    • "let's just ignore what happened last episode, who cares if the capital city of a country got destroyed by an army of the dead, and Arya killed it"
    • what are they doing with Bronn lol
    • Ghost survived the Battle of Winterfell only to get absolutely butchered in a single scene by the writers
    • seriously just pet the god damn dog
    • pet it, Jon, really, what are you doing, you dumb cretin, you fool, you absolute buffoon, you bumbling idiot. Screw you.
    • SANSA, ARYA, I'M A TA-
    • TYRION, JON IS A TA-
    • "We didn't know how to write this scene, so we jump cut it"
    • Holy bad dialogue Batman
    • Are you sure you'd like to fast travel to Dragonstone?
    • Do scouts still exist in Westeros or did they just yeet them out of existence? I'm rewatching Season 1 atm and scouts are quite prominent in that, so by Season 8 where have they all gone?
    • RHAEGAL GOT SURPRISE KILLED BY PHYSICS-DEFYING SCORPION BOLTS FIRED FROM A FLEET DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF LITERALLY EVERYONE THAT WAS ALSO IN VIEWING DISTANCE ON A SUNNY DAY LMAAAOOOO
For many years, it has been easy to ignore the fact that one of the Game of Thrones writers is directly responsible for inflicting the multi-generational-inbred grotesque monster that is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but no longer lol

Two years to make these episodes and they can't even patch up plot holes or pay attention to detail

Thank the Old Gods and the New that there's only two episodes left... surely they can't screw this show up any more than they already have, right?

  1. Those parts I was very annoyed too cause I wanted to see reaction from at least Arya and Sansa. Tyrion would have been priceless but cutting away was easy cop out for the writers.

Bron is lost character for most part till the end. I bet going killed saying one of the brothers then saying "I all wanted was a damn castle."

I do like how made Dany feel when everyone in the Winterfell's Main Hall was surround Jon telling he's a true hero king and etc..

    Also RIP Tormund Heartbreak
His feelings being broke is bigger than Night King dying. The man just wanted a women of his dreams.... A giant!!! lol
  2. I am not 100% sure Sansa told Tyrion. Maybe offscreen Dany confided with her closest advisers (Tyrion, Varys, Greyworm and Missandei) with Sam, Jon, Bran and Dany making the eight they know who know.
This could also mean that Cersi now knows too.
  3. that giant good boi deserved a freaking hug. jon is a *massive swear word*

    whatever jon. what. ever.
THAT DOG LOST AN EAR AND SURVIVED THAT FIGHT BY HIMSELF WHEN THOSE RAKI ALL DIED BESIDE HIM AND YOU COULDN'T EVEN FLIPPING PET THE DOG?! GET THE HELL OFF MY SCREEN JON.
LETS NOT FLIPPING FORGET HOW MANY TIMES THAT DOG SAVED YOU ITS ENTIRE FREAKING LIFE AND YOU FREAKING NOD AT IT AND WALK AWAY!? WHUT THE LITERAL HELL.

  4. I saw him turning his back on Tormund and Ghost as a metaphor for him turning his back on his roots and going with Dany to take the Iron Throne
  5. "Sir, come take a look at this."

    "What is that?"

    "It's a Starbucks cup, Sir."

"Right. I'll go check with the executive team to see what they want doing with this cup. You keep up your fine work."

    "Thank you, Sir."

*beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep*

"Hi, I hope you're having a good day, listen... we've got a problem."

    "What is it?"

"Right, well... you know that important scene, about the battle plans?"

    "Yes."

"Right, well... Emilia left a Starbucks cup on the table."

    "Interesting."

"Yes, I was just wondering if we can edit it out."

"We have two days until the episode is out."

"Yes, but it won't take more than a few h-"

    "No."

    "But people will notice i-"

    "I said no."

"Sir... the memes. The fans... they will mock this for years to come."

    "Let them."

"It will take a few hours, really."

"WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS."

    *blank stare*

*blank stare on the other side of the phone*

"Right well, have a lovely day."

  6. Sansa definitely told Tyrion. Jon had Bran tell Arya and Sansa, which makes the eight Dany, Jon, Bran, Sam, Arya, Sansa, Tyrion, and Varys, with Sansa having told Tyrion and Tyrion telling Varys. Dany wanted it kept a secret, so she definitely wouldn't have told her advisors... which is also why she begged Jon not to tell anyone.

Jon, of course, is a damn moron. Jon's telling Sansa is proof to me that he would make an immensely poor ruler unless Varys were alive to manipulate him as he saw fit. He has no sense of logic or strategy whatsoever. And by Melisandre's prophecy, Varys won't quite be around, sadly, so Jon absolutely cannot have the Iron Throne if the Kingdoms are to prosper.

As of now, it looks like Dany is going to die. I suspect Varys will be somehow involved in a murder attempt and it will cost him his life. My hope, however, is that this proves a failure and Dany ascends to her throne as the Mad Queen, breaking the wheel at the cost of countless lives (including some of her own allies). It would be fitting. God, do I love her. If not Dany, I don't know who else could rule... anyone but her or Jon seems anticlimactic, and god knows I couldn't stand Sansa as ruler.
  7. Speaking of that, I hope to God that isn't democracy.

Democracy requires an enlightened society. And it requires a society that won't vote for strongmen - for example, 1870s Germany was happy with Otto Von Bismarck uniting Germany through conquest and pragmatism. Germany was happy with Kaiser Wilhelm II taking on the United Kingdom in an arms race and gaining colonies abroad and fighting the combined forces of the UK, France, Russia, and Italy all at once. A socialist revolution brought democracy to Germany, and they ended up turning to nationalist and communist uprisings when the line-walking democracy and international co-operation brings took away their strongmen leaders. That is how they ended up split between communism and fascism and elected Adolf Hitler - a strongman. The exact same thing happened in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Successful democracies are eased into it. England started to develop democracy when it codified the basis of its constitution, the parliament system evolved out of that according to the monarch of the day's needs, eventually sapped some power off the monarch, was perfected through four civil wars between parliament and the monarchy, eventually allowed only rich people to vote, did not have any set rules until the mid-1800s, and thanks to the Labour Party/socialist movement and the feminist movement sweeping the country and presenting the Liberal Party with evidence (and pressure... they knew what happened to France a century before that) that the people were informed enough to vote... granted most men and some women the vote in 1918. It wasn't until the mid-1930s that everyone was allowed to vote - 800 years after parliament/democracy began its creation. In the past three years the UK has rejected the notion of turning the Prime Minister into the 'President of the US'-style role that it was turning into, and has learned that we should never ever hold a referendum ever again. That's part of the evolution. It doesn't just... happen.

Even the Thirteen Colonies developed a taste for democracy by being a mostly self-governing colony, and obviously for a while the 'colony run for the colonists' worked until the colonists decided they wanted to change the for to by.

Democracy does not happen because someone wants to 'break the wheel'.

I really, really hope that that line refers to something similar to the Magna Carta or implementing some actual checks and balances on the throne's power, and not giving the millions of stupids in Westeros a vote.
  8. Since Gendry has been legitimatised then he is now third in line to the throne behind Jon and Dany.

  9. Gendry Baratheon becoming King will be the thing that pushes me over the edge to considering Season 7 and Season 8 as glorified fanfiction, and I will make my own ending.
