But there is also a reset schedule, the Wastelands wiki page has more on that.

Erhms, I can summarize: every 3 months. So in September the next reset is going to happen.

TIP: Sell ALL of your diamonds before the reset, after the reset diamond prices will drop a bit as they will be easier to get.

Thanks for the links. And I'd like to say I know I'm a little high maintenance. But it would seem that given the in game economic importance tied to the reset, that it would be very advantageous for players who mine in the wastes to have an easier to find discrete date for the very next planned reset, updated as necessary, perhaps located at the top of the wastelands wiki page. Another idea is to just post the LAST reset date at the top of that page. Again, updated as resets happen. (Might be lower than planned as plans can change....etc.)

Yes and no. The ores and minerals are replaced, sure... but to mix things up, the biomes and ores are all found in different locations after the reset and some of the biomes may even be different than last time; otherwise, it'd be all too easy to find the ores again and again.

i think krysyy confirmed it in mumble its only really tentative on a major update coming out close to the quarterly resets. since one hasnt really came out that recently i dont think the calendar has changed

The reset will not happen without at least a few days' official notice by Staff, so players have an opportunity to remove their temporary items from the Wastelands. There's no reset today.
