New Features and bug fixes! 7/25/2016

  1. And/or add in a requirement that makes you have to be standing on a block, so you can't tp back up while falling.
    I know we're restricting it more like this, but for the uses it's meant for it won't be a problem.

  4. I see that colored messages in books via [Message] are only for supporters now. No idea we were exploiting a bug.

    I'm thinking this should be for everyone simply because anyone can be creative, regardless of being a supporter! :)
  5. May I suggest to rename the /ps option to 'Allow GroupTP' or something similar? The current setting [Allow group members to TP to your location] seems a bit too long, esp. since the hover pop-up will also explain the feature :)

  6. meh, sorry for 2 posts, I'm just a little excited here :)

    In case you wonder at what distance you can teleport to each other in the waste or wild:


    Which leaves me with a suggestion: right now /gr who shows you near & far players in the group. I was wondering if it were possible (and feasible) to add a 3rd section: Local, Near, and Far. Local = within 48 blocks (so you can teleport), Near = 50 - 128 blocks (range for local chat) and Far = anything beyond that.

    The reason I include local chat is because many people mix this, at least at first. I've seen this happening several times, most recent during SMP2's "ad-hoc" FNM event ;) So it seemed like an appropriate distance to me :)

  7. I do recall you and Krysyy saying that dragon eggs and max res vouchers would be for sale with tokens eventually, is there an estimate for how much they would cost and how dragon eggs would be different (if at all) from the existing non-original ones?

  8. Obviously I don't know when they come out/how much they are, but I have heard that the dragon eggs coming out in the future will be the same as the existing non-originals. After the initial announcement for Dragon Tombs, the existing non-originals were given to vanilla egg owners so that they essentially had a head start and had the eggs before everyone else got them in Tombs.. The eggs were always planned to be the same (bar the original eggs), so as far as I know that's still the plan, but I guess things can always change :p I have a feeling someone said the token eggs (if that's how it's decided to be done) were still going to be the same as well, but yeah, that's all I know! :)

  9. True, but you don't get eggs from dragon tombs: you get tokens from them, and then you can purchase the eggs with those tokens. The dragon tombs will just probably be the most efficient way to earn tokens, and thus the dragon eggs are associated with them, but you can buy them with tokens earned from anything.

  10. Umm, is this how the new entity count is supposed to work? We have a sheep farm in the wild. 200 sheep in a room with rooms 100 blocks apart. 150 sheep just vanished before my eyes as I was shearing them. We've done this in the water and lit up the few caves under us to keep the entity count of the area under control. Squid made us go over maybe? Not sure, but ouch :/

  11. I know you don't get eggs from the tombs, the tombs don't even exist yet. I'm talking about at the time. Previously, tokens didn't exist when Dragon Tombs were announced for the first time (before the 4 part stage thing was announced), so the plan was to have the eggs released in the tombs. Obviously plans have changed since, but what I'm saying is that the plan was to have the dragon eggs in the tombs the same as the non-originals out now, so seeing as how they said they are going to be token purchasable (as already known), they still should be the same eggs, with no differences.

  12. And now, 200 black sheep vanished. Entity count at 13 monsters and 8 squid (presumably). Ok Aikar, why you do this to us? :( Getting outta here before more vanish.

  19. Normally you get an error message saying "you're too far away", but reading the above now makes me worry that one of you will end up getting auto removed instead :D

  20. I don't understand the need to add dragons eggs to the game. All it will do is devalue current eggs, and considering that there are very few items worth millions, that is a good way to discourage rich players from using the economy.

    I support them being added to someone's approved Empire (as in, SS+ placed), but giving everyone a dragon egg makes them relatively worthless.
