Update on me in game. I tried out several mods optimizing for memory but as you can see the bottleneck seems to be the old onboard graphics chip here.


The 7 fps is while not moving, on low settings using mods to make it run with few memory. Texture pack is sphax but in the 16px version. I am not having anything run except MC (on linux I can even shutdown my desktop etc).
I tried my smp3 res too, got like 12fps there.

Hi. I would like to join Last Light Outpost. My project is to make a few houses around LLO and maybe make a district/town. And that is the reason why I would like to join LLO.

So do you think you can TRY to make it to the LLOlympics?

I can try but I won't be able to move or do much at that framerate. Esp when many people are around I expect it to drop even more or freeze.
But I can try.

There are some settings I can try. Last resort would be the windows XP that came with this refurbished office computer. The java there might be better at using the small intel gpu chip. But then it would have less memory and I have too reboot to that aweful OS and worry about making it somewhat safe enough to connect to a minecraft server

Anyways…MUHAHAHAHAHAHA…I'm not sure if making the mine race too hard is good that I made a challenge, or so hard no one can beat it.
So far, lava traps and water elevators are ready, and I'm getting ready for the anvil/piston traps. Any other ideas?
Of course I will warn the competitors death is quite possible.
