This year is flying by and it's already August! Let's dive into what is happening around the Empire this month. Community Team Updates: Build Team The Build Team continues to work hard on the next event build. Most big parts of the build are done, but there is still a lot of work left to bring it all together and get it ready to release. It will be released in about 3 months, so keep an eye out as it gets closer! Contribution Team The Contribution Team updated Wiki pages for the Games Update, including the Games Server page and the Spleef page. The team also created pages for the 4th of July promos. Check out the Custom Empire Firework page and the Firework Voucher page! Do you want to help the Empire? Consider joining a Community Team! Click here for more information. Staff Updates: The 4th of July promos are no longer available through /promo, but make sure to use /promo bday11 to claim your 11th EMC birthday cake! The Firework Voucher will remain available to purchase at /shopworld for 25,000 rupees. The Senior Staff are looking for new moderators to join the staff team! If you think you would be a good fit for the position, apply here! Do you know somebody who would make a good staff member? Recommend them here! Don't forget to use /report to let staff members know about activity that breaks the rules! Developer Updates: The Games Update was released last month! We are working to fix bugs and make improvements to the new games, but we will start working to fix more games soon. If you haven't seen them yet, check them out by going through the Funland teleport at /games! Chickeneer notes: We are currently running ViaVersion to allow 1.19.1/1.19.2 connections. The actual release for 1.19.2 for EMC will be soonish, so prepare your mod setups when possible. Also Empires is still coming. It is the only EMC project chickeneer is working on. He had to rework a bunch of code due to some discovered exploits in the system which needed to be addressed before release. That rework is almost complete, so we are back to being close. Awesome news update.. just read about the birthday being moved.. I can make the party from 2-3pm but I can’t stay for an after party that day.. maybe give away some purple AncientTower heads.. ( like purple skin or something) 🤪
