If war is what they desire, so be it. HMKX is ready. The Empire Navy has begun a process of militarization. If EC wants a war, then they will get it. HMKX has set a goal: A 800-ship Navy. It might not be realistic under the United States of America, but HMKX has four and a half times their GDP (or, a bit less than 1/2 their GDP per capita because let's face it, 9 times the premier economic power is way too OP and this is OP enough as is because it's two and a half times that of Europe.). It is quite realistic for them. The E-5, HMKX's first fifth generation fighter has entered service in these trying times. They are HMKX's first computerized Battle platform, exceeding the F-22. They will smash anything else in the air with the exception of the F-22. Ukraine has been removed from negotiations by HMKX pressure. Belarus, being a former Soviet state and having relatively good relations with HMKX has undergone a impeachment of national leaders and reorganization of the state. Poland has undergone a complete embargo by HMKX unless they refuse to cooperate with EC on military matters, including an embargo on the all-important Russian Oil and Gas. They caved quickly, and they had good relations with the buddy that sold them tons of their stuff anyway. Peaceful matters are still allowed. HMKX is fortifying its border, turning it into a giant version of Zhukov's fortress Kursk. Russia will be bloody. But that's not all. Saudi Arabia will not fall easy. Neither will Iraq. They are both formidable enemies, and the projection models of the EC are far too optimistic. HMKX is well aware of this. Did I forget to mention the Saudis have nukes? Or that Iraq is neither poor nor weak? As a matter of fact, they are both quite very powerful. Any invasion force attempting to breach Istanbul or Saudi Arabia will be irradiated and incinerated before long. Also, they have vast spheres of influence all over the Middle East. HMKX has blood to spare, that is sure, and they intend to purchase the Suez Canal with it. HMKX says that they are willing to sacrifice 10 million men in order to defend Istanbul and feed the Russian people. They are not lying. The HMKX Army has downsized, but it is once again upsizing to 10 million, and even larger. All HMKX needs is food exports. If UFOS is willing to export vast amounts of grain, HMKX will be grateful. They get money, HMKX gets food. Turkey says it will defend its territory to the death. HMKX reinforces this idea with a large force that will defend Turkey. Turkey will be bloody, but HMKX is willing to pay the price. HMKX's vast industrial might is once again remobilized, old factories run up again, oil stockpiled. HMKX Generals read up on deep battle and slowly bogging down enemies in Russia. Encirclement using overwhelming force is key; HMKX's version of deep battle depends on a relatively well-supplied and huge army; HMKX can produce so much stuff that they have the first in the bag. Huge army is also in the bag, from the sheer numbers of mobilizable troops. Therefore, HMKX can effectively ignore losses and encircle enemies with ease. At least in theory. In practice, it would require that the enemy gained large amounts of ground and stretched their own supply lines thin before attempting Deep Battle. If FRNS is to successfully create a Nuclear First Strike, then HMKX will respond with 1,000 Nuclear Missiles targeting factories and farms, as well as major military locations. Keep in mind this is a tenth of the HMKX arsenal. They could just as easily fire off half and render Europe a radioactive crater, but they won't, because even in war dignity must be maintained. But HMKX draws the line at their people. The people are priority, and HMKX will do what is needed to prevent a Nuclear Strike against their people. If it happens, there will be hell to pay.
440,000 is a realistic amount, although not the best in the current game, lol. The UNAFR has 1.2 Million men, HMKX has 5 million, FNRS + the EC is somewhere around 5 million, and UFOS is above 1 million. With that said, a small army in this game is around 500,000 due to the power creep of other nations. You're gonna wanna keep up with everyone else, so around 1,000,000-2,000,000 million troops is a really massive army for the UWE. A perfect amount would be around 1,700,000. It would probably take 20 posts to upgrade to that size though. Scale wise... 400,000: Small army, almost crushable by anyone else 1,000,000-1,700,000: Somewhat large army. What plays more of a role in an army this size is technology and naval/airforce. The UNAFR is a perfect example of this, 1 million strong and the most advanced military in the world. 2,000,000-5,000,000: Huge Army, you'll only reach this by devoting your entire nation into military or by being the HMKX 10,000,000+: This is only possible by drafting your entire country, it could be damaging. Usually only done in wartime. UWE has a total population of 155,000,000. The UNAFR has around 63 million. The UWE can easily amass a large army of between 1-3 million men, although it would be a bit difficult. The reason why UNAFR can keep so many men is that of logistics and decades-long military planning.
Google has been founded in the UNAFR. The search engine using the World Wide Web allows users to reach endless amounts of information and websites all throughout the internet. A valuable tool, and a tool which UNAFR waves in The Empire's face. The UNAFR is expanding faster than ever on the internet, investing in large networks and creating tons of servers, becoming the biggest internet power player. The Predator MQ-1 Drone is in high use, scanning crisis zones, such as Hong Kong. The UNAFR is impressed with the HMKX's defence and opts for even larger production of ABM systems in the UNAFR. Thousands of ABM systems capable of minimizing a horde of HMKX nuclear missiles are underway. Although the UNAFR could not stop a full attack, they could stop a hefty portion. The F-22 flies around HMKX, priding in its glamouring, letting them realize the strength of the UNAFR.
The E-5 is in service and is predicted to be F-22's equal if not superior. HMKX does not flaunt this, the only reason it even went into service this early is because of FRNS's posturing and threats, and the fact they're probably gearing up for war. HMKX has decided to go with the flow on UNAFR's search engine and create their own version. HMKX, in a rare display of friendship has proposed linking the two engines into one Super-Engine. With HMKX having a massive market to sustain, the job is considerably more difficult. Controlling the links is good, but they want more.
List of Current Naval Classes in the UNAFR Royal Navy: Aircraft Carriers: Nimitz Class The Nimitz is a Class of Nuclear Powered aircraft carriers Attack Submarines: Los Angeles Class The Los Angeles is a Class of Nuclear Powered fast attack submarines Ballistic Missile Submarines: Ohio Class The Ohio is a Class Nuclear Powered Ballistic Missile Submarine, capable of carrying deadly ICBM weaponry. (Also a guided missile family in the Class) Cruisers: Ticonderoga Class The Ticonderoga is a Class of Guided Missile Cruisers, with phased array radar. Destroyers: Arleigh Burke Class The Arleigh Burke is a Class of Guided Missile Destroyers, fit with high tech combat and radar systems. Overall, the UNAFR Royal Navy has a 400 strong naval force. All ships are equipped with HIGH TECH combat systems, radar, computers, weaponry, sensors, etc. Amphibious Assault Ships, Patrol Ships and others are not included in the list. The current number of 400 ships isn't expected to move around much. The UNAFR focuses on heavily upgrading all ships with recent technologies and focusing on what they have. Over the years though, ships will obviously fade out. The CV-62 Independence is being sold for scrapping, 39 years of a great run and more than one war. Good job Independence, we salute you. The only Non-Nimitz Class aircraft carriers left is the CVN-65 and the CVN-67. The CVN-65 should last until 2017 and the CVN-67 until 2007. Nimitz will still dominate the Navy.
HMKX has surprisingly offered to make Indepedence merch to sell to UNAFR audiences. They seem in a mood for good relations with UNAFR. HMKX itself seems to be in a mood for good UNAFR relations.

HMKXS Calamity HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin HMKXS Chandragupta HMKXS Volvograd The HMKX Navy is offering a deal for the same treatment for UNAFRS America. HMKX knows how to do this right; they've been doing this for years now. UNAFR gets out of other things: Money, Publicity, and a boost in Patriotism. HMKX finances this and breaks even, the rest goes to UNAFR. (They've basically always broken even, at least with the exception of one or two TV show which was a complete flop) Of course, HMKX isn't getting nothing out of this either. HMKX wants better relations. HMKX hasn't always benefited off this. See my post a few pages back about the benefits and drawbacks of this model of financing.
I'll accept that then. By the way, has China always been producing cheap stuff for the UNAFR? I always assumed it was, but it wasn't really a big deal. As for trading, I assume the HMKX and UNAFR have been trading commerce this whole time, right? OR are we just starting now lol
This is the first real Nation-to-Nation deal, but HMKX sells everywhere. HMKX has a China today-IRL level of control over their own companies, which is quite a lot. A HMKX Army shell company is doing this for UNAFR. China makes stuff, India is a bit more specialized and fun. They make relatively cheap, medium-quality stuff. Cheap and not bad is HMKX's philosophy when it comes to just about everything. Need to kill enemies? Pump out a ton of cheap and not bad tanks! Need to dominate a market? Pump out a ton of cheap and not bad products! India and Korea don't follow this philosophy. Each of HMKX's different regions have different philosophies.
HMKX is gearing up for war with the European Commonwealth, since they just endorsed a hugely offensive idea to the Turkish (like if HMKX said annexing Canada would be a very good idea), reorganizing its military, on the steps of Federalizing, and seems to be planning to take down HMKX, intentionally leaking highly comprehensive plans against HMKX, several times more so than HMKX's plan which is still tightly classified to prevent insulting the EC. If they want a bloodbath, a bloodbath they will get, and blood they will lose. If they don't declare war, ...GREAT! HMKX DOESN'T WANT IT ANYWAY! FRNS THREW A HISSY FIT OVER A CITY, THAT'S WHY HMKX'S IN THIS MESS IN THE FIRST PLACE!(The cost of war is rising. Alt, an army any larger than 20 million is simply unsustainable, for HMKX and even more for EC. Large land wars simply are getting harder and harder, and HMKX, the king of land wars knows this. They've downsized, and for good reason.)
HMKX interprets this as extreme aggression and a clear attempt to undermine HMKX integrity in the Eastern European and Asian spheres. HMKX has decided that the EC is dangerous to World Peace; Anti-Nuclear Missile Systems are on full alert, and HMKX is bracing for war and telling all their allies to do so. HMKX is not idiotic; they do not follow the EC plans and instead plan out a comprehensive defensive plan to slow down the enemy on all fronts. Their allies do the same. If there is no war, they at least have a very good excuse to justify the larger military as they outright endorsed attacking Turkey. HMKX has to restrain Turkey, because they are very understandably angry at the European Commonwealth for effectively endorsing an invasion of their Homeland. HMKX has made clear that if FRNS wants a war so badly, they can get it. Nationalistic tensions are whipped up; HMKX is fundamentally unable to understand why FRNS and the EC are angry over a city that should have been returned months ago. If there is a war, consider the defenses automatic. HMKX forces will naturally defend Russia. HMKX forces will arrive in vast numbers to defend Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq. By vast, I mean truly vast. HMKX allies will probably attack Namibia En Masse if they try anything. The HMKX Navy attack EC Naval forces of the Mediterranean Sea. As UWE is no longer part of the EC, HMKX will have a much easier time. Several task forces will be deployed in order to accomplish this. This all happens if war even happens, if not that's great.
The UNAFR is creating new laws to keep wild and domesticated animals safe. One of these laws is the banning of Declawing cats. Although it isn't that popular in the UNAFR, it is still being outlawed.
Controversy over Quebec is being sounded in the UNAFR. Many Quebec citizens plea for the Independence of Quebec, stating that Quebec was and is always different than Canada. Plans by the Quebec government have already been considered on where borders should reside, the currency, the situation with the First Nations peoples, etc. This is a worrisome time in UNAFR, if the UNAFR government was a dictatorship this wouldn't have been thought of, but since there is so much free will and diversity in the UNAFR it sends a message to all on what the future could bring.
UFOS has also put it's military on HIGH alert incase something happens we will be ready. All 5 of our supercarriers have been mobilized and are ready the three nuclear subs we have are being reoutfitted with better armor and will be ready in 6 months
Also UFOS has created The National Gun Law it states ALL UFOS citizens shall have the right to bear ANY gun as long as they are not A convicted felon or sex offender Any person that commits a crime with a gun will be sentenced to at least 45 years in prison or more depending on the crime
The only way UFOS is going to get nuked is if they 1. Use nukes on other Nations 2. The person they are land attacking is just really pissed off Other than that, UFOS is pretty safe since they haven't contributed to the majority of wars that have happened.
