AGA- The Opposition

If this group was meant to be a 100% serious, kill everyone who disagrees with us group, why would we have titles such as "snack guy" and "water temperature specialist?" The group is very real and will operate as stated in the original thread, but not everything was meant to be taken literally.

I am actually supporting the AGA.....

I do not believe they are harassing others. I believe they are simply teaming up against the players who use gapples because it is unfair to players who do not use gapples or potions. Just because someone is supposedly harassing other players does not give you a right to do the same. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Let's do things the simple and nice way:

1. Targeting specific people is bad. Let's not do it. Oh look, the list of names in your first post has magically disappeared!
2. Everyone is welcome to their opinions. Everyone. Including the AGA.
3. Making a thread like this is a really bad way to get people onto your side.

Targeting people is illegal. Je suis un statement. (as in harassment targeting)

Aga is just a pvp team that dont use gapples and they pvp. If they see someone with shiny gem(golden apple) is their target(like paparatzi to celebrities, like people you target youtuber bec ause they are famous, or like when you like italian food and you have a chinesse and a italian restaurant, you will target the one you like, or maybe if a robber is trying to steal he will go for the pricy rolex clock shop instead of a mc donald, targetting is the same! Humans do it all the time taking decissions, if they premade(or in some cases, another person chose for them) that decission, fine with me. I see no harrasment done here(this is my opinion, notice: others(including you(the reader) may have a different opinion about aga, please preserve mutual respect)

My opinion... Simply... If you want just a fair fight go to pvp fair... Else... Use anything you want in regular pvp. Being a retailer of Gapples I fully support their use. This is btw an economy server and their purchase and use make me money.

I know I am beating a dead horse here, but I would like to clarify my stance.

What do I support?
I support (support = have no problem with) a group that gets together and fights those who use gapples, be it a regularly scheduled event, or a "Hey, you up for some gapple-user PvPing right now?!"

What do I not support?
The situation where when a gapple user(s) enters the arenas, someone associated with an anti-gapple group hops through the servers and gathers all of the groups member to gang up on the gapple user(s).

The first situation is clearly like any other PvP group that has a specific purpose. No problems there. The second situation is one where the theme is clearly more hostile. The first situation is a group get-together/event. The second situation resembles a Minutemen like militia. In the first situation, the goal is fun. In the second situation, the goal is to drive players away.

If the AGA is a group like the in the first situation, and how they define themselves is just a way/rhetoric to get people fired up about PvP teams, that is fantastic. If the AGA resembles the second situation, that is not fantastic.

My stance in pvp and economy... Can't stand up yourself against a Gapple user... Buy your some yourself.

I buy tons of gapples, and make some myself. How much do you charge Breezy?

But seriously, why are we arguing about this? Gapples are unfair, yes, but they are part of the game, not a hack. So if someone wants to use a gapple, I'm cool. It's just annoying. The AGA is just a group that are against gapple users, but they don't hate the users, they hate the gapples.

We aren't arguing anymore, we agreed to disagree.

Price changes based on what I can buy DCs of Gold for. I'm currently out of stock but have bids in on two gold auctions on the auction forums. Last sell was 950r per.

Well, I've been Hiding under my flame shield since this whole mess began, and I think its time to say a thing. I don't want this to turn into a War, dividing the community, and possibly even friends, over an Item, a bunch of Code, ones and zeros. I think both groups have both good and bad. The AGA can help people, if there is a person just spamming Gapples, ruining the fun for everyone but them, then it can be good, but if you get driven out of PvP just because you used a Gapple or Two, then That's just wrong. If you just wanted to use one to spice things up, you shouldn't be getting ganged up on.

Harassment isn't allowed on EMC, and Staff have already said the AGA is fine. The AGA is harassing nobody.

It is an attempt to oppress though, no doubt about it. You are trying to basically get rid of gapples in pvp. They are allowed. So you are trying to oppress those who use gapples. I will not join either side of this. My view is that none of this should have happened. /end rant

I personally don't think that gapples should be banned from the arenas, but it's a pain to PvP with someone who uses them. Many of us realize it is very difficult to take down people who choose to use them, and we decided to change our play-style to a Team. We are stronger as a team, and people who use gapples are now in a position that they can be taken down. I can see we are getting a lot of hate for this, but this was not meant to harass others. Where it my post did I say harass? I said oppress. Very different things.
