At this point I was getting annoyed of all the people in the bar. I scurry out as fox form and I over hear two individuals talking about animals. I remember a face from the ally way, so I get closer before speaking. "You know, animals don't like to be held in chains" I grin showing my white canine teeth. "I prefer to be wild spirited."
Me and Rostro are spooked by the Voice, we look behind us and see a Fox, Rostro begins to inspect it.
They both let out a sharp noise of surprise, but the man quickly recomposes himself, "Oh, just a peasant" he looks at your mask for a moment, thinking about where he's seen it before.... The woman stares at you like you've just dropped out of the sky, little did she know that you actually had.... The man stepped forwards and scowled, "What do you want?"
"What an image!" I think to myself. I tear my gaze from the creature and look back at the person in front of me. "Well, I guess as a fellow animal tamer, we shouldn't have too much trouble getting along. And I hope Asgal is okay... He didn't want to leave a minute ago when I sent him up... He's still up there now watching over me."
The man still looks suspicious, but the woman steps towards and smiles at you, "Oh you poor soul" she says gently. The man shoots her an angry look, obvious not happy about the situation... The lady searches her purse for spare change, you can hear many coins rattle in the purse, but she is obviously choosing carefully
"Thanks." I turn away, but then decide to get that money she has. "Excuse me..." I say. "I can't help but notice how little you gave me..." When she turns to look, I pull out my knife. "Let's talk about that, shall we?"
(SCREECH// I THOUGHT I REPLIED TO THIS) The man froze for a moment, shocked by the sudden turn around. The woman screamed and shakily pointed at you, but she also froze. The man was first to react, jumping into the woman. Acting like the hero he thought he was.
"You think your feeble body is going to protect her?" I say, shoving him aside and grabbing the woman. "Give me everything you've got. Now."
The woman stayed, staring at you, still frozen with fear. She suddenly screamed and thrashed around, making a surprising amount of noise....
I throw the man to the ground, and grab the woman, putting my hand over her mouth, silencing her. I drag her towards the man, and pin him down. "You have one more chance. Where is the money?"
The man stares at you with cold, unforgiving eyes. He obviously doesn't want to give any of his precious gold away.... The woman screams into your hand and thrashes, obviously struggling with the situation. You glance behind you to see a small, rather fluffy, ginger cat. Just a pet, they're everywhere in the city, inside and outside of the large houses
"You have five seconds to shut up now, before..." I turn around and point my gun at the cat. "That cat dies. Make your choice." I begin counting down.
The cat sits and purrs, looking, well, uninterested. The countdown quickly reaches it's final numbers, you begin to think that you might actually have to kill the animal, before the woman finally comes to her senses and half throws, half hands her purse to you.
I grab the purse and run. When I find a place to hide, I take all the money and transform. I fly above the couple, following them.
(Eep, another case of me typing something then switching tabs and never sending it. Yay!) The man was the first to recover, standing up and expending his hand to help the woman. She looked as if she was about to cry, but she stood strong and followed the man towards her house. They walked a lot faster then before, obviously more alert after the event
