What Will Your Story Be...

  1. I am the Adventurer.
I Climb the steepest of mountains to reach my goals with my friends. We are a pack that cannot fall.
Any kind of beast huge or small. Will never see the next day. We will settle down and build homes.
Go Mining for Diamond. Then, when the time comes. We shall bring what we have gathered. Take the wonderful path back to town. Sell our goods to local Malls. Then go on to one of our res and have some fun.
We would Create what ever we like when ever we like. We cannot be stopped.

I hope you like :). This is true also.

  2. This is like, my dream thread lol. Stories are my thing!! Is this like, a serious thing, or just a fun little tale of an adventure?
  3. I started Minecraft looking for a friendly server, one that lead to, adventure. I have built multiple buildings in the past, out in the wild. Then to be destroyed by creepers. To this day, I am always equipped with me best armor, sword, and bow, striking down all the creepers I see. Taking revenge on on them, for blowing holes in the beautiful landscape, and in the layers of stone, that protect the walls of my city. Until the day I feel complete, I must take my revenge. Only, to be blown up again...

  4. I am the designer - the innovator of creations ... reduced sized clocks, buy-able signs that let the farms harvest for you, lighting casino games, light systems, or even noteblock songs. Build the redstone mechanisms from the ground up with no for-thought? I think so  Have these designs been made before? Half of them - possibly similar ... The casino games, the clock, the noteblock mechanism to keep people from spamming play - very unlikely someone made those before just like mine ... That is my quest - to always search for new design combinations that will give a 'wow' factor.

My story is a simple one, I am, whatever you say I am.(If I wasn't, then why would I say I am?)

  6. My story is simple really. I came here to be with my son, who at the time, was too young to come alone. I learned quickly that I could be a mentor and friend to many who needed someone to believe in them. This "Family" we found on Smp4 became our home.
Today we are a little over 1.5 years old on EMC and we are laying the groundwork for one of the biggest projects ever! It continues to mold and grow, but one thing stays the same, we do it as a server... because it is our pride and joy!
I have been on many servers. My son loves to find new ones when he is bored. The one thing that we find every time... Is there is NOTHING like EMC in all of Minecraft... This place is truly The Empire of MC!
  7. Does the story have to be about in-game? Or can it be forum-side?

  9. it all started when i walked into a town, unfamiliar faces staring at me from the windows. i was an outsider, that much was known. i made my way to a building unlike any other, a shop of some sorts.

"hello? is there anyone here?" i called out tentatively.
"y-yes.. just a moment.." a frightened voice responded.

another girl appeared in front of me, her cloths looked very stylish compared to my own. she stood behind the counter, almost cowering as i approached her.

"why does everyone seem so scared of me? i'm just here to get some supplies, and i'll be gone." i stated.
"well, you are not from here, and the last time someone new came to our town they stole all of our supplies. now they live just outside, coming to 'collect taxes' every friday." she whispered.

i quickly donned on my serious face, as this was a very serious crisis. i offered her some rupees for a few supplies, which she agreed to. equiping my new sword, the glow, and blue gleam making it apparent what it was, i set out in the direction she said - north east.

as i left the town, i came across a cave within a mountain, and decided to explore. i carefully started placing torches down, but was quickly attacked by the inhabitants. the green creeper, and the skeleton were an almost deadly combo, as i blocked the explosion from the creeper, the skeleton shot me in the leg, crippling my speed.
i cut off the arrow, screaming in agony. i charged at the skeleton, as fast as i could go, and managed to cut it in half before it could notch another arrow in its bow. i looked down at my bleeding leg, before opening a healing potion, and taking a swig.
on i continued, into the cave, looking for the bandits who wrongfully robbed the town of its resources every friday, battling what may come my way.
finally, i found something - a door. i pushed it open, to find a ring of people sitting around a lit piece of netherbrick. they all turned at me, with fury and bloodlust in their eyes. i didn't give it a second thought - i charged in, sword at the ready.
the first one - i slashed at him, and he danced away from my blade, another one - a girl, to my left getting almost too close for comfort. i went after him again, making her inch closer, before i ran her through with my blade. one bandit down.
this seemed to stun the second, as he didn't move as i slashed at him. two bandits down, five more to go.
three more came at me, the other two staying behind with bows. now it was five versus one, but i liked those odds.
i made quick work of the three melee, parrying their attacks, dancing backwards away from their blows.
    *FWP-FWP!*
i managed to move one directly in front of the arrows aimed for me, at just the right moment. i couldn't help but grin, as i saw the other two melee start to panic. their sword swings got more frantic, and easier to counter. i quickly dispatched them, and went for cover, weary of the ranged bandits.

"you're good, who ever you are. you should join us, so you'll also get rich!" one called out.
"yeah, join us, get rich, and don't kill us!" the other squawked.
"i'd rather liberate the townsfolk of your filthy claws, than see any wealth. i'm sorry, but i will not be joining your gang of bandits." i yelled back.
"suit yourself." the first one shrugged, before shooting a tripwire above me.

i quickly rolled away, as the spot i was in was now covered in lava. the molten madness lit up the room in a way no torches ever could. i quickly charged at the bandits, but they were faster than i.
    *FWP-FWP!*
i was hit. my vision blurred, and i staggered. i heard them snicker, and i shook my head. i reached into my pack, and bit into a golden apple - my last resort. i stood up, and ran at them agian, my sword held high.
as their eyes got wide, as they realized they had failed, i slew them both before also falling to the ground.
the arrow was poisoned, and i was in trouble...

  10. The first page:

A lot of people know me for what I believe in. I believe in fairness, and equality throughout everything and anything. I do anything I can to help people, even if it's just moral support.
I am a great friend and love to see other ideas; even if I don't agree with some. If no one came up with new ideas, their voice wouldn't be heard throughout countless others.

I don't have a res filled completely with a build, only empty reses with lots of chests. I have built things in the past that, I really enjoyed...
It was my first ever login on EMC, I claimed a res somewhere in the 1200 range on smp 1. I wasn't diamond supporter, or didn't want to go in the wild for materials. So I bought most of the materials in shops. 413 wasn't the same. It was still a store, but, it had lots diamond blocks on the lobby. So anyways, my first ever res had so much cool things on it. I created a maze, shop, storage center, parkour, and farms... I was really sad when I never got to see the res again the next time I logged in...

But, with one loss, comes a new gain. I had a fresh start, and still own the next res, even after I reset it.

My story, incomplete. The first page wrote. The next, unwritten; not for long.

  11. Here is my story of my time here with the Empire Enjoy
My days here In the Empire have been short compared to some but long compared to the masses. During my time here I have dealt with every aspect the empire has been able to throw out there. I started my days as the green adventurer being total new to the Empire and heading straight for the great unknown that is the wilderness. I fought hard and long aside my pack of wolves I tamed to stand by my side, but one by one they dwindled down to one trusty wolf.

Upon almost losing hope I came upon what would become my first home within the Empire the at the time small city of Curthania. During many months of building surviving the many issues the empire was throwing out at us we survived. We survived the deadly events of ghastagedon while adventuring in the almost impossible nether world, while fire charges flew at us we Duck,Dive,Dodge and Ducked some more. We had a great run until an unknown force spoke from above to me and said “Move your city Death and more shall come and masses shall love you!". This is where it all began for me and my Friends I had come to make.

My rein as Emperor started that day the voice of above spoke to me. We all packed up moved North/North West. Like a caravan traveling in the heat of the desert, my people marched countless hours in the wild surviving on pack on our backs and the swords in our hands. Thus Zolara was born and our names forever etched in the history of the Empire.
The start of Zolara is a dark one and my first dark deed as the emperor my people saw me as. As we came upon a new land we saw many strange new lands that caught our eye and beheld our hearts with the beauty in the land. The Darkest day in Zolara history was the night we settled on our soon to be new home.

A peaceful village was erected in the middle of this vast plains surround by everything one could hope for to keep his people strong. That night I single handedly brought death to the entire village of peaceful people whose only concern was the wheat in their fields. I laid waste to them and thus Zolara was started, we Blossomed and grew to new levels within the Empire. We made friends and powerful alliances with people on the other side of the world. Bridges were made, nations connected and an Empire within an Empire was born the Pazzo Empire.

The Pazzo empires days were numbered from the start. The main City led by a great leader was strong and as fierce the wilderness itself. The people of people were strong and wild yet tame. Building great wall to harbor their city and many amazing structures that to this day still with stand the forces of nature and stand strong in the wind. As all things the city fell to the killer of all things -TIME-.

Even though grate city of Pazzo had fallen, Zolara stood strong and had grown to new heights where I felt my time of Emperor had come to an end and that I should join my people in an effort to expand and keep us strong. So thus my Time as Entrepreneur had started

Entrepreneur Death they called me, with my vast knowledge and almost unlimited access to resources I was and still am to this day an unstoppable force. I had lived my entire life in the Empire out in the great fierce wilderness but always herd whispers of a city at the heart only known to me as "Town" so I set out to fine this wonderful land and set up shop.

So it began I quickly set up shop and began my rein in "Town" building a massive platform in the sky that would harbor my wonders of the Empire. My shop quickly became the hot spot for

  12. Part 2
my well known reputation of always have a good supply stock. My public and next to free farms for the people became legendary and my events came next.

I began to call upon my people from the wild, telling them the wonder I had found and started in the place known as "Town" and that once again set out to join me. We built amazing places in "Town" and brought the wilderness to the people there. Our "Lost Forest" brought the wilderness fell to a safe location that people could enjoy and frolic for hours. Next came the place of the heavens “The Heavenly adventure" an area we created where people could run among the gods and see the wonders the clouds beheld within.

The fall of Zolara soon hit the nation as forces unknown at the time brought down a rain of fire to the wondrous city a dark day for the people of my nation once again I hung up my clock as Entrepreneur and pick up my dusty and trusty adventurer cloak and began to move my people once more, this time among them and not above them.

We wonder for days, weeks even. To be honest we lost track of time only with we knew was that we had grown as a people and were better for it. We knew as a people our dark history was not forgotten and never forgiven but was however behind us at last I could sleep peacefully at night without hearing the voice of the people I brought destruction too, simple because I felt the need that my people should of owned that land.

Finally we came to a new land far away where the hope of ever seeing "town" again were distant and far off until we had settled down and taken care of our sick and elderly first. We worked hard as a people and this time beside the local village. I became a hero in their eyes, as one night an army of zombies came knocking on their doors. I slaughtered this horde of undead and felt happy that I had done some good for these people, especially after my dark deeds in my past.

We thought all was safe and we frolicked in the fields enjoying a small celebration with the people of the village we came to know as Butter vile, boy were we wrong. That night this nightmarish creature came for the town, a creature of legend and not only legendary creature we would soon encounter. I single handedly slayed the zombie from depths hells, so deep it was on fire and immune to the wonders and magic’s of fire.

Once again we thought we were safe, no one celebrated that night as even though I have slayed the beast it was not without lose. it had gotten a few of the village children that were out playing in the fields, it was their screams that alerted me to the danger at hand and sadly I couldn’t save them in time. We were finally safe for a few nights, I set upon the towns scroll's looking for more information about these nightmarish creatures and came to learn that is just one of the legends were true how many more may be too?

One week to the day of the Enraged Zombies attack as dusk fell upon the land; it began to shake as if someone or something was walking towards us. Thankfully we have ample warning and got the village people to safety before IT came. My people Rose to arms, my best fighters and archers stood by my side in our godly armor that came from the heavens themselves for reason's unknown, at least until now.

  13. Part 3
This ungodly Creature that stood taller than the mountains slowly came towards the town as we stood our ground we began to pray to the block gods, hoping that had a place in their hearts for us that night if we fell. It was the Momentus of legend, one that I had read about in the scrolls and my mind began to race to thing all the others were true.

    -The battle of the Momentus-
We fought long and hard and struggled to keep the Monster and his enraged minions at bay, we pushed this to the ocean’s edge where we knew they had a hate of water and fought them there. It wasn’t just our gear but our strategy that saved us and the village that night. This beast had magical powers that still hunt my dreams to this day. Powers of summoning the undead at his will and teleportation, dragging us in to his range where he could get us as we would struggle to get back to a distance were we could fight yet feel some level thought that we would survive.

After hours of exhausting battle the beast fell and burned away in the morning sun leaving nothing behind but a strange vile of liquid that none of us dare drink, and a head of one of his minions that didn’t burn up with the rest for some odd reason. We plastered the hide on a pike to server as a warning to the undead hordes that this town had defenders now, and locked the vile away in the town crypts.

To this day we stand defending the village as we build our new homes upon the floating islands to the south, a few more creatures of the night have came to make attempts at the village including more fiery beast like skeletons who take aim and fight from a distance, Even hell hounds. The fiery wolves from the depths of hell that came from what we later found to be an indestructible portal leading to the nether lands of hell itself. Mutated Pickles that don’t blow up like their normal brethren but set fire to the land around that until slayed.

All the Creature have of legends of made an appearance beside the legendary Marlix. To which no description is given besides, RUN. Which is a description we would never follow. We hear tell of more outlandish creature that may exist by they lay forgotten in tombs longs lost. I have made it my mission to protect my people and the people of this land and to this day we do.

  14. I am an Obscure Item Farmer. It's true, I'm a farmer, but I don't farm regular things, like sugar cane, carrots, wheat, those sorts of things. I don't even farm Zombies, skeletons, or spiders from dungeons. I farm more Obscure things, such as beacons, mob heads, diamonds, wither skulls, beacons, gold, iron, my own head, beacons, creepers, music discs, squids, and beacons. Did I say beacons? Oh yes, and beacons. That sort of thing. You're probably thinking, "Oh, he just means killing mobs in the wild, hopping in to the ocean and killing squids, and going mining and finding diamonds". But I don't. I actually have farms for all of those. I mean enraged mobs falling to a collection point where I can kill them, while still doing most of the damage, and getting mob heads, diamonds, and shiny things. All while standing in the same room. Eventually, I hope to make every single Obscure farm possible, no matter how difficult it is!

I've watched as deserts once virgin slowly become faces of rock and sandstone, their faces now marred with pits of shadow that spawn the vilest things. I've been to outposts, towns and cities at their beginnings, peaks and downfalls. I witnessed people come into this world, flourish, and finally leave it. I've delved deep into the earth and lower in search of wealth, coming upon both profits and losses. I watched as EMC went from four servers, counting Utopia, servers to ten.

  18. Here's my more "detailed" story.

One day, a newly joined Legit got bored of the SMP3 town, and went out mining in the wild. After mining for a bit, I decided to do what every new played did, I walked to one of the outposts. Then I proceeded to walk to the other three outposts, and it was pretty much there, that I was done sitting in town all the time. I then went walking around in the wild to find a spot to set up a camp. Once I found a spot, I set up a house and a tiny farm, and lived alone there for a bit, before I decided too join the Delta Team, and made it a Delta base. After Cough-on-field was banned and the Delta Team disbanded, it became the first Wild Reach. The camp grew to have many members, with a few of them also being members of later camps. Right now, I'm working on my new project, Corssroads Union. Well, I will be, when my PC gets back from being fixed. The rest of my story is still being written. :D

The story of the sock monkey, aka the Beastly One begins here:

Christmas 2011, my brother and I both got Minecraft for PC from my wife. It was quite enjoyable to build things and I relied heavily on his knowledge of the game to learn the basics. Bored with playing alone, and unable to play Minecraft with him, I began the search for a server on which to play. I bounced around the internet, trying everything from faction servers to PVP worlds and nothing seemed to "fit" what I was looking for. Then, while sick as a dog on Valentines Day 2012, I happened upon the Empire. I signed up on the forums, copied the address for SMP1, and logged on. My brother followed suit that night, and we claimed lots right across the street from one another. We then scoured the internet for cool skins, and since his nickname is monkey, he became a monkey. Mine was a little more difficult. I too like monkeys, but figured I wouldn't and couldn't steal his skin...so I became a sock monkey. I had one as a kid and it went everywhere with me. I still have it to this day and plan on passing it down to my children..but I digress, back to the story

In order to start building our houses, we decided to first hit the shop, then adventure to the wild. We quickly found a road in the sky, climbed up to it and before long were a long ways from the spawn. It was then that we happened upon a certain member who, based on their member name, was either stinky, skanky, or some combination of both. I attempted to be friendly and chat, but he failed to respond and repaid my kindness by lighting me on fire and stealing all of my freshly obtained items. When he attempted the same thing on my brother, Madcrafter jumped from the bridge, falling to his demise when the ground beneath him failed to yield to his falling form. It was at this point I met JustinGuy, as I messaged him about the incident. Justin was nearly lit on fire as well, meaning he was a little pissed about the incident. He swung his mighty ban hammer on that member, similar to the way Thor vanquishes enemies with Mjolnir. I made some friends the first couple weeks on Empire. And I fell in love with the server. My Xbox360 & PS3 simply sat unused, gathering dust and cobwebs as my obsession became Minecraft.

    The Middle:
From there, the days on Empire seemed to all run together. My house on SMP1 went up. Then came Diamond Supporter status, and new houses were built. SMP8 & SMP9 were added, and I quickly claimed residences on each of the new SMPs. My brother and I began construction on a mansion on Utopia, as well as opened a shop on SMP9. My house on SMP1 remained my base of operations however and I continued to add to and improve it as much as possible. We'd have almost weekly diamond hunts that attracted many of the friends I've made on EMC. It was a ton of fun. New members would join and I'd always try to welcome them with a gift. I felt it was important to be kind to the new people. The people I met in my first few days were all very nice, and I figured I owed new members the same thing. Then, suddenly and without warning, most of my friends vanished without a trace. The diamond hunts failed to draw people and (to me...my opinion here) SMP1 became land of begging and constantly being harassed for being a supporter. Finally, after being told I should give someone rupees so they could buy something and that I was a supporter, so I "could afford it" I had had enough. A move was in order. I packed up all my belongings and took them to SMP8. I returned to SMP1, loaded my house with TNT and almost shed a tear as I climbed on the roof as the walls exploded around me.

    The End?
Living on SMP8 was pretty cool. Not as many people on it at that time. My new house went up pretty quickly and it was a different experience than SMP1. I was beginning to enjoy it when disaster struck. I lost my IRL job. The economy had taken a turn for the worse and my 2.5 years at the same company didn't mean anything as I was unceremoniously escorted from the building and dumped on the sidewalk with my personal possessions in a box and minus a retirement account. At least they sprung for the cost of the cardboard box I guess...
I immediately began to try and find work but it seemed everyone was in the same boat. Companies were firing instead of hiring. There was simply nothing to be found. My wife and I were faced with mounting bills and a decreasing bank account. The first thing to go was my Diamond Supporter status. I just couldn't justify it while we were struggling to pay for necessities like rent, food, heat, etc...
Then came the end of living in our own place. We were forced to move in with her family. And that family didn't have a reliable internet connection. So my Empire days quickly wound down. I couldn't sign in more than a couple times a month, then it became a couple times every few months, then it became never.
Self esteem is a funny thing and when you're seen as a failure you begin to feel that it's true. I lost interest in just about everything. Minecraft fell way down the list of my priorities and honestly I forgot about EMC.

    A New Beginning:
Alas, as Eric Draven states in The Crow, "It can't rain all the time." I finally found work. Certainly not the best job, but when it was revealed I'd be making more than I ever had before, I figured I could sacrifice a little. ;)
My life began to finally turn around. Through a friend, my wife & I found a small house in the country, something I'd wanted since I was a kid. We jumped on the opportunity to rent it when we found it was within our budget. Now we have deer, raccoons, the occasional lost elk wander through our property. We have space to breathe and a yard for our dogs to romp in. I began writing and have been pleasantly surprised by the results.
And then...a familiar itch began to return...the itch to play Minecraft. I thought long and hard about it before logging in on single player. After messing around for a bit, I {finally} got my internet up and going and returned to EMC. I figured my houses were gone, and I guessed correctly. My mansion on Utopia was never finished and was simply a pile of doors. My shop/house and all my supplies from SMP9 were lost. And yet my house on SMP8 still stood. So I added a couple farms, some villager trading, continued building the house and have enjoyed being back.

So where does my story end? I don't think it ever does. I get on as much as possible and can usually be found roaming either the Wastelands or Frontier on SMP8. These days I'm not in town much. I may spend a little time there, usually to try and finish some unfinished project or just to drop off my claimed items from my adventures, reload my supplies, and then I'm off again. As long as Empire continues to grow and add cool features, perks, mobs, etc...I'll be around.

But can someone explain to me how I can never find an enraged creeper except for when I'm out of arrows (or minus bow) and on the ground, not safe? Always the case...I think it's a conspiracy! :D
