The UWE requests an alliance with UNAFR. They promise full support in wars that the UNAFR enter. The UWE also promises to send men to the UNAFR and it's allies, even though it has a small military. They also will provide UNAFR with their vehicles, such as planes and boats. The UWE changes the production of factories to military goods, such as weapons and possibly vehicles. These items will be sent to the UNAFR and allies when they request it. With the UWE allying themselves with UNAFR, they ask for a few naval ships for reason listed above. The UWE promise to increase their influence in Asia to help UNAFR out.

Granted. We don't really request men, vehicles, ships and planes, we have plenty of that, but during a war, the UNAFR would really love to us the UWE as a military base. It is hard to fight when you're on another continent, lol. All the UNAFR really needs is a steady supply of food and ammo during a war, we don't really request a large number of men, but it would be helpful. With that said, we will sell you the 8 cruisers for an 80% discount (This is a good deal, the UWE is pretty rich, affording a few million dollars worth of ship is a great deal). But to not be after money, the UNAFR gifts the UWE 3 guided missile destroyers, all the latest and high tech. The UNAFR also asks the UWE if they would be interested in joining NPAT. The North Pacific Alliance Treaty is an international pact comprised of countries from each continent. Everyone supplies and supports everyone else and during a war everyone helps out. Members of NPAT: As you can tell, NPAT is a pretty big alliance. By joining, you basically control influence across the world. Sure, new members don't get the utmost of recognition, but being able to have an ally in Pakistan, Malaysia, or Kenya who will always accept you to stay in their country is truly a very powerful start for a new nation like UWE. The UNAFR also wants to sell the UWE personal computers and help them start their own presence on The Internet, UNAFR holds many ground in the internet, being home to Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. Yi Sun-Shin, the primary distributor of humanitarian aid in Natural Disasters and to many a lovely sight, that has been constantly running missions (alternating with Admiral Kuznetsov to prevent fatigue) to deliver aid to natural disaster victims, has been torpedoed. While the bulk and sheer size of the ship prevented sinking, HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin was delivering aid to disaster victims and acting accordingly. They had cut their armaments to bare minimum and their escort was tiny, barely enough to fend off attack; this was all indicating that they were not there for purposes of war, but for peace. And someone torpedoed them. The parts are too mangled to know what it was supposed to be, but it looks like a Western Design. More specifically, European. Keep in mind this thing is pride of the HMKX Navy. Despite being old, mechanically problematic, uncooperative, and leaking below decks, this ship has a mind of its own and is probably the most loved ship in the Navy, the Hood of the modern age. 12 crewmen died in this unprovoked attack. The already angry HMKX public is jumping to conclusions; while it might have been an accidental attack, (after all, at the time Yi Sun-Shin's communications equipment and a lot of other stuff was malfunctioning), HMKX is blaming FRNS for the attack and demanding compensation. At least, that's what the Government wants. The people want war, and the government is losing its ability to control them. The President is on the verge of impeachment, his ratings drop by the day.
HMKX has requested that they work out a trade deal with NPAT as well as UWE for the purposes of Global Trade. HMKX is willing to negotiate with NPAT, UNAFR and UWE for the improvement of Trade Relations between them, as well as the melding of the Google Search Engine and the NEXT Search Engine to create a combined Superplatform for data sharing. HMKX has secretly proposed a non-aggression pact to both UWE and UNAFR. If in the event war does rage in Europe, HMKX will not touch UWE , NPAT or UNAFR holdings in any way if NPAT remains neutral in the conflict. For example, should HMKX become under attack by Romania, Romania should cease its attack and HMKX will not retaliate against them. Should EC invade Romania to make it fight against HMKX, HMKX will liberate the Romanians and leave rebuilding and the creation of a new Government to NPAT. HMKX also promises to not completely dismantle EC in the case of European Conflict, nor will they annex any states. This is all secret, of course. Vietnam was pulled out of NPAT years ago, sorry Otus. HMKX basically said to them "dude not cool" but HMKX is amenable to compromise between NPAT and GAD.

The UNAFR and NPAT agree to the trade agreement. Russia and China are both insane resources and industrial monsters, and due to the large population, they have done more work than Canada and Alaska. I don't know the exact trade items, but I propose we just trade natural resources at large scales. NPAT and UNAFR agree to the pact composed by HMKX. During a war with the EC and HMKX, NPAT and UNAFR will not intervene. They will only intervene if any NPAT nations are attacked, or if any NPAT/UNAFR possessions are destroyed. Even if HMKX accidentally shoots down a cruddy UNAFR plane, the UNAFR will join the war regardless. UWE is encouraged to sign the pact as well. Don't worry, I thought Vietnam was free, it was my mistake.
The Empire is one of the few countries that can pump out a lot of things at a large scale with no middleman, being relatively self-sufficient (food cough cough). HMKX stuff is cheap and it doesn't break, appealing to the domestic class in the Empire and around the World. It's not exceptional quality, but it works. Might as well as make a military infodump Priorities: 1. Reliability 2. Quantity 3. Quality 4. Efficiency Why are these the priorities, instead of the Western 1. Quality 2. Efficiency 3. Reliability 4. Quantity ? This is because of HMKX's nature. In a mud-filled battlefield where guns need to work no matter what, where resupply is hard and you need to send 3 shipments because 2 will inevitably be blown up, reliability is key. The AK-74 and AK-47 do not fail, they are unlike European or Western Rifles in that their performance may be mediocre but they are reliable and can be churned out in huge numbers. You can literally use shoelaces tied in knots soaked in oil as cleaning rods and it will not degrade too much, AK-47 and AK-74 alike. In Russian Swamp, you dip it in the mud and then clean it with that. Try that with an FN FAL, SA80 or an M16. It will break down. Try repairing it with wood stitched together with pipe cleaners. It will still fire. Try that with an FN FAL, SA80 or an M16. It will break. Of course, its wide clearances make for a worse rifle. It's inaccurate, but that matters little when you are fighting in Muddy Terrain where all your rifles are jamming. HMKX Artillery is also like that. They don't break down in the dirt. HMKX artillery pieces and bombs can take a bit of dirt and still function all right. Next, Quantity. How easy is the AK-74 to produce, again? Easy. You could make one in a garage somewhere, if you had the instructions. The AK-47 is even easier. It works fine, does its job and is easy to train. Now, in a war of attrition, a strategy of quantity becomes more and more viable. Western Doctrine is great for clean wars. In brutal, slow wars that carve through vast swaths of territory, like that of HMKX? A large number of Soldiers is a damn good idea. Each and every soldier is worth less, each and every soldier is more disposable. But quantity is great when one wants to project overwhelming force, too. Doesn't matter if one in every 10 bombs are a dud if you drop 10,000. This is an explanation of HMKX doctrine. It's built for large nations with large populations, and thus unviable for small nations or those with small populations.
The reason is because the UNAFR's military is relatively small, while The Empire can reach a military of 10 million with no problem. While 10 million of those soldiers are all farmers trained on 2 months of training and equipped with a sling of ammo and an AK-47, those 1 million UNAFR are all highly trained, equipped with the best of the best and trained to become warriors. Even if 1 million UNAFR soldiers could easily kill a large portion of those HMKX soldiers, the HMKX will eventually keep rushing in more and more men until the UNAFR is overwhelmed.
It's a difference in doctrine, a difference in condition. Each army is suited for defending its own territory. We have to respect that HMKX doctrine is different from UNAFR doctrine. Try using UNAFR doctrine in HMKX. Try using HMKX doctrine in UNAFR. Both times, you fail. Also, HMKX isn't poor. Thanks. It's a bit poorer than UNAFR or FRNS, or those fancy European countries, but HMXK isn't far behind.
Why bother spending so much on your soldiers when you can just conscript a bunch of soldiers and give them low-level training? It saves money, it saves time, and the mass amount of troops can be overwhelming. The Empire is also known for not giving a whole lot of attention to human life.
Times change. People change. HMKX's doctrine has changed. The cost of land wars are getting bigger and bigger. HMKX still values cheap, effective tactics, more than UNAFR or any Western Nation. Seriously, their standard issue rifle could be made in some idiot's garage! HMKX still is able to use soldiers as a disposable resource, but HMXK wants a good reason to justify mass death. People are getting richer, and they question things. HMKX has risen alongside them and is using more and more money on each soldier. Also, AK-74.
The FRNS denies any involvement in the torpedo attack on the Yi Sun-Shin. As a gesture of goodwill however, they pay the compensation the HMKX is demanding and offer to open an independent international inquiry into who torpedoed the ship.
It's wayyy too late for that now. It's overdue by several months, HMKX thinks FRNS was probably responsible for this and lying (and isn't wrong), and HMKX has too much experience with people paying compensation not genuinely meaning apology (Japanese cough cough). At bare minimum, the HMKX President is going to be impeached for both inaction and failing to represent the will of the people, and be replaced by a much more hostile leader. Probable outcome? War. HMKX is very angry at FRNS's actions as of late, and they've kept it down. The post about invasion plans and a EC Military Policies (median idea; endorsement of invasion of one of their most essential and best allies, public release of war plans; clear attempt at provoking HMKX) would have been good enough a Casus Belli, but HMKX kept its mouth shut, and now THIS? Like I said, all the big ethnic groups are angry.
The FRNS has submitted a request to the OEO for an independent inquiry into the torpedoing of the Yi Sun-Shin. It assumes it can put the HMKX down as a 'no' vote, showing their clear desire for war - it's their Reichstag fire.
OEO clarifies they can actually do this without their approval. So far, OEO has discovered The Torpedo was most certainly FRNS-originated. HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin suffered catastrophic failure of communications systems from a system crash. Their escort believed that the message that the Supercarrier was on a humanitarian mission was sent and had failed to register FRNS communications. The investigation believes that parts of the FRNS communications were encrypted, for whatever reason. The FRNS sub that launched the torpedo claims HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin was in FRNS water. HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin claims otherwise. No one knows who is right. HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin was on a humanitarian mission; they had communicated this to FRNS authorities several hours before, but the Submarine ordered to shadow the Carrier group didn't get the memo, or was deliberately not told to provoke an attack. They still don't know why it happened, but HMKX is kind of out of patience at this point. They only have a concrete story months from the torpedoing, the Government did not ask for a sum to the families of the soliders, FRNS lied about them not being responsible, their path is set. An angry people is now uncontrollable.It's too late now. The Pro-Peace President has been forced to resign under a hail of criticism. The VP will serve until HMKX can organize an election. He is anti-war, but not pro-peace. All the candidates are riding on the people's rage and promising tough action on FRNS's threats of invasion. And the dominoes fall, one by one. The UWE Thanks The UNAFR for their genorous gift and 3 destroyers. The UWE also will pay the millions of dollars for the other naval ships. This will really help the UWE. The UWE is reluctant to join The NPAT because of their small army and little ability to help with man power,but can help with vehicles and machinery. We made the deal about man power with UNAFR because it was one nations, not many. The UWE would also want to buy some computers for the government, and some for citizens. Welcome to the seminal tragedy. Or is it? Welcome to the HMKX Presidential Campaign. This will decide so much. Mr. Zhao, a Chinese Asian-Nationalist, and one hell of a war hawk. He promises to, in his words "make FRNS pay for their lies and negligence." He's reasonably popular, and charismatic. He has the charm of a young, fiery man that is handsome and strong-willed. But if he is elected, HMKX will go into war. He is nationalist, and he is willing to fulfill his promise. Liberal, and attracts women (for obvious reasons). Mister Anand, an Indian Man. He promises a tough stance on FRNS and greater security for their allies. Also popular. But he is not a war hawk. If FRNS screws up, there will be war. But if they don't, there will be "peace". He is conservative, and "wishes for the days when HMKX was a global beacon of strength, not being dragged around by its own 'allies'", in hiswords. Zhao is ahead of Anand, but Anand is well loved by middle-aged persons as she gets results. Miss Sokolov, a centrist. She is old, and she is a minority candidate. However, she is very well respected and has the support of the political establishment. In addition, she is draining support from Zhao faster than he is draining from Anand and he is rising in the polls. She believes that War is rash and should not be, but that if it happens, it must be prosecuted to complete victory. Complete victory meaning a treaty that is hugely advantageous towards the home nation. Basically, FRNS has no good options. Keep in mind assassinating one of them will 100% cause a war, regardless of who or what did it. The previous president did right, holding the Public back for as long as he did. If they had gone to war, on that fateful day FRNS had endorsed an invasion of Turkey, HMKX would be embroiled in what could truly be called World War 3.
The UNAFR is striking a deal with India and China. UNAFR wants clothing and textiles, and their luxurious brands need to be fed. Again, I don't know how trading works exactly in the real world, but we'll purchase it.
