Empire Minecraft 1.9.4 Update

  1. It's super small. You have to be like 2-3 blocks from the portal and on the same level. Kept dying just trying to get to it.

  2. You can also approach it from underneath ;)... to prevent dying... :p

  3. Tried that and didn't work.
  4. I was digging endstone.. Kind of had a haste II beacon up.. lol. If you get right under the portal (I was atleast 2 blocks below it) and it works... Ill edit in a screenshot shortly.

    Looks like its a 4 block radius and b/t y-levels 58-63

  5. Gotcha. I must have been too far beneath it.

I'm back in the End though xD Grabbed some bottle for dragon's breathe :p

Also a question for those that have killed the Dragon since we updated. If you mine one of the pillars of obsidian, does a new one pop up when you summon a new dragon?
  6. I believe just the top 10 blocks (and cages if there are any) respawn

  7. Nop, all of it.

  8. As Ben above me stated, it all goes back. I've already gone through a whole Mincer :D.

  9. Ok yet another round of bug fixes.

Anyone who got the "Sending too many packets" that is fixed
also fixed more stuff with shop signs
    fixed shield taking damage
hopefully fixed bugs with entities getting frozen and other weird issues
added support for 1.10 clients to connect

added a bunch of other debug statements to diagnose unexpected things happening to fix furthur bugs.

  11. I am super excited for the 1.10 client support, esp. because I can actually mine with that one (your offhand doesn't become a jitterbug during minig). I'm definitely going to try that one out ;)

  12. Oh, thanks! That occurred to me too, I ended up mining without the menus on (F1), but that didn't work too well either.

  13. Yah, but in the mean time I can share that this doesn't change when playing on 1.9 with a 1.10 client. So we'll have to be a little more patient I guess :)

  14. Time for more fun, it seems! o.o
  15. Note that I'm assuming that these fixes have already gone live yet, I assume as much because I can already connect using 1.10 (which I'm very pleased with!):

I'm sad to report that this hasn't been fixed yet. But... because I'm connected using 1.10 I obviously can't rule out that this might have caused something.

But the shield behaviour has become even more erratic. Not only didn't my shield took any damage, it also disappeared from my inventory a couple of times. I was fighting a few skeletons when all of a sudden my shield was gone. I couldn't find it anywhere; I was going back and forth my off hand and used my 5th slot in the hotbar for it. Then a moment later it reappeared again. I haven't been able to reproduce this so far.

But bottom line: my shield just survived a Momentus / guardians fight and it came out completely unscratched.

There's also something else which seems odd. I was fighting said Momentus together with Poofasaurus in a group and well, this suddenly happened:

The reason why we were both so shocked is because this was one tough cookie to beat (we fought at diff. 6). Some enraged guardians were baby zombies and those are pretty tough. But -10? ;)

  16. Odd event. Laying down a dirt block and it turned to stone. Has this happened to anyone else or probably more likely is that I'm a magic man. If only I could turn water to wine.

  17. Yay!! for updates that fix bugs and stuff.
  18. yup. Does look like there are some other issues that I missed in my fixings.
  19. This is probably "normal": the stone block was already there, just not visible for you. When you try to place the dirt block stone becomes visible - the dirt block isn't consumed. Sometimes it is enough to click the invisible block. It's a kind of glitch, difference between what happened at the server side vs what your client thinks - it happens often when speed-mining and when you go out of the reach of the beacon.

  20. I don't know if this has been posted here or elsewhere, but I have been noticing bugs with teleport signs with pressure plates above them. When walking on the pressure plate, it teleports you to the set location but then instantly teleports back on top of the pressure plate. It does this at least once, sometimes a few times in a row, before eventually teleporting correctly. I apologize if this was posted already on here or submitted elsewhere.
