So because the constitution says the leader must be elected by the population, this could actually mean that anyone could hold an election in wrem for new leadership, and if they are voted in favor of being the new leader then the current leader and/or government will change?

On what grounds? Do you just want to hold an election so that you can be the leader? Or do you actually have a proper reason for wanting to hold an election?

No, this is a legitimate question, I want to know why he wants to hold en election. If it's his right to request an election, then it's our right to know why.
Look, I'm not so much involved as I have been, nor will I ever be in the future (due to school and other commitments) but if napoleon wants to run for leader, and holly accepts, if majority of people want him to be the leader, he will be voted in. If not, holly will remain. There's no reason to fuss about it.
A person may request an election for what ever reason, but must be approved by the countries leader who has no obligation to accept it. Likewise, it is also good etiquette to say what the reason is
I wish to hold an election for "multiple" candidates to be the leader of wrem. Of course i include myself as being a candidate. I think that with someone more time to devote to this can improve wrem, increase its population, and make it an overall better place in the wild for people to come visit. I see what wrem was, and i see what it is now, and i know wrem has the potential. Im not suggesting that hollyhill isnt a good leader. What i am suggesting though is that wrem needs a leader that can be more involved, and devoted to this than holly is at the current time. I literally just logged on to smp9 and saw that hollyhill105 hasnt been on smp9 in a solid 5 days. He hardly posts in his forum about gledoria anymore, and i think its time for a bit of change in wrem. Of course id like to be candidate for the leader of wrem, but thats not the point im trying to get across here. We need a few different candidates if an election is to take place. Either way, i think that even if we elect someone to be a new leader, regardless of who it is, as long as they are willing to devote more time and effort into wrem, that it will be more successful than it is now. Perhaps everyone at least understands/agrees with that im saying here?

Wanted to let you all know I am creating a stock exchange in the city if any of you need a place to float your company! I have recently started a business, Cavalier PLC and you can find our HQ in the old RET factory in the city. In addition, we also have opened a carrot shop near the national hall.
On behalf of myself and hollyhill105, I pledge Wrem/Glendorias allegiance to the New Alba Union. The monarchy has been dissolved as of now and the new state (which is yet to be named) will operate as a republic with myself as president and holly as vice-president until the NAU becomes more developed. Holly will rename the thread once a new name for the state is found. A new flag will also be drawn up, but we will adopt the constitution of the NAU. In other news; as Paul stated, a stock exchange is to be created in Wrem. It will be located within the old tree farm, which is currently being renovated. All the trees have been removed, but supereskimo's facility underneath the property will remain untouched, as we don't know who uses them.
So. I have been working on SMP1 for a while. But I am back. What has become to this part of the city?
