HMKX has heavily intensified naval activity in the Black Sea. Turkey has been pressured to step up their game in the Bosporus strait, and they have done so. HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin has been stationed in the Black Sea as a preventative measure, because HMKX isn't stupid. Last time Romania interfered, they were possibly the most annoying state in a war. Let's add that to the checklist of countries to just straight up occupy if a European invasion happens.
WAR PLANS: EUROPEAN COMMONWEALTH [CLEARANCE LEVEL 5] The European Commonwealth has emerged as a new power in the collapse of TUN and formation of SUNAFR. They are the only world power that could match the HMKX Empire's ability to mobilize soldiers. In addition, they all use a unified currency, the Euro and has a powerful military, with the FRNS Navy being just superior to the HMKX Navy in overall terms. In order to combat this threat, HMKX has devised a war plan. SECTION 1: EARLY ATTACK As the European Commonwealth will likely not bother invading the Empire's Eastern bulk due to the fact they either have to cross a frozen Arctic Sea that is already controlled by HMKX and die in droves or suffer the wrath of nature, march across the Russian wastelands and freeze to death while being harassed by Kazakhstani troops, or attempt an amphibious landing resulting in an utter bloodbath. So, they will likely attack the relatively disconnected Russia. While Russia has enough food and food production capabilities to hold out on its own for 2-3 years, sustained bombardment will likely destroy this capacity and force the Russians to rely on the Black Sea entrance. To this end, Turkey is to be defended regardless of whatever the cost of lives is. Human wave tactics are perfectly acceptable if it means feeding Russia's entire population. [CLASSIFIED LEVEL 6: CLEARANCE ACCEPTED] 10-12 million Dead is to be considered acceptable, with surrendering the canal is to be considered at around 20-25 million dead. [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ENDS HERE] In order to make sure that Russia will not run out of soldiers in the foreseeable future in the event of war, a rail line that will transport soldiers, supplies and information has been massively expanded. Counterattack is not to be considered, and Russia should instead make the war as painful for the EC as possible while seeming like the victim in an unjust war. SECTION 2: BATTLES AT SEA As the HMKX Navy rapidly undergoes expansion, with 11 Supercarriers in the Navy and 1 being built, as well as Heavy Cruisers and Submarines getting focus, the FRNS is expected to react. Russia must extend this war for as long as possible to make sure HMKX has long enough time to flex its full industrial might that outclasses the EC by a wide margin so that HMKX may outproduce the EC in all aspects, especially the Navy. FRNS is expected to outclass HMKX at first in Naval affairs, and HMKX will stick to land routes for the first 3 years of any war and defend their own coast. After 3-4, HMKX's Naval forces will be powerful enough to challenge the EC in blue water. This will allow HMKX to wreck the overextended EC Navy and then to dominate the Sea. UFOS is not included in the equation as they have proven unreliable in the past. SECTION 3: THE RESOURCE WAR As the war drags on, HMKX will need UFOS imports for the most important, and unfortunately most deficient resource, Food. This alone will be an extremely valuable contribution and will be more helpful than any amount of military aid. In order to make sure UFOS continues exporting food from their rich earth, [LEVEL 7 CLASSIFIED: CLEARANCE ACCEPTED] HMKX will provide them with powerful ABM Missiles that will be more than enough to block over 300 Missiles in a Nuclear Strike with ease. [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ENDS HERE]. The EC is weak in all other Areas of resources. EC has only two countries with oil fields and only 1 with significant Oil Reserves. The EC may try to invade Saudi Arabia and Iraq. This will be a bloodbath for them, as they will be forced to push through extremely well-armed states. In the event EC tries to import oil from Iran, Iran is to be blockaded. HMKX and UFOS also has more Iron than the EC, with Sweden being a major source and Norway producing aluminum well. In order to prevent this, FRNS's Nordic sections are to be made top priority targets. Norway and Sweden is to be invaded before Germany, as well as Romania, the only nation capable of effectively disrupting Black Sea trade. These three important nations are to be occupied while a peace treaty is devised; when a peace treaty is devised, HMKX is to let go of most holdings within these states. HMKX has a monopoly on rare Earth metals, this is to be exercised to our full advantage; embargoes of these very important minerals are a valid strategy. SECTION 4: NUCLEAR WAR In the unfavorable but possible event of Nuclear War, [CLASSIFIED LEVEL 6: CLEARANCE ACCEPTED] HMKX is very well prepared. The ABM systems around every major city [CLASSIFIED LEVEL 7: CLEARANCE ACCEPTED] could block up to 20 Nuclear Warheads without breaches, and up to 57 with a low probability of 1 breach. [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ENDS HERE] As FRNS has 16 nuclear warheads that could directly attack HMKX's mainland, this is not an issue for the East. In the West, FRNS has 32 warheads. This is worrying. In the event of war, the West's ABM systems are to be massively strengthened. The East's systems are also to be upgraded. If FRNS does decide to go down on the mutually suicidal path of Nuclear War, HMKX is to launch a massive counter-strike, with 1,000 Nuclear Weapons attacking with variable-yield technology to reduce civilian deaths targets with this priority, various targets listed from most to least important: Nuclear Weapon Silos. Nuclear Weapons Research Centers. Nuclear Power Plants. Miscellaneous Nuclear Facilities. Factories, Industrial facilities. Governmental buildings. Major civilian centers are not to be targeted. The only exception to this rule is in the event FRNS decides to utilize "Dirty Bombs" or otherwise aim to cause the end of the World. Note that we have never expected a new player to ever join us, so we are not constantly updating maps, etc. Let us begin. First, we start with basic alliances. Combines: HMKX Empire UNAFR UFOS FRNS Combine Alliances: HMKX - UFOS FRNS - UNAFR Pacts and Alliances: NPAT - Basically the UNAFR's hub of allies. EC - FRNS's hub of allies, basically most of Europe GAD - HMKX's hub of allies Map of Europe: Now, there's only a slight problem. UWE is combined with nations who have allies on both sides. This is complicated because France and Italy and the rest of your nations are all in separate alliances with GAD, NPAT and EC. This is sticky, because NPAT and EC are both generally allies, while GAD is generally an HMKX supporter, the main contender to UNAFR and FRNS. Italy - NPAT and EC member. This nation has Minutemen III Nuclear missiles, supplied from UNAFR. France - GAD and EC member Belgium/Netherlands - EC member. This is confusing because at this point you're going to kind of have to pick sides, most likely the European Commonwealth. Otherwise, it's like a crossfire, as during a war you'll be fighting your own allies.
Probable Results of Limited War (intentional limitation of destruction and quick end with relatively painless peace treaties)and Total War (intentional total destruction of each other): UNAFR-HMKX limited War: Has happened, some bloodshed on both sides and minor changes to power balance. HMKX-EC limited War: Technically happened, but it was too little. UFOS-EC limited War: Happened along with HMKX helping, ceding of Falklands Islands from FRNS to UFOS. UWE-HMKX limited War: HMKX curbstomps. UWE-UNAFR limited War: UNAFR defeats with little difficulty. UWE-EC limited War: EC defeats with moderate difficulty. UFOS-UWE limited War: Stalemate; UFOS does not have a base on the Mediterranean sea. Probable Result of Total War : HMKX-UNAFR Total War: End of the World in a giant Nuclear Fireball, SOG (a group aware of our, yes you and me existence and has magic powers that has latched onto HMKX Empire in a parasitic/symbiotic (debatable) relationship) takeover of what remains. HMKX-EC Total War: HMKX Solos with extreme difficulty. HMKX-EC+UNAFR Total War: End of the World, yadda yadda. UFOS-EC Total War: Weird Stalemate; UFOS has no bases in Europe. UFOS-UNAFR Total War: End of UFOS and probably world. UWE-HMKX Total War: HMKX Solos with moderate difficulty. UWE-HMKX+UFOS Total War: HMKX+UFOS defeats with low difficulty. UFOS+HMKX-EC Total War: HMKX+UFOS defeats with high difficulty. It should be of note GAD hasn't helped HMKX in a war ever.
HMKX has decided that this country threatens the balance of power. HMKX has offered to export the AK series of Rifle to them, as it is able to cheaply and effectively arm large numbers of soldiers. In addition, they are also offering export models of the E-4 (fourth generation fighter) as well as the TO-4, both rather effective tanks and jets despite being old, as they underwent modernization heavily and has served as an effective workhorse for years. However, they are quite wary of UWE's philosophy and has ordered Sejong the Great (124,000 ton displacement Supercarrier), associated Heavy Task Force, and HMKXS Kirov (31,000 ton displacement Superheavy Cruiser) to the Mediterranean Sea. Prototypes are being created for the E-5, and the E-4V2 is currently being used in small scales.
The UNAFR is warning the UWE to decline a trade with the HMKX Empire. The Empire never liked the powers in Europe and wants the European Commonwealth gone. You'll be another puppet. Take sides with the European Commonwealth, the UNAFR can supply you. Italy is a previous NPAT member and heavily supplied by the UNAFR. You already have UNAFR equipment, why not gain more? Italy has Nuclear Silos already supplied by the UNAFR. We will repeal it if you join the sides of power with the HMKX. Join the European Commonwealth and NPAT, you'll keep a steady supply of UNAFR equipment. Join the HMKX, and you'll be an enemy within a land of everyone against you.
The UWE has declined the offer of weaponry from HMKX. We will stay neutral for now and not join either side. The nuclear silos from UNAFR are enough for the small nation we are. We will up the size of our military because of the two opposing sides surrounding the nation. We hope to stay neutral and not make any enemies... Yet...
To avoid any complications and backstabbing in the future, the UNAFR has downsized their nuclear force in the UWE down by 60%. This is for precaution, the UWE could use these weapons of mass destruction in the future, something which worries UNAFR. Yet, due to Italy being a huge contender in the past for UNAFR, 40% of the Nuclear armament in Italy is still kept. This is small by the way, only 2 Minutemen III reside in Italy, amounting to 950 KT, yet there are still multiple Nuclear Silos, which can be used by the UWE if they build their own ICBMs
HMKX thinks "phew". They are once again forced to expand their ABM systems so they can fend off any UWE and FRNS attack at once, but they aren't too much of a threat. UFOS is tiring enough on their own, HMKX doesn't want to be allies with UWE, at best keeping up good relations. HMKX is barely keeping its faction in line (from fighting each other) with force, which is problematic at best. The problem with having a lot of strong allies is that these allies tend to fight each other when they are needed most. HMKX can prevent them from outright fighting each other, but they undermine structural integrity in the faction. HMKX awaits FRNS's response to UWE.
DRC, Libya, Guinea, and Madagascar, 4 of the 7 most powerful states in Africa all look at one another and think "Wait, why are we fighting? Our biggest colonial oppressors have formed into a giant superstate! We gotta do something!" (Namely, France* (Guinea and Madagascar *shielded from their wrath formerly by HMKX, but now France has fallen out of favor), Belgium (DRC) and Italy (Libya)) And so, just for a glorious moment, they unite. HMKX is so proud of them. FINALLY. THEY UNITED FOR SOMETHING! ANYTHING! Then they immediately fall into squabbling. HMKX thinks "Back to the routine…" But they all agree, secretly to a truce while they make sure UWE doesn't 1. Spread in Africa. 2. Whitewash colonial crimes. 3. Do anything that would threaten their interests too much. To achieve this, they have formed the "African Union", which claims to defend the interests of Africa. All nations are welcome, NPAT, HMKX allies, but no nations under colonial powers. This means FRNS colonies (Namibia) are not welcome. HMKX wasn't behind this in any way, but tension between the founding members is relatively open which probably means they formed this out of their own volition, as if HMKX was behind this all tension would be released through more subtle methods.
Kenya decides to join the African Union, as they find it great for Africa to unite. The rest of NPAT nations are questioning the union though, wondering if it would be a bad idea. Kenya is kind of like the test subject, their military isn't that large, and they would prefer help from their neighbours. Relationships in Africa: Nigeria is on steady terms with everyone outside of their alliance, except for the DRC. Nigeria hates their guts and secretly wishes they could destroy their entire nation. Kenya is timid, they avoid wars yet try to strengthen their own nations defences. NPAT was a way to get International help. Kenya acts more neutral, although they are scared of the NAE, mainly because they are such a massive force above them which doesn't fancy Kenya's allies. Cameroon is still yet trying to find their spot in the world. Poor Cameroon. Ivory Coast yet again doesn't care about what's going around them, they only care about making money. Algeria is very hotty, they express their beliefs that they are the strongest nation in Africa, proving this by challenging Libya. Algeria generally doesn't like any of their neighbours, only NPAT members. They hate Morocco and Libya, believing they can curb stomp them. Hopefully, their pride doesn't destruct them. Chad is basically Nigeria's country.
Ethiopia is dead as a major power. NAE collapsed after the NAE-Guinea war because they overextended. Guinea is quite intact and regaining quite a bit of their former power.
