[SUGGESTION] See your own "last seen xxx time ago" message

  1. Simple suggestion: I'm often curious how long it's been since I logged in. Could this message that everyone except the person logging in him/herself can see, perhaps also be shown to the person logging in? :) It could just be somewhere in the spam we already get when logging in. :p

    I'm not sure what benefit this would have to the player experience, as right when you login, it resets to "online now"..?

  3. I want to see how long it's been since I was online last. Everyone gets to see it, apart from the actual person logging in!

  7. I rejoin an emc server once every 2-7 months for a 15 minute period of sadness
    The last time I commented on anything on the forum was over a year ago
    I can't explain why, but this is a necessity.

    I think last time I asked someone and I had 27 days since last seen or so, but what if nobody is online

  9. It could be like the "you haven't been online in more than 30 days" message, but it tells you "you were last seen 13 hours and 27 minutes ago," for example. I like this suggestion. :)

  13. Yes! Sometimes people tell other people, and that's quite fun, but this doesn't frequently happen, and it seems strange to ask people for it. :p

  18. My thoughts. I am against the suggestion. I would instead add a command which shows this information to you, assuming you run it during that login.

  19. I’d be all for that too! Then you get to see it when you want to, with absolutely no gameplay changes to the player.

    Would that be difficult to implement?

  20. Interesting "countersuggestion"! I have a "countercounterargument": :D

    A part of the use case for this is people who haven't been online for a which, such as neonkillah (hi!! :D) described. I expect a command like this to be one of the many forgotten awesome commands. There are many awesome commands that I don't know their existence of! There are also many commands that i know the existence of, but don't know the actual command. I fear this command would fall under these two groups for many people.
