[OFFICIAL] THE JINSUE EMPIRE [ACCEPTING IMMIGRATION]

Discussion in 'Frontier and Player Outposts' started by CheckDFX, Aug 3, 2017.

  1. Welcome to the Jinsue Empire!

We are an established Nation of about 20 plus players and growing. We are located in the eastern wilderness of SMP1, some distance away, but not too far from the "10,000 East" Wilderness Spawn Outpost. We are constantly looking for new members as we solidify our existing borders, grow our infrastructure, and continue to expand.

Our outlook is an ambitious one, with large builds and infrastructure that can be a challenge to any builder. We have a great level of organization and teamwork, with top notch builders and Redstone engineers, and are searching for more citizens to help build our nation. Housing is free, and there are many public facilities (both established and planned) that we have to help new citizens get a good start.

We take pride in our infrastructure, with roads that span across an entire continent, intercity smart railways (the first of its kind in the Minecraft community), public stables and barns, public farms, buoys for naval navigation, a huge automated central warehouse center, auto farms, and our own resident restaurant chain run by one of our very own citizens.

Our neighbours to the north, across the ocean, are the Saturnians, with whom we have good relations and aim to keep it that way. It is thanks to the Saturnians, that we have a simplified way to get to the Jinsue Empire by both rail and boat, through Saturnia, for over half a year, before we finally established our own nether rail system. (Please respect the Saturnians and their builds during your travels through their lands.)

We have our own Discord Server [which is also called "Jinsue Empire"], that we all coordinate and keep in touch on. (We have even been honoured to have a few EMC staff members join us there.)

Our official Imperial Banner is shown below....

Imperial Rules of the Jinsue Empire
1.) All server rules apply. Listen to both staff and the leaders of the Jinsue Empire while you are in the Jinsue Empire.

2.) Our entire nation has an Ancient East-Asian style theme. All buildings within the Jinsue Empire must be in an ancient East-Asian style on the outside, and all buildings (especially pre-built homes) must maintain their existing structure. Do not veer away from this theme. (Medieval builds, for instance, are not allowed, as well as other builds that are not of the ancient East-Asian variety. Ancient East-Asian means only old Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Cambodian, and Thai builds, as well as ancient buildings from other nations around the region of these real-world countries. Fantasy builds are not allowed.) Interior decorating of personal homes may be conducted as each player desires, so long as these building rules are followed.

3.) New builds must be completed in creative mode and shown to the Emperor of the Jinsue Empire (the nations official main leader) for approval before they are built in survival on Empire Minecraft. This allows for feedback on player builds that permit improvements, and make working in survival easier, with fewer mistakes.

4.) New approved builds must have a schematica schematic of them made and placed in the "#schematica_schematics" text channel on our Discord Server. This is done so that others can come help you build your home, or to help with a public build, as a team. Adding a screenshot of your build with your schematica schematic in Discord, also gives a preview of the build.

5.) Do not place builds right next to each other. The Jinsue Empire makes good use of its land, by providing spacious landscapes to its citizens.

6.) Do not build private farms or animal pens without prior approval from the Jinsue Empire's Emperor or the Shogun of your town.

7.) Private railways are not allowed, as these cross off individual residential plots and into neighbouring plots of both other residents and public buildings. Any private railroads found under the home of any structure that does not belong to player who built the railroad will be subject to removal or obstruction, at the Emperor's objective discretion. Only public railroads are allowed to traverse under multiple plots.

8.) Access to locked public facilities cannot be provided to new citizens until they have actively shown they are trustworthy for a minimum of 30 days from the date of their arrival in the Jinsue Empire, and if their status in the Jinsue Empire allows it. New citizens will require the assistance and supervision of a Jinsue Elite (either a leader, minister, or a citizen who holds a very good, high standing in the Empire) in order to gain access to locked facilities. Certain facilities may only be accessed by Jinsue Elites or even just certain Jinsue Leaders, depending on the facilities' security level.

9.) All new ideas must be discussed with the Emperor for approval before they can be implemented. This is to ensure that our nation stays organized and beautiful, and does not turn into a hodgepodge state.

10.) Mud huts and shacks are a not allowed within the Jinsue Empire. Nicely built houses are the minimum.

11.) 1x1 towers and 1x1 holes are not allowed. Landscape griefing is not allowed

12.) All members of the Jinsue Empire must join our Discord server, so as to keep updated at the least. You are not required to speak aloud in our voice channels (although you are encouraged to), but when playing with other players, we do ask that you listen in at the least. If you are too shy to talk, you can listen and reply via text.

13.) All ranks are given to players by the Emperor and/or the Emperor's Heir [who is second to the Emperor]. High-level, Elite or Leader ranks can only be assigned by the Emperor at the Emperor's discretion. Assignments are based on a player's proof of ethic, skill and maturity. Leader ranks also require a certain level of organization and good leadership skills.

14.) The Emperor may add to these rules or change them as they see fit, based on prior experience or lessons learned.

Here are a few pictures of some of our early builds.

  2. The Jinsue Empire now has its own Nether Rail leading directly from the Southern Frontier Spawn Outpost to the future site of Jinsue City (which is under development and still in a town status). This has shortened the trip from Spawn to the Jinsue Empire, from around 15 minutes, to roughly 4 minutes.

As usual, new Immigrants are welcome, as we could use all the help we can get on our future builds.

Contact me here or in game (on SMP1) in to find out how you can join us.

  3. The Iron Forge Tower is going up in Hegang

Due to issues with the Iron Pheonix design, this simpler, yet towering, iron golem farm is replacing the Jinsue City iron forge design as the Jinsue Empire's first ever primary source of renewable iron. The originally planned large scale build had a much better output in theory, but demonstrated some design issues in practice.

Built in the town of Hegang, and dubbed the "Iron Forge Tower", this new tower will be the highest reaching building in all of the Jinsue Empire thus far; doubling both as an iron farm, and as a launch point for flyers who wants a good high spot to take off with their Elytra.

Come to Hegang in the Jinsue Empire to see this newest work in progress!

  4. The Iron Forge Tower is going up in Hegang; and its almost done!

Thanks so much to the work of our Construction and Engineering team, and the efforts of our Expeditionary Team, the Iron Forge Tower is almost complete! The image below shows how the building can be seen from the dynamic map on SMP1.
Located behind the Hegang arena, this over 100 block tall tower is the first building in the Jinsue Empire to reach near the sky's build limit! Taking off from this tower's top balcony with Elytra and rockets can provide an initial flight time that is much longer than at any lower elevation from other structures in Jinsue. Of course the first function of this building will be to provide iron for the Jinsue Empire. However plans for a retrofitted elevator to more speedily move residents to the top balcony are underway, as our engineers think of ways of building a 1-wide elevator in Minecraft that will fit this specific tower.

Come join us in the Jinsue Empire to see more!

  5. The Iron Forge Tower's construction is complete!

Now all we need are villagers to activate it. That leads us to our next build.... The Villager Nursery and the Villager Sorter.

The villager nursery is a very effective villager breeder, and has proven to work like a charm by our own KateEndergirl. Further assistance from myself - CheckDFX - gave it a villager buffering system, and a rail system that would send the villagers to the villager sorter.
The groundwork for this fairly sizable building has mostly been completed, and the first foundations have been laid in Jinsue City.

A system of rivers has also been connected to provide better transportation from the villager sorter, to other towns in Jinsue, by boat.

Come join us in building this new facility in Jinsue City in the Jinsue Empire, and help activate the Iron Forge Tower!
  6. In order to keep with the Asian theme, you might want to consider making this a pagoda. :p

  7. We had to keep a flat roof made of glass with carpets on top to allow for sunlight to come in through the top. In the tradition of Chinese and Japanese construction, practicality comes first, and then aesthetics.

  8. This past December 2017, the Jinsue Empire completed its "Customs Office and Border Crossing" building on SMP1, right by the border of the Eastern Frontier Wilderness Outpost. This building will allow travelers to easily spot the main entrance into the Jinsue Empire. This entrance, however, is secured, so entry must be gained with the help of a vetted Jinsuite.

Hegang has started a housing project, and housings are starting to come up more quickly than before.

This neighbourhood comes complete with a stable, as well as plans for market stalls where residents can pick up food and other everyday living essentials. Housing is free in the Jinsue Empire; we just ask that our fellow Jinsuites help keep the development and maintenance of the Jinsue Empire going.

    Come join us!
  9. A new system for border crossing and security has been introduced and finalized in the Jinsue Empire.

New immigrants to the Jinsue Empire must remain active and be vetted for 2 months prior to them receiving Official citizenship in the Jinsue Empire. During this 2 month period, new comers who stay and live in the Jinsue Empire are considered landed immigrants. To be given official citizenship in the Jinsue Empire, one must prove themselves to be dependable, dedicated and trustworthy to the Jinsue Empire and its Imperial Government. Long veteran players of Empire Minecraft, who are both of a mature nature, and in very good standing, may have this term shorted to 1 month or shorter, if the Emperor deems you would meet the requirements mentioned before, as well as be a great asset to the Jinsue Empire.

Each official citizen of the Jinsue Empire receives a Citizenship Key, which would provide access to most low to middle level security areas, such as the Imperial Central Warehouse, and other common facilities. Each citizen of the Jinsue Empire must keep their own key in their Ender chest at all times, and must not carry it on their person, except when in use at an Imperial Lock or Border. After using a key, it must be put back in one's Ender chest immediately. This way it cannot be lost or stolen. Ender chests are placed wherever key use is required. An example of a Citizenship Key is shown in the picture below with an official Jinsue Citizen.

  10. After a year of design and preparation in creative, the Imperial Central Warehouse has begun construction on Empire Minecraft's SMP1 in the Jinsue Empire!

This large warehouse spans 100x100 blocks at its base, and is part of a larger warehousing facility being constructed in the area - the Imperial Central Warehousing Center - which will consist of several buidlings purposed for secure mass storage at different security levels for different sets of items. This warehouse design is the first of its kind in the entire Minecraft community; the first ever Networked Auto-Sorting Warehouse. It can sort up to 299 different items, with additional manually sorted chests that serve as a way of future-proofing the warehouse towards items that will be added in future Minecraft updates. Excess items will be sent to Networked Automated High-Capacity Item Silos, which can return the excess items back when the warehouse runs out of them. For each item auto-sorted in the warehouse, 7290 stacks of each item can be stored in the item silos. That means 2,179,710 stacks of all items together. [466,560 is a lot for one kind of log in the silos alone.] Thus the issue of item overflow is solved for the warehouse in Jinsue City, and a surplus of items can be stored.

Currently, the warehouse's second floor is under construction. All Jinsuites are asked to please assist in constructing this ambitious endeavour. The finished warehouse will have all 5 floors of storage accessible to all Official Citizens of the Jinsue Empire.

Also, we want to know what is the biggest warehouse on Empire Minecraft in terms of structural size. If you know a warehouse that compares in size or is bigger, let us know!

  11. Despite the new Citizenship rules, immigration to the Jinsue Empire is still open to applicants who which to join. Just send me a direct message through the EMC website if you are interested.
  12. Well, it has been a while since our last post, but here is what is up in the Jinsue Empire.

Sometime in April or June of 2018, the Central Imperial Warehouse was completed. As mentioned in my previous post from March 2018, this warehouse design is the first of its kind in the entire Minecraft community; the first ever Networked Auto-Sorting Warehouse. The accompanying item slios had their design completed not too long after, and construction for them will commence in the coming weeks.

The warehouse is secured such that only citizens of the Jinsue Empire can access it.

The suburb of Ichiba (the first full neighbourhood in the city of Hegang) has been completed. It sports its own public stable and a market where free food is delivered for the neighbourhood's residents. Already, this neighbourhood has had all its houses claimed.

As such, a new inn has been constructed in Hegang to create more living space for both current and new residents.

More housing is planned for Hegang in additional new neighbourhoods. In the meantime, residents can seek a new home at the Inn.

The Jinsue Empire is always welcoming new members, as we are always in need of active builders. Come join us today!

  13. Things in Jinsue have been moving along slowly but surely this past summer, but during these next few weeks, we will be moving forward more agreesively. Design of the Jinsue Empire's Central Imperial Warehouse is being completed in creative mode, and final touches are being done to finalized the whole thing. The the four high-capacity networked auto-sorting item silos will be coming in next; each one being as extensive of a build as the Warehouse itself. Along with added landscaping and such, this looks to be a project that may keep us busy for a couple of months or so.

If you are interested in joining the Jinsue Empire, just contact me through the Empire Minecraft Discord server, or through mail here on EMC's website. (Discord messages are preferred.)

  14. Progress in the Jinsue Empire is going along nicely.

First of all, the Imperial Warehousing Center. This secured facility's construction is coming along slowly but surely. While the warehouse is complete and ready for usage, the item silos are going up around it. Once completed, these silos will be able to hold 5832 stacks of each item stored in the warehouse.

The Smart Rail Intersection - part of a railway system that allows minecarts to move from Point A to Point B or C - has finally gone from prototype, to completed production schematic for construction on Empire Minecraft.

Hegang is expanding with more houses. The road to Xueshan is being constituted. Kaijo-Ni is being connected to. It is all happening in the Jinsue Empire on Empire Minecraft's SMP1.

We are always looking for new immigrants who would be interested in helping out in any way that they can. Just like this post if you are interested in joining the Jinsue Empire, and I will get back to you on how you can join!

  16. First off... a big congratulations to DragoneerLaila and jaqque for becoming our newest "Minister of Logistics and Transportation" and "Minister of National Development"! These two Jinsuites have shown their ability and dedication, and have thus earned their place in the Jinsue Empire's Imperial Government.

A time of both relaxation and expeditionary action has come to the Jinsue Empire, as the Construction and Engineering team take a break to focus on the Imperial Railway and other smaller projects in urban development.

Construction of the Imperial Warehousing Centre's silos has slowed to a halt, as the newly refreshed wastelands means fresh new End Cities to raid. Due to the silos' high demand for shulker boxes, DragoneerLaila and the Jinsue Empire's Expeditionary team have taken to the skies throughout the End on various SMPs in Empire Minecraft. Our target is to gather 11700 shulker shells for the Jinsue Empire's Central Imperial Warehousing Centre! With the typical drop rate that most shulkers have to drop a shulker shell, this is no small feat... and we are in need of more citizens to join our Expeditionary team. If you are somebody who loves exploring, scouting, raiding, and fighting mobs both on your own and as a team, this is the opportunity for you to become part of something Big on one of the oldest, active large outposts, and one of the few true nations, on all of Empire Minecraft!

Become part of Minecraft History as we make this massive, first ever, Networked Auto-Sorting Warehousing Center a reality in Jinsue City on SMP1!

    Come Join The Jinsue Empire!
  17. Of course you need me! :p

This is great, I absolutely love this OP. Some day I hope to join it :D
Just a question, what texture pack were you using in the pictures in your first post? I'm curious
