The Biggest Redstone Creation on EMC!

  1. Hello wonderful people of EMC!

    Today I come with a request and an announcement.

    First off the announcement, I am going to attempt to recreate the redstone maze from THIS video, now I have measured everything and I am able to put it underneath my res. It will be completely free to anyone and everyone! I have already started working on it when I soon realized that this is going to have to be a community effort! Simply, I need redstone and a lot of it! For all you number people out there I will break it down for you.

    I am going to need:

    7647 redstone torches or 120 stacks
    6635 redstone dusts or 104 stacks
    1712 redstone repeaters or 27 stacks
    1024 hoppers or 16 stacks
    1024 droppers or 16 stacks
    1024 redstone comparators or 16 stacks
    2216 iron doors or 41 double chests

    Now I can only get this done with the help of you guys! So I have set up some donation chests at 811 on SMP1, anyone who donates with get a signed book by me (I have never given any out) and their name on the wall in the entry room and exit room of the maze!

  9. Couldn't iron doors be substituted with wood if you don't give use perms?

  10. The looks like a good cause to donate to, I'll see what redstone I have for you ;). If you find a massive fault in it then good look sorting it out :p

  16. But a wood doors wouldn't cost 53k at 4r per ingot. At 5r an ingot it's 66k.

    Correct me if I'm wrong here, but with wood doors it would cost 3321r at 1/4r a plank. At 1/2r per plank it's 6642r.
