/screaming type
  5. I absolutely love top, such a unique band!

  6. Wolfne likes this.
  7. Love the name XD
  8. You're thinking these are young people aren't you. How about Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
  9. Well, I like CaravanPlace and suicidesheep, along with FunkyPanda. I don't know if these count as bands, but they still are great.
  10. You mean Caravan Palace?
  11. For me it would be several. The Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag and The Smiths. Of course I have a very eclectic taste in music so I would also have to add Sixpence None the Richer, Iron Maiden, Toto, Styxx, Rush, Queen and Deep Purple. Of course I am older and with the exception of Deep Purple have seen all of these bands live. There are many more I could name but you young kids would have to spend a lot of time on YouTube to find them all. For a younger band that I have yet to see I would have to say Tokio Hotel.
    KingGeorge4th and Lomax70 like this.
  12. If you like Weird Al you should check out Ray Stevens.
  13. I love Relient K!!!!
  14. I can enjoy songs with words, as long as they are used as a sampled instrument of sorts, and aren't actual lyrics.
  15. I saw them at Reading Festival last year! They're amazing live, great audience participation (Envouraging Walls of Death :p ) :3

  16. Whew, I spent over 4hrs going through this thread and copy/pasted every band name into a word document, and then sorted alphabetically for easy reference. My hope is that maybe we could keep the list up to date as time goes on, so that it is not as hard to know if someone has already mentioned that band before. Even though I feel as I probably should know a good bit of the bands listed due to my age, my taste in music that leans more towards contemporary Christian bands surely impacts my overall knowledge on this. I will type the bands I know of in a red font, since one of my favorite bands is actually Red that was already mentioned by C0ldZer0. I also find it interesting that they like Zer0 too :)

I suppose I will make it a patriotic like post and list the bands that I am suggesting in blue font in the list. I often listen to christianrock.net online, and heard a song the other day (1-2 weeks ago) that really seemed out of place. The song was “Just Give Up” by Nyves. I personally had never heard of this band / group and thought it odd that this flavor of music was on a rock station. After digging further, I found that the Lead Singer for Demon Hunter has actually started this in the past few years as a side project with a member of Project 86. I actually like the first song “Return” on the album the most, but it was neat to find some 80’s like electronica kind of music that was fresh. Here is a link to this album - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGrE6lOOjJA&list=PL9xHLEyboXqmk2KWrceFTXKSn3X24lBUM

Okay, I will now list some other bands that I like that I feel may be unknown to most.

    Under Midnight - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEzHphCm4-U&list=PL8ouLgcI7hvSjbco-XcnUj7SI4yoxzN8R
And another one that I heard on either Christianrock.net or theblast.fm is a more recent band that I have yet to explore all of their songs / albums, but this one song was definitely memorable.
    The Showdown - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStNYq0swXY
