  1. Dihydrogen Monoxide is a chemical compound that pollutes our oceans and rivers, a major component of acid rain, and has killed many over the years it has existed. It has even made our way into our genetic make-up.

    Should we ban Dihydrogen Monoxide?

You are an idiot if you think we should ban water. Dihydrogen Monoxide is H2O, it's water. The fact is, what was mentioned above is actually 100% true. Drink Responsibly.

  3. Okay, but this one is for fun.
  4. You mean ban H2O? Uhm.. no :D

  5. Obiviously, this stuff is super dangerous and can kill you easily.
  6. It’s a known chemical used in firefighting, and we wear our own face masks and oxygen supply around it, and store it in enclosed tanks. That should tell you all you need to know about this.
  7. Y'know what? Sure. Let's ban water. It's only like, 80% of the human body, I'm sure we can do just fine without it.

  8. Bump, spread the word!
  9. Bump, this must get out
  10. I shouldn't of thought so hard of what this was
  11. I think jkrmnj's was executed better, but I hadn't read that yet, so thanks, still. ;)

My favourite statement, which was in both threads, is that it's a major component of acid rain. :D
The problem is that you didn't say anything about where it's actually used. That makes the question a bit strange. Ban it from what?
jkrmnj did have some nice ones, like Put into many "All Natural" fruit juices. :p

  13. Heck yeah, it'll be fun to see how we survive the post-apocalyptic wasteland to come.

  14. Hydroxilic acid will undergo a dissociation reaction with a strong base. And we let our children drink this?

  15. No. If we banned water, H2O, Dihydrogen Monoxide, or whatever you want to call it, we would all die in days.

  16. I'm pretty sure it would still be used by many, who choose to break the law. Others could drink milk. Although there's water in milk, so perhaps that'd be banned as well.

  18. With enough exposure to Dihydrogen Monoxide, you’d be dead in minutes. Sounds like you need to re-evaluate priorities.

  19. Well, that doesn't say much. That's true for many vital things.
