Plus as I know humanity has began evolve faster and be able to think and find solutions to problems. So being a vegetarian isn't something that nice. No offence to anyone
Someone is going to make this counter-point, so I might as well save some time and counter it. "When we were eating meat naturally, we were 'cavemen', so to speak. Now that we have developed and evolved into a more environmentally conscious species, we owe it to the animals not to mistreat them." That point is utterly WRONG. Just because we are a little bit more evolved than we were doesn't mean that our nutritional needs have changed drastically. Like kilmannan said, meat and/or animal products are essential to human well-being, and we are omnivores by nature. Just because it's been a few thousand years doesn't mean we can just stop eating meat.
