Tankfest in six days! Goodwood in a week! Getting the camera ready, should be switching out one of my SD cards too
Good news! Audi Sport quattro 44 CFX is going to be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Rally Stage again this year! We'll see it on Sunday! Here's a throwback to it in force at Race Retro 2016
Is Owen Burgess Photography the right name for the photography page? I was told that lots of people make similar names. I was wondering what I'd change the name of it to if I were to change it. Thoughts?
Should I change the name of the watermark to Fendy Photography, and make everything associated with my photos like that e.g. Facebook page? I could get away from using my actual name and have a more professional name, but I'm not sure if Fendy Photography is professional enough? Please let me know your thoughts!
Hm... that's a tough one. I think using your real name is okay, as many photographers do that. I myself wouldn't be comfortable with that, but you obviously don't have a problem with it, as you've used it for a while. Fendy Photography is good too, though. For some of us it's a cute nickname, but if you don't have any associations with it yet it doesn't sound weird at all. It'd also be interesting to tell people where the name comes from I think I'd want to make the change, but it's up to you. If you do, though, do it soon. You'll only get more well-known as time goes on (probably), and if you change name it might make a slight dent as people can't find you anymore. So if you want to change your name, do it quick, before you are already renowned under the Owen Burgess label. I myself am in the same boat at the moment: I don't like my YouTube channel's name, supermariobrosdeluxe. It's hard to remember for people who don't know the game, it's hard to find as it gets corrected to super mario bros deluxe (without spaces) if you search for it, it isn't original, and it simply looks and sounds unprofessional. I haven't used the name elsewhere and I don't have too many followers anyway, so I definitely want to change. I'm not yet too sure to what, though, as 607 isn't allowed... Perhaps 607 YouTube? SixOhSeven? If you have any suggestions, be sure to let me know! Now I turned this post into asking feedback for me I provided you with feedback too, though. Anyway, dinner's ready, and I'm expected to be there, so this will be the end of my post!
You make a point which I was thinking of, which is to change the name before the Facebook page grows and grows out further! I just need to decide if Fendy Photography is the name I want to change to or not I do want to change it, and it's better to do it sooner rather than later, just got to decide what to I do like SixOhSeven, that's quite a good one! I'd say consider that one Thanks for the advice 607, much appreciated! If you have any further thoughts then let me know!
Quick question, what do you mean by,"switching out one of my SD cards soon?" Mainly by that I am asking how many SD cards you have
I have 3 SD cards in my bag - two SanDisk 30mb/ps 16GB class 10 cards that I used to use all the time with the Nikon D3200, but I now have a SanDisk 90mb/ps 16GB class 10 card that I will use in the camera now The one I swapped for the 90mb/ps one was the original SDHC 16GB class 10 card that came with the camera, but it doesn't say what mb/ps it was... I assume it was just 10, so that's why I've swapped that one out for the 90!
Attempting to make my new watermark fit better, so images have been delayed from yesterday, and I'm out at Goodwood taking more today! You'll all see them soon, hold tight... There's going to be a bit of a delay on my images as I've been concentrating on fixing the videos. Now that they're fixed, they'll be uploaded to YouTube, and then I can move on to editing that new watermark!
