What is your favorite band that you think no one would know?

  8. My favourite bands are Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Pink Floyd, and Imagine Dragons. I like some songs by the Beatles (I have to like them - they're the only good thing my city has given the world since the 1940s :p). Obviously - they're all quite popular, so they're not really valid in this thread :p

    Although... are Coldplay 'big' in the US? In the UK they quite often get into the top charts and they're quite popular here.

    Since your heading is asking explicitly for a band i guess TAK isnt qualifying - but he does some very entertaining stuff i love to listen to

  10. Coldplay is very well known here-They have a chart topper every 3-4 months, but atleast where I live and on SAT radio, it's not played very frequently.

    For alternative, check out Oxford and co. Their music is really cool too and they are my favorite band right now.

  17. Just wondering, any of y'all know the band "My Chemical Romance"? It was pretty well known in the 2000s, but I'm not so sure about now.

    My currently favorite band would be the Protomen. Here's are some good introduction songs:

    Most of their songs are all differently styled, but collectively make up a rock opera very loosely based on Mega Man. They also did some covers of 80s music and did a live album of Queen covers if that's your thing.

    Props to anyone who's heard of Magic Man as well.
