More so than people following a single religion, I am heartbroken that these kids don't believe that the world is good, and are so self absorbed. They were cracking jokes about donations we give to the poor, as well as complaining about how they would rather be playing video games. There is nothing wrong with not following a religion, but there is something sad about seeing a little kid lose hope.

True^ its sad and difficult to see people become hardened, bitter and sarcastic in general

Also kudos for taking the time to volunteer in your community even though youre really busy with all your other stuff!

I am doing alright! Today is my last training day before a short break, and I am planning to finally ask someone out (regards to previous status). I am just trying to adjust to chemistry, which is a really hard subject.

I am doing alright! How about you? I am just adjusting to school.

Currently quite bad, as I'm ill. But in general I'm doing well. I made two very big decisions last week, one regarding homework and one regarding me biking three times a week. The biking should give me some more energy, as I didn't really sport aside of PE.

I am sorry to hear. I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. Biking is great for you, and gets you a workout similar to running with less stress on your joints :)

Olaf was my least favorite character in the movie. Despite all the hype all of the trailers gave him, he actually had no real role in the movie other than to crack the occasional, usually not funny (in my opinion, of course) joke. Whether or not he had been in the movie, it would've ended the same way. :P

While that may be true Hash, I still liked Olaf. Maybe cause I like hugs. For me hugs are like sharing a piece of yourself whether it be warm and sunshiny or blue and overcast.. it's the sharing that part of yourself with the people you care about and who care about you in return that matters to me. <3

Sorry to hear that. :l I'm glad that you're just going to move on rather than dwelling on it, though.

I am still sort of dwelling. It really stinks. I actually invited her to something business related. Not asking her out or anything like that, just asking for help with a focus group. I gave up then after she ignored that. I don't know what I did wrong, but it stinks, man.

I don't think that any of those things are indicative of Americans, just fox news and their viewers. I'm sure the number of ACTUAL viewers is not even a fraction of what is led on. Xenophobia? Misogony? Bigotry? I think the only place this exists with any kind of fervor in the US is in the minds of Kanye West and Gender Studies majors.
