I currently play the following games. Each spoiler does have some basic info about the game. Unless I state otherwise, I play it on the PC. I play Minecraft, obviously, or I wouldn't even be here. It's a game where you have to grow a city on a piece of land, and you have different modes to do so in. Be careful, because traffic jams suck and I haven't been able to manage them yet. Multiple different versions are available; I play the one from 2013. It's like SimCity in many ways and has the same concept; however, you only have one city, instead of an entire group of cities, and there are more types of roads available (which also means better traffic management). Graphics are better because the game is newer. This is a game where you start with a randomly generated, empty map (the game uses seeds), as well as a few families, and you have to survive by producing enough food, firewood, housing, tools, medicine, etc. for everyone and working around the different seasons. Graphics are better because the game is newer. This is a complicated game and has very good graphics, so it's not recommended for beginners or laggy PCs. Your goal is to make more money than you spend by transporting cargo between industries to be processed, then once processed enough, into towns/cities, and/or passengers from their home to work and/or shop. Traffic and budget management are difficult, but not impossible, and they get harder on higher difficulties. You can also build roads, railroads, airports, etc. to aid in transportation, and towns connected to transportation lines are more likely to grow into cities. Once you begin the game, you arrive in an empty town and have to make your first Sim. Soon, you also have to make a second Sim. Higher levels mean more Sims, items, and crops are unlocked; you have to buy most things with Simoleons, Lifestyle Points, and Social Points (the in-game currencies). There are different quests at different levels, as well as discovery quests and a weekly quest (and if you connect the game to Facebook, a social quest). This is only one sequel of the famous, multi-sequel game Luxor. It is an Egyptian-themed game where you have to make matches of three or more same-colored spheres to destroy them. If the spheres enter your pyramid, you lose a life! As you level up or raise the difficulty, the spheres move faster and there are more colors! The concept is the same as that of Luxor; the difference is that it's themed around bugs in neighborhood lawns instead of spheres in ancient Egypt. Read about Luxor (above) to find more information. There is also a sequel, Tumblebugs 2, which I also play. Your main goal is to find the 7 magic fish by breeding fish in the right combinations. There is more than one approach to beat the game, but they all require many extra steps. This takes place on an island called Isola. When starting the game, you arrive upon a mysterious, ruined island called Isola, with a few villagers there confused and disoriented. Your goals are to help the villagers survive and reproduce, while figuring out the 16 mysteries of Isola (some require others to figure out). This is a sequel to the game Feeding Frenzy. You arrive in an ocean as a fish, your goal being to eat any fish that are smaller than you and avoid any that are larger than you. If a larger fish or a shark eats you, you lose a life. There's also a story along the way if you decide to play, but I'm not going to spoil the fun! American Truck Simulator (details waiting) Wildlife Park Tycoon 3 (details waiting) So, what other games do you all play?
Uhhmm... I play minecraft, and usually a lot... next to that I play minecraft... and minecraft... aMore seriously: There is one other game I play when I'm not playing minecraft: Onigiri, It's a free game I know via my little sister. It's a slow-combat game that is really good if you're disinspired and to tiered to do anything, anyway for me
Lol, this is really going to make me feel different, because I play games for younger kids. Clash Royale Geometry Dash Animal Jam Minecraft (Only for Empire ) Town Of Salem This looks like a really good thread! I feel like a lot of players can connect this way! If anyone plays any of these games I'm actually pretty decent in all of them. (Well, maybe not Empire )
Payday 2 Half-Life (1, 2, 2ep1, 2ep2) Portal (1, 2) Life Is Strange The Stanley Parable The Beginner's Guide Mirror's Edge (this and catalyst) And very rarely, CSGO
Cool! I always play Re-Volt. I mean, I don't always play it, but since 2015, when I found out there was a fan-made patch available to make Re-Volt work on newer pc's, I haven't forgotten about the game for longer periods of time. At the very least I'd follow the release of new tracks. Since joining the Discord community in December 2016, I've also always played Re-Volt frequently. I like checking out new tracks, I like racing online against others, and I like racing split-screen with my brother. On Game Boy, I currently play Madagascar for GBA. I played it as a kid, but I never 100%ed it, and I decided to start all over, to get the full experience. It's much better than I remembered it to be! I have almost overtaken my old save file. Actually, I think you could say I have already, but the percentage counter is still just a bit lower. On home consoles, I am playing Mario Kart Wii, I think; that's what I've played for a while, as I wanted to continue beating the game on my new license (created after the installation of CTGP Revolution, after Nintendo WFC's shutdown). However, since the Christmas vacation, I haven't actually been at my mother's for long enough to get to play... you see, I don't have a tv at my own home, so I have to play Wii, Wii U and N64 at my parental home. I'll try to get a tv at my own room during the summer vacation!
I see a mix of games are popular around here, primarily micromanagemer simulators, widgets, puzzles, struggling to climb to the top, and story-heavy walking simulators, and first-person whatevers. :^) Meanwhile on the other side of games, I actually prefer run-and-guns, shmups, platformers, and dungeon cralwers; and almost exclusively in 2d. I'm also a big fan of customization and variety in playstyles for all this. This is why some of my most played (and favorite) modern games on Steam include Magicmaker, Rogue Legacy, Duck Game, Witch-Bot Meglilo, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Shoot Many Robots, Unepic, Khimera, Monolith, Super Star Path, Strikey Sisters, and Gauntlet. My older favorite games include, unsurprisingly, Megaman 8, Castlevanias 1, 4, and Symphony of the Night, Dungeon Siege 1, Platypus 1, The Raiden Project, Progear, Super Turrican 2, Contra 3, and Super Chou Aniki. I used to enjoy RPGs and sandboxes much more, and personal gems of the genre included Skyrim (Mod it till it crashes, and punch EVERYTHING!) Legends of Legaia, Monstania, The Desolate Hope, Dungeons and Dragons at a local game store, and Arc The Lad 1. I used to work on my own rpg in RPG Maker 2003, but it's been on hold for school and already-made games. :L If y'all ever want to try and play something together, hit me up on Steam at http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/Bechstein/ , or on Discord at Bechstein#8134. I have a lot of games, back when I was a games reviewer and journalist, so you may be surprised to see what we have in common.
My library is extensive, but I regularly play: Rocket League F1 2017 Town of Salem (have stopped playing because of the community and lack of dev response) Cuphead PUBG Terraria Grand Theft Auto V The Talos Principle
Hmm. So would it be a list of games you play currently? Or all games you have that you enjoy playing? Or both? xD Cuz my list might be a bit big then.
They should have a new gamemode, the troll mode. You go there to gamethrow and spam, and then if you want to ACTUALLY play the game you go to the other modes. You should say that.
World of Warships. I would play something from Steam but I haven't gotten around to buying anything yet... (besides, my computer can't handle The Long Dark so what's the point...)
There are some decent low-intensity free-to-play games hiding out on Steam, including Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Khimera: Destroy All Monster Girls, Fistful of Frags, and, uhh... there are also a lot of free RPG Maker projects out there that are actually alright, like Huntress in the Hollow.
Interesting, very interesting. So some games I play that are not Minecraft are the following: Pokemon (can't say a specific game because I'm always cycling through them) Ark Survival Evolved (I generally stick to 1 server at a time, and right now, that server is a Aberrations one) Undertale Niche - a genetics survival game Plague Inc
Hm... I played quite some games I think, so here's a list of ones I played the most I guess. The only games I actually played before Minecraft are Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart (double dash). Then I got into minecraft. Oh boi, did I play a lot of minecraft. I also liked playing Terraria alot, but eventually I kinda got to the point where there was not alot to accomplish anymore, so I kinda stopped playing. Eventually I got hooked on to ARK, but because of all the lag, and the need of constantly hopping on to take care of your dino's (since time doesnt stop when you log off), I stopped playing it after a while. I started playing Geometry Dash, which is a music/reaction game that uses just 1 button. Dont ask me how, but that is actually my most played steam game with a whopping 1150 hours. I look back now to that era and I wonder wheter I had a stroke or something, but it was fun while I played it . After that, I got into overwatch. I am not good at it, but it is fun . I still play overwatch quite frequently. And I started playing minecraft again, but actually only for EMC, I dont play on other servers or singleplayer . Other games I have played quite alot (but without getting as addicted to them like the games above): GTA V Ori and the Blind Forest DE (<-- Actually my favourite game ever, a very nice and fun to play platformer, but sadly once you 100% the game there isnt really alot to do :/). Garrys Mod Battleblock Theater (one of the most fun games to play with friends) Planetary annihilation Portal & Portal 2 Sanctum & Sanctum 2 Lego Harry Potter (all years) Various reaction-based games like cytus, super meat boy, elektronic super joy etc. To sum up, I really like platformers and skill-based games, but most of those games eventually run out of content and stuff to do. That is why I am still hooked on to minecraft I guess, because there is always something you can do/try to accomplish PS: After reading my post I feel like an addict xP
Consoles, blah, even Minecraft = Blah on consoles... = ) Old days about everything from fps, rts, mmo, etc... Saw a SimCity, played from first to 3000 lots. ...but more recently mostly on computer, Minecraft or World of Warcraft with the occasional Civilization V. I do play some slim amounts of World Series of Poker Holdem and a fair amount of Clash of Clans on the phone. Out, have fun no matter what you do and do it on. Find a friend or family member to take along. For me Mincecraft isn't 100% in my style but I do enjoy it and I've found my family will all play it from time to time to.
Bf4 Far Cry 4 Minecraft Slime Rancher Car Mechanic Simulator NFS: Payback Blops 2 All on Xbox 1, except Minecraft and CMS Waiting on Crackdown 3.
Woah, I had expected no more posts any time soon, and two at most. And now there are 12. Why not? So I really think it's the first. Bechstein_ probably misinterpreted the thread, or wanted an excuse to talk about his favourite games, without making a thread for it. I am intrigued by this. Do you start from the beginning every time? How much do you play before moving on to the next? Do you ever skip a title, or go the wrong way around? Do you only play the main-series games? How do you mean, even Minecraft? Minecraft was on pc a long time before it was on console, and it's a game that almost everyone uses the keyboard and mouse for, when playing on pc. What made you think it's remarkable that Minecraft, of all games, would be better on pc?
So I really only play the main series entries, I enjoy the formula they use when playing through those games. The order I originally went about playing the games was alittle weird just because I haven't had the opportunity to buy all the games in their respective order, so plain and simple I did skiped some of them. Every time I start up one of the games I always start from the beginning, that is due in part to what I do when playing through the games. As for how much I play through before moving to the next game in line, that is determined by how far I can get to within the challenge I always attach to most of my playthroughs (hopefully you are aware of what a Nuzlocke is). I tend to play the games multiple times over changing a few things that I do.
