  1. Ooooh! A "free" economy and full natural rights? Based off of your other posts;)
  2. You're close, quite close :)

  3. Okay, I see everyone's point and I've decided I shall not go ahead with the Empire Union. Instead, I shall create another group, a reclusive, introverse community of economists, diplomats and artisans, all based in the Wild. This shall be my final project I attempt, and there's no clear reason I can see that this one would characterize me as power hungry, as anyone who wishes to join this society makes the choice to opt in to my leadership as per their wish.

I'll appeal with a thread about it tommorrow, it's difficult to post on my phone.
  4. Close this thread and make a new thread of your new idea. I might join it.

  5. So, saying you wanted to make a large lava wall around the SMP5 wild, and charging people to get though, was going to help me?

    BWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHALOLOLOLOLOLYeahno.

First off, you can do this, I always wanted to do something like this, but just in the wild, and only with my camps, but this would never work. Taking that any wild locations would have to be given to you and the other members, greifings would be off the chart. What about those in town and the wild who DON'T want to be part of this? Would they just keep going normally, or would they have to work around you? If someone in my wild camp joined this, would my camp become part of this?

  6. Just a suggestion, dont make the post too overwhelming! Be short and concise, get your point across. Also, if you want to be successful in creating a wild community, stay away from smp9 and smp7, as they both already have large groups, which would make it hard for you to attract others.

  7. SMP8 might work, I've never seen ANYONE from SMP8.
  8. *cough* tshack235 *chough*

I forgot what his program was called...
  9. this is just another group that someone sets up and then asks the people to pay rupees then these people will just give up or get banned

  10. Trust me, if the post was long it would defeat the purpose of the society.
  11. This would also work since he lives in town on SMP7. He could still be able to mess with his Res on 7 and go to the wild on another server instead of going back and forth. Plus as you said, 7 and 9 already have huge groups.

    Welcome Noob To The Server!

The very next day go to his res. You will see his "store".

  18. Seeing how the EU is a huge communist group created by a massive grief party leader...

  19. After reading that whole long "thing" , it wouldn't necessarily work out because I doubt anyone has that type of dedication to a union on here. The only game where this union idea survives is EVE. Getting back to topic - too many flaws with funding/income, manipulation is way to easy which follows with corruption which lead to bans or destroyed relations, no references to what it would be like so nobody really knows how to run it except you, too hard to manage every base you put on each server because everyone has to be up to date with any changes, already has tons of negative feedback, start small before you go global, run test results.

There really just isn't any point to making/join it as far as the word "income" goes. If people want to join a wild union, they'd start their own or join some of the existing free of charge wild communities. It was a well thought out idea to be honest but you advertising it to the wrong crowd. That includes me. Just no interest in this "idea".

  20. I just wonder again and again how little people (here) know what they are talking about.
(Not specifically you two I've quoted.)

You could read a bit, at least from Wikipedia and inform yourself about properties of
"socialist"/"communist" states and economies (which, BTW, Nazi Germany was as
well - surprised?) before calling those names.
And at least something basic about economy and politics.
There are many surprises waiting for you.

I know your teachers won't really go to great lengths to explain you the realities
    - probably about 95% because they don't know better and 5% because they
would be too embarrassed. One has to learn a great deal himself.

I won't start history / politics / economy classes on EMC. Just want to tell you -
nothing is as it seems on the surface. You need to learn, learn, learn from different
sources (reading books and talking to well educated older people, about age 50-80
helps) and think, think, think yourself to see beyond this twisting and distorting,
oversimplifying, misrepresenting and perverting surface, beyond those tempting
coward explanations. I'm getting too poetic ... hope you get the point. :)

This is just a game, but given it's basic properties and interaction between people,
it is a simulation of a world / of a society. Human nature and great deal of
natural laws (I don't mean physics but the social, economy and politic part)
are - naturally - the same as in RL. IMO, ignoring that ruins the game and
    the community.

PS: Too many postings above, especially when ridiculing other people and
ideas, insinuating and imputing - are rude. Please don't be rude. Perhaps it
can seem amusing at first, but this amusement is bitter. It's wrong. And it
    leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.
