What is the weirdest Minecraft feature according to you?

  2. Hmm... Difficult. Perhaps glitching through a wall using enderpearls. Unfortunately they fixed pearl spamming in 1.9 so I fear that once EMC upgrades we'll have no (easy) way to access the old tutorial anymore. Unless there is another way to enter which I haven't found yet :)

But I most definitely think that chickens are weird.

Honest... Here I was hoping to finally figure out the ancient question on why the chicken crossed the road. So I set up this dedicated scientific experiment featuring a road, a lava pool, a water pool and several chickens. The result? I still don't know why they crossed the road. Instead I got a new mystery to solve: Why does the chicken enter the water pools?

    :D

  5. The whole concept of witches, absolutely useless.
The fact that sponges never had any real use until 1.8
(The fact that no one has made an actual skyrim map come on the games have both been out since 2011 gee whiz)

What I do like is the whole concept of endermen. Most favorite mob, the cutest mob, I lov

  7. Wow. That surprised me. I thought diamond was far more dense than gold but I had it backwards:confused:

  8. Creepers.

I find it hard to believe that they aren't extinct. Their only purpose is to kill themselves.
  9. Baby zombies

you ever think zombies get it on

  10. I finally got one but it's for Minecraft 1.9.

You can hold an item in both hands. SO a pickaxe in your main hand and torches in your second; now you can dig and place torches without having to switch (which is what I always do). And of course you can exchange those torches for food, a shield, a map.. basically anything which uses the right mouse button to activate.

And even though a bow is a two handed weapon (even shown if you shoot it with your normal hand) you can easily fire it with your 'off hand' while the other holds a sword. But if that isn't bizarre enough: you can't do this using a fishing rod.

That's not simply strange, its plain out inconsistent. In real life it would be impossible to fire that bow, but fishing would be somewhat doable.

Not so much. They can provide a less deadly encounter with a creeper-like mob (ruined in 1.9 with their ridiculous noise I might add) and also give you early access to materials such as glowstone dust and certain potions.

  11. Game Theory did an episode on this: it seems pretty likely their method of reproduction is to explode and spread spores everywhere. It also makes sense, seeing as creepers are clearly based off plants and Notch even said they'd feel like leaves.
  12. Did you know that creepers were made by accident when the creators tried to make a pig, but mistakenly made the body too tall and not as wide. Facts are funnnn

  13. 1. Without so much as a backpack, you can carry at least 2,304 items... Where are you hiding them???

    2. You are 1.8 blocks/meters tall, yet you can mine 5 blocks/meters away!

    3. When you go outside at night, monsters randomly appear and try to kill you.

    4. So many more lol, nice thread idea
  14. I got one:
