  1. Just a note, I made a couple of changes to the above post.

There has been some confusion regarding claiming of plots. Therefore I have created some restrictions and guides regarding plot claiming, all of that can be found below.

    Claiming a Plot
    • To claim a plot you must contact the respective person. These people can be found below.
    • This person can only assign you a plot inside their respective city.
    • You do not require a permit to build on your plot unless "the building plans to be higher than the height limit for the area, they are located in a rural or non zoned area or they plan to break any of the following restrictions."
    • Permits may only be granted by mba2012.
    Who to contact regarding claims.

    • For Inizio - L0tad
    • For Wrem - Dean_Catterson
    • For any other location - mba2012
All of the above is provisional and is subject to change without notice.
  2. Mba, what are the height limits of said plots(all grades). Also what are the size limits of said plots(all grades) as well?
  3. All plots are differ in sizes. Height limits and plot sizes are for the mayor of the town to decide upon.

Also, I think Inizio requires a mayor. Or shall we name L0tad the mayor? And will the Mayor of each city be included in the government?
  4. Now...arguments start up. Divisions begin to happen. However, will the nation survive?
Still, this is how nations grow. In a way.
Anyway, what should I do next?
I found enough ores to make me happy.
    Any ideas?
  5. Alright simple enough, but at the same time wouldn't you want a city pretty much uniform in the plots to make them look appealing?

Think we should vote on mayors of all cities. Let the citizens choice you know.
  6. So in a sense for the people by the people. Sounds good to me :D
  7. This revolution started ovenight and has had radical effects. On monday I call for a debate and possibly a vote on build restrictions. They simply cannot be passed overnight, have you guys even consulted holly with your dissatisfaction? Also Wrem isn't even communist! It is socialist but most policies haven't even been implemented yet. I will NOT let the rules become too leniant, it will destroy the city! I think a referendum is more suitable at this time.

  8. What do you mean? The nature of the game is to build and mine. So I am accommodating this. If you want to have complete control over what blocks and how many of them can be placed, go make another outpost where people want to not be able to unleash creativity.

  10. That is why I made Wrem, mba. When given freedom some players will ruin the look of the city. Wrem is a tiny area within EMC. Surely if you did want full creativity, you would choose any spot in the rest of the 99.999999999999% of land on the server?

  11. I like being bossed around by a dictator...
  12. ok, i know there has been some objections about my actions as mayor ..... Brickstrick !!. the only reason i left a sign at your property was because there were not enough torches and there were mobs on site, koenjanssen is my proof. Also i am aware that there were anti-socalist riots in wrem, but i have dealt with the damage and raised all the wremian flags which were taken down.
  13. i only put a warning on
how dare you !!! .... the only reason I put a sign on your home was because there were mobs in side and around your house, I had to kill 3 zombies .... I realize the house was not finished but, someone has been annoying me with signs on my industrial plot, when they can clearly see that it is not finished either !!
  14. i agree
  15. What's all this talk of protests and demonstrations?
The New Republic was created to create the best of Minecraft multiplayer on the EMC platform using social, political and economic systems which have been tried and tested in the real world to work.
As SparerToaster put it, "if we all take over the wild, that'd be A+." And I intend to do that.
All 'violent protests' will be punished by Napoleon as he sees fit, without any glorification of the events as protests, riots, demonstrations or anything of the like, it is simple hooliganism.
There will be no flags deposed, national or ideological. National flags which are deposed would amount to racism, and ideological flags, such as the communistic flag of Wrem, if deposed would amount to simple unintelligent hatred, done out of an inability to articulate how one disagrees with a concept; such antiintellectual crimes will be punished as such.
Any other issues surrounding the land permits will be handled with a political process as normal. There will be no protests, no demonstrations. No political circumstance will justify any crime.

This is the New Republic, not Northern Ireland. Dissident attacks will not be acknowledged. More importantly, I will make sure the spirit of teamwork still exists, and it will not fail so long as I am head of government and state of the New Republic.
  16. In the New Republic, we are supposed to be founding a wild community based off of friendliness, intelligence, teamwork, and of course lava walls. But these protests and riots completely defy our set of standards. It is not that I do not approve of protests. I am glad to see people exercising their freedom of speech, but some these are metaphorically crossing the line. Having an anti-Communist protest, even when Wrem is not communist. Putting up random signs, with things like "The people are watching you" or "The people run this city" that do not make any sense at all and only fuel a deficient cause to undermine the Neorepublican government is borderline griefing. Tearing down any sort of flag, city, nation, or other, is a disgrace to anyone and everyone who is connected with that flag. Breaking a national flag is simple racism, and tearing down a symbolic flag (like Wrem's city flag) is simple, utter, griefing.

Like Volt said, this is the New Republic, not Northern Ireland. We cannot have this nation split apart simply because of a protest.

  17. MBA, DEAN, BOTH AND ALL OF YOU

Chill, we need to sit down soon and work this out over. I say we have a meeting in a week, in wern, to debate our options. I also ask the Milita, to start organised patrols around Wern, Izoino, and all roads to and form our island, and the nature preserve.

We just started, lets not let something as silly as a deputes over building codes rip us apart

  18. Ok I think we should open a court case into the riots to find and punish those involved. The Socialist Party will continue managing Wremian affairs. Period.

Hollyhill105 will see out his term as mayor, which ends on June 8th (muh birthday). Period.

Building regulations will continue in the same form as they have been in since Wrem was established. Period.

I hereby denounce all those involved in the protests. It was disgustingly disrespectful. These fear mongers also posted eerie messages throughout the city in an attempt to stir up tension. The protests themselves were utterly unnecessary. There is no problem in Wrem. It is currently EMC's most lively city, this is no accident. This is due to the careful planning behind it and the support of locals who are keen to enforce local laws, I must thank these people, the cities success wouldn't be possible without you. Unfortunately your good grace has been overshadowed by the actions of a minority. I call for unity against the actions of the offenders from all Neorepublicans. I have faith that our justice system will fairly punish them for their actions.

The rules in Wrem will stay the same for the simple reason that there is nothing wrong with them.
There will be elections for the town council in the near future, I am unable to provide exact details at this time. It will simply be to spread out responsibilities for local issues a bit.
    Thanks for reading.
  19. When horses come out, I'm leaving the NR. I didn't protest because I wasn't on at the time :p
Any protester who is fed up with all this nonsense may join me. Either that, or consider the Rebelitionist party formed.
  20. What 'nonsense'? And what is this Rebelitionist Party?
