Dam! Dat's a lot of dams! Maine has a ton of unused opportunities for dams and hydroelectricity. So, anywhere there is an opportunity for putting up dams, and it doesn't negatively affect local residents, we'll put it up! Also, the solar panel industry is booming. 2,000,000 households have already signed up! This also means orders are held up due to not having enough workers. And so: The Coal Electricity Elimination Act, Pt. 1 Effective immediately, 33% of all persons working at a coal power plant will be either transferred to a job for renewables with the same wage or may choose a different job to move to. The aim is to decrease production of coal power and increase renewables. Power plants may choose what 33% they want to transfer to renewables. This act also creates the Dept. of Energy, Water and Public Services' Energy Division's Coal Elimination Taskforce (DEWPSEDCET or CET) to eliminate the usage of coal. We are eliminating them gradually because a large portion of our population relies on coal, and so we want to do it gradually.

To do their part, TUN has started to heavily invest in placing Nuclear power plants around the country. These power plants are much safer still than the last ones. One is being built in Montgomery Alabama, one in Seattle Washington, one in Delta British Columbia, one in Edmonton Alberta, and one in Fredericton New Brunswick. Hydro is also being heavily invested in, especially in Britsh Columbia where the company is spreading dams everywhere. TUN is looking towards the great work of Javor and has decided to invest in solar panelling homes as well. New York State, Quebec and Montreal are all focusing on projects to equip as many solar panels to each home as they can. Other WEO members are also starting to use cleaner alternatives to coal factories and have seen a mild improvement in the quality of life. The World Environmental Organization will hold a meeting once a response from the UKNS is given.

The HMKX Empire has unveiled their newest model of Aircraft Carrier and sent a unit off to South Africa to begin bombardment, along with a massive detachment of the 8th and 9th fleets to defend the Aircraft Carriers from any and all attack. The Yi Sun-Shin-Class Carrier, along with a Calamity II-Class Carrier is beginning intense bombardment of all Nuclear facilities in South Africa, justified under the rules of war as South Africa could create Nuclear Weaponry using them. Low-yield tactical Nuclear Missiles have been readied in order to destroy any Nuclear first strike attempt by South Africa. The long arm of the Imperial Army is also being readied in logistics as a massive invasion of South Africa. The Empire's Guinean allies are also acting to create a joint blockade off the coast of South Africa. The HMKX Empire is now dropping propaganda leaflets over, claiming to be the liberators of the majority races of Blacks, Asians and Indians. While these claims are mostly true, some of the leaflets' claims are slightly dubious. The Empire intends to create a prosperous ally in the region. The Invasion is not underway, yet. The Imperial Army plans to destroy the defenses in massive artillery barrages, and the strategy tends to work well for just about anybody, considering they are experts at destroying supply lines. And it is also very expensive, for good reason, which is why HMKX prefers not to actively wage war with its Army but instead its Air Force. (Overwhelming firepower tends to have that kind of effect). Seriously, when HMKX army gets involved the battlefield starts resembling another planet due to the amount of artillery they do.

UNAF: Wait for artillery and air support to soften up your targets, then rush in and strategically take them out UNRN: Bombard enemy positions from the coast, carry supplies, troops and equipment UNRAF: Send in so many planes that the enemy gets overwhelmed. Also, travel in fleets with strategic bombers being escorted by fighter aircraft.

HMKX is now selling all-new personal computers to the public. HMXK's extensive personal computer development is top-of-the-line (OOC: I'm the only player who bothered to put multiple posts into it) In addition, HMKX is displeased with UKNS's arrogance in assuming that they are stronger, when in fact one on one without international intervention, the UKNS would be destroyed in every type of war, from Nuclear, Diplomatic to Economic. HMXK wants UKNS to cut it out.
TUN is interested in the computers the Empire is putting out to the public. Thus, TUN is working on their own systems which would be given out for personal use. TUN already has military computers, and so the technology is not new to them.
