  1. SEU's founding fathers and national myth:
There exists a cult of personality around these individuals (Old Four):
Kark Marx: Hailed as father of Socialism and the greatest of the Old Four. Personality cult is largest.
The Founder: Hailed as the leader and servant of the people. Personality cult is second smallest.
Sun Yat-Sen: Hailed as the "great democratizer". While not actually that cooperative with Socialism, worked with Socialists anyway.
William Baker (made-up socialist, 2 parts AltPunisher, 1 part Obama and 1 part Hitler): Debatable if even a cult of personality, is revered as "Western Revolutionary".
There exists a proto-cult of personality around these individuals (New Four):
    Iosif Stalin
    Mao Zedong
    Kim Koo
    Oliver Brown (made-up, 1 part AltPunisher, 1 part 607, 3 parts Lenin)
    Founding Myth:
    Reality:
    1. Founder and SYS (Sun Yat-Sen) work together in a very tense and relationship full of infighting to defeat the Japanese.
    2. They link up with Lenin, have a lot of ideological disagreements and fights, but then work together anyway because they both agree that Marx was cool.
    3. They work with Australian Revolutionary William Baker to spread the revolution. There is significant internal disagreement, but it mostly stops after CNE's formation.
    4. Indonesia joins them out of pragmatism.
    Myth:
    1. Founder and SYS work together harmoniously after initial disagreements to defeat the Japanese.
    2. They link up with Lenin and sign a treaty to spread Socialism around the world. While this did happen, it doesn't quite link up with what really happened.
    3. They work with Australian Revolutionary William Baker to spread the revolution, and the Australian people enthusiastically adopt the ideology.
    4. Indonesia joins them out of admiration.
  2. As the Federation's Socialist movement falls apart on itself, SEU is giving its ships and crew extra training. Their fleet carriers are being reconstructed to give them greater strength as vessels, as well as to improve their compartmentalization. Damage Control is being studied, with one of the older Escort Carriers being used for this purpose. The data gathered will allow them to better train Damage Control crews. SEU is investing more and more into its military, as Stalin sees a war coming.
  3. SEU has proposed a joint military exercise with the United Baltic Republic, to better prepare them for war with any potential enemies. SEU is also building harbors with Gulag labor, which exclusively consists of violent criminals, corrupt officials, and other such vile scum, to build in the most harsh of conditions and to effectively project their vast Naval power.
A lot of people die. But frankly, there are so many people that the losses are negligible. SEU has the luxury of being able to blatantly sacrifice people without major issues.

  5. SEU is glad that the UBR accepted.
They will go ahead in the cold winter, to accurately simulate such conditions.
  6. SEU is creating large skyscrapers and skylines for their cities; this is not a move of the government, but private corporations. The SEU government themselves has contracted a builder to create a park with large statues of the "Old Four", now the "Founding Four". The theme is leaders and servants of the people. The statues are 15 meters tall.
This park is probably the biggest propaganda piece in existence, and is a massive Social project, located in Beijing, the signing location of the Unification Treaty. SEU is going through great pains to make it functional, and to allow them to enjoy nature in the rapidly industrializing nation and country. This is being accomplished with the significant budget surplus from these good times, as well as a campaign to pitch in. The Park will be charged, because of course it will be to pay for maintenance. It is nearly 2,500 acres large, three times that of New York's Central Park, and a status symbol for its power and great size.
SEU is trying to show that it is great, vast, and mighty, and better than these pesky Islam people and Southern traitors. SEU also has plans for much larger, more remote parks for the preservation of nature, now that a semi-Capitalist economy has emerged and there are customers.
  7. caliphate upgrades their new ships, this will take 1 year
  8. You don't upgrade new ships, you modernize old ones to make them relevant again and to extend their service life.
  9. k
  10. I'm tired of playing a game based on scrounging in wikipedia for hours, wasting my time finding the best ship or vehicle for the year were playing in, just to say that we are "good." Who cares though, the SEU is insane with its numbers, they could send millions of men into the caliphate and ruin the entire nation easily, because what matters to them? Stats, hell no, you don't need to google wikipedia stats when you could easily just say "our industrialization is huge, we'll just produce 10x the artillery as you, and so we win."

No wonder no one else plays this game, Yosh? Left at the beginning, Comander? Legit there's a country which has no leader. Fallout? Occasionally goes on, not that much, same with wafflecoffe. Alt? Comes on once per week, then leaves, never seen him make any ship stats. Infact, barely any of them make ship states except for belac, although belac doesn't use them because he rarely plays and never gets involved with war.

All I'm saying is that I'm tired of this "build a battleship, it may be good, but since your neighbour can produce 100x the ship, who cares." and the "you have to spend lots of time on wikipedia just to find something good, but who cares in the end, because you'll just have to make a new one later because that one gets outdated."

I'm also the most hated country in the game, USSR wants Turkey, Fascists want Iraq for some stupid reason, no one in this game likes muslims, and now apparently I'm easier to defeat than the fascists.

This game follows the same formula that must be changed up a bit, learn why others have stopped playing and why only you and I are the ones participating.

  11. I agree with about 60% of what you said.
You're right! I really do need to innovate!
I just have no idea how. I'm just not a creative kind of guy.
Frankly, SEU is about to get a lot weaker. Indonesia's 100% breaking off and forming its own Socialist faction, and SEU and Indonesia are going to have a major war over Australia, which India has not dared to touch. They're also going to constantly be at war with the other 2, which are also constantly at war with each other.
Let me make this clear; the USSR is falling apart. How can it not be, its own constituent states are at war with one another!
Sooner or later, it's going to explode.
Does the Caliphate's allies fight each other? Does Saudi Arabia and Iran declare war on each other for no reason? Because that's what SEU has to deal with; every single year.
Stalin will fail. Even if SEU wins WW2, Stalin will have failed. He will have failed to Unite the squabbling Socialists. Things are getting worse and worse.
Nothing short of World War 3 will bring them together, and that would mean the end of the World.
I'm relatively sure that they're gonna launch nukes at each other in a small scale eventually. Yeah, it's gonna get that bad.

  12. I'm making a timeline for the whole wars thing
1922-Present: India-SEU War due to differing ideologies.
1928-Present: Ukraine-Stan Nations War, Christianity vs Islam
1925-Present: Indonesia Independence Movement War, due to Indonesia's displeasure with SEU's anti-religion attitude.
1939-19??: India-SEU War becomes major, Indonesian Independence Movement War becomes major, SEU strained to limits trying to handle war on all fronts.
1939-19??: World War II, SEU becomes major player despite already having to deal with multiple other wars. SEU could be persuaded to just give up around that time, because they have enough on their plate.
BTW SEU will call the whole 1939-19?? period "Wars for defense of Socialism", and unofficially "The Wars on All Fronts".
In the "Wars for defense of Socialism" there are:
    World War II
    India-SEU War
    Indonesian Independence Movement War
West Asian Islamic Socialist Coalition-Ukraine War
Italicized text means that this war caused great loss of life or economic damage.
  13. A revolution is happening in the Sunayyad Caliphate, people have been questioning the disappearance of the Caliph ever since Sultan Abiwa got in, but his bluffs, the fake messages from the supposed "Caliph" who sent messages that he was alright (it was fake), and rumours of the Sultan's involvement with Ancient Black Magic have created an uprising in the Caliphate.

A few groups have emerged, the majority are, for the most part, non-violent revolutionaries, advocating for a government which wants the Islamic Republic, meaning the monarchy is dropped, or at least to a constitutional level, and a government is put in place. They are known as the Islamic Republicists, mostly made up of Persians, although it varies.

The next is a group that advocates for the removal of the Sultan (a king, mostly a sovereign Muslim ruler, not affiliated in Mohammed's lineage.) and the replacement for a Caliph, a Muslim religious figure/ruler, ruling the Caliphate, also a descendant of Mohammed, this would make the Sunayyad Empire no longer an Empire, but a Caliphate, making it the Sunayyad Caliphate, a religious state. (I know I jumbled it up a bit at the start of the game, but work with me here, when the sultan rules it's an empire, and when the Caliph rules its a Caliphate). They are apart of the Sunayyad Regimists.

There can't be a bunch of groups fighting each other without an extra violent one! The Majmue Jihadists, share similarities in their beliefs with the Sunayyad Regimists, believing in the power of a Caliph, although they are much more brutal, believing in making Muhammed's "vision" a reality, advocating for full Sharia Law, forced conversions, a massive spread of Islam throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and even South America, and a Jihadist movement, they basically believe that violence is the key to spreading the "will of Allah." They hate everyone who isn't Islamic, aka TBF, SEU, USSR, and the Fascists, they also believe in the Arab Muslims as being superior over the Non-Arab Muslims.

Under Sultan Abiwa fights the military, known as the, well, Sunayyad Armed Forces. They are basically the army, protecting the capital, the Sultan, and the entire region, whether they like it or not, they are somewhat loyal, most are very loyal to the Sultan, although most are there just because it's their job. They basically hold control in riots and protests, create city checkpoints and keep peace between the revolutionary groups.

Overall, those are the main ideologies, although there are smaller more complex groups between all of them, and although every single one has military ideologists, who yes, sabotage the Sultan and advocate for war, over all the majority are peaceful and approach it democratically. The Majmue Jihadists, however, they definitely push for a violent side. There are loyalists though, and there are neutrals, the groups above are just the general groups.

Of course, everyone's fighting against the Sultan except for loyalists, neutrals and the army, but who's fighting who:

Islamic Republicists: Mostly peaceful, they mostly reside in Persia and Turkey, starting protests and advocating for a democratic and peaceful matter of getting rid of the Sultan, although their violent side has created much tension with the Arabs across the gulf, no real fighting has broken out, although the peace which the Caliph had gained is diminishing.

Sunayyad Regimists: Probably the largest, they are made up of Arabs in the Arab peninsula, Egypt, Iraq, Syria and Jordan, their large Arab density has created tensions with the Persians, but they also believe the Majmue Jihadists have gone too far and replicate worse than the fascists.

Majmue Jihadists: They are fighting race wars with other Muslims, some brutal executions have surfaced, and some shoot outs have occurred, they believe that Non-Arab Muslims are inferior, and want to control them, but generally any non-muslim anywhere is hated, they hate the Socialists especially. They reside in the Arabian Peninsula, some in Somalia.

    Smaller groups:
Israeli Revolutionists: Want Israel as an independent state
Turkish Revolutionists: Want the Ottoman Empire to return, don't like Arab rulers
African Independents: Want Libya and Tunisia Independent from the Sunayyad Empire, also don't like the fascists gurgling up their oil, want the government to kick them out.

Although fighting has started against the Sultan via massive riots, shoot outs, illegal trade and vandalism, the revolutionary groups also fight amongst themselves, most haven't shot each other as of yet, but secret mob beatings and assassination of group leaders have gone on between the militaristic branches of each group.

The Sultan replies with brutal remarks, executing anyone in Baghdad who has an affiliation with any of these groups and clearing out any opposition by threatening to burn anyone's homes. After his little rampage, Baghdad, the capital of the Sunayyad Empire is only full of neutrals, loyalists and secret very tiny resistance groups. Everyone is angered about this, and news of the Sultan eradicating more people is breaking out.

  14. I don't plan on any future wars, basically just a revolution as of now, and then an Israel revolt after WW2, although Israel won't become a nation in this game, I don't want this game to be a copy of the real world.
  15. SEU Battleship Weaknesses:
For one, their optics are mediocre. They've gambled everything on Radar, and while this was in fact a very good gamble, if one could take out both of the Radars on a Battleship, then the ships' performance would be significantly lowered. SEU has the best Firing Computers in the World, but they are useless without Radar or general input.
Another is their general unseaworthiness. Due to the drastic innovations taken to save weight and make speed, this makes them bad sea boats and not very good to live in. They have earned the nickname "Submarines".
Lastly, and most importantly, despite all the AA onboard these ships, (a ton) they have no idea how to fight without air cover. They are used to having escort Carriers. The only response SEU Battleships have to their Escort Carriers being sunk is running away to the nearest friendly port. This is... inefficient. Taking out 1 of the 2 capital ships in a task force can take out the entire task force, in effect because it will turn tail and run.
To elaborate, SEU's capital ships have a religious devotion to 30+ knots, the speed to serve alongside Carriers. They go to truly extreme lengths to make this happen, which has rendered their Battleships Heavily Armored Battlecruisers in all but name.
SEU's Fast intercept Battleship is an eyesore, but it is ironically the best sea boat out of the three designs. It is actually pretty good at its job.
SEU's grunt worker is much better-looking, and it is fast for its size, but it is a terrible sea boat, the deck is very wet.
The pride of the SEU Navy is an unmaneuverable mess. It's too big, too unwieldy to fit at most ports. However, it is extremely large and that gives it unprecedented range, firepower, and endurance. Its sheer size serves as armor, because it is simply too big to easily sink.
All this size makes it extremely costly, and SEU is unwilling to deploy these ships to anywhere but the most important of Battles.
All in all, they're decent (not good) ships. They don't make the best use of their monstrous space, nor are they particularly efficient with their fuel. But they work fine and do their jobs.
  16. The Federation is going to back them after one point or another. Just to let you know.
  17. I know, but as I said, I don't want this to be a carbon copy of the real world
  18. Circumnavigating the World went well!
Both of the Yi Sun-Shin-Class ships are now in the 2 docks that can accommodate them to undergo reconstruction.
This reconstruction will improve efficiency with fuel, AA (AA gunnery crew is badly trained and incompetent, despite the very impressive equipment there), compartmentalization and general usage of space. This is expected to take at least 18 months, probably 2 years.
SEU has also taken an order for a class of 2 Battleships with an unprecedented Gun Caliber of 20 inches, and enormous size. The nation ordering these ships, which is as of yet unknown, is only using the Shipyard itself and paying SEU for its usage. SEU will use the funds to pay for the reconstruction of the ships. Most of the materiel and work involved will involve the Nation themselves, but SEU would be happy to sell them more stuff. In any case, SEU has more than enough Battleships and isn't going to build another 2 resource-guzzling monsters.
  19. UFOS is giving it's captains and crews a more exstensive training course to help them perform better adding the course will take 1 year
  20. specs for the unknown battleship
    91,131 tons displacement
    29 knots full speed
    8 20-inch (508mm) guns in 4 twin turrets
This thing... is the only design in the World that rivals the Yi Sun-Shin-Class. It has unprecedently powerful guns, 20-inch caliber, or 508mm, and with a 16 ton broadside, it is second only to the Yi Sun-Shin's superheavy broadsides of 18 tons. With a relatively fast speed, thick, all-or nothing armor and a large size, it could prove a formidable challenge for the title of most powerful Battleship against the Yi Sun-Shin.
However, this ship is not without drawbacks.
For one, its AA Battery is relatively light, its AP shells not the best that it could be due to the guns' massive size. For another, its sheer size will necessitate its building in a SEU shipyard, though SEU has allowed the [REDACTED] to send its own workers in there if they want. Lastly, it is immensely costly and will not be cheap.
