I am hashhog3000, and yes, in case this little speech didn't tip you off, I am running for supreme overlord president of Empire Minecraft. I bring to you a few key points that will be focused on if I were to be elected: Pleasure, Innovation, and Equality (I'll be referring to this, as well as my general campaign, as PIE).First of all, let's focus on Pleasure. Pleasure makes up the delicious filling of the pie; it is the main thing that you should taste and enjoy and makes up most of the PIE. On a gaming server, pleasure should be your top priority, that delicious blend that fills your mouth. I hope to institute several new entertaining ideas and arenas for people to enjoy. I also hope to reinvigorate the SSSS, an event group (founded by mman2832, cadenman2002, and myself) that kind of went inactive. With these additions, no doubt our pleasure quotient will increase quite a bit!Now for Innovation, that flaky crust that ties the pie together, keeps it stable, and generally improves it. I promise you that I will implement a Suggestion Box, because every good server needs one! Well, we're a good server, so we already have one, but which is more satisfying? Typing a note in a forum and pressing Enter, or dropping a written book into an awesome ingame box, getting a cool little "Thanks for your suggestion!" book, and THEN typing a final draft into the forum and pressing Enter? Yeah, that's what I thought. Plus, I'm willing to gather some people to help critique and improve posts and suggestions before they're posted in order to maximize the effectiveness of said post. With more eyes, more errors can be spotted and more ideas improved.Last but not least, Equality, the pie tin that supports everything. Without equality, we would tumble into chaos. And so, as a primary function of my campaign, I am re-instituting the campaign for Pears' Rights, because they deserve so much better. And, last but not least, I'll be changing my title from President to Grand Pie Chef, because just as a baker might shape a pie, I intend to use this role to shape the server. Sure, we can't make official changes, but why not do what we can? A silly little campaign like this is all it might take to spark an idea, a light, that then spreads rapidly from person to person until the whole forest is aflame. I have a dream for this server, a dream in which players are able to forget the bad and focus on all that is good, a dream in which members talk to each other, discussing real life problems and joys, a dream in which we are as good, no, better, than even the most delicious of pies. OK, maybe I'm looking at this thread way too late and someone has already mentioned it, but I don't feel like reading 8 pages of responses to find out. Isn't this an Empire? Shouldn't we be holding wars to determine who will be the Emperor? Democracy is for peacemongers. Just saying.

Campaigncadenman2002, of the 8th server. To begin, this is about you, people of EMC. Not about me. I won't make decisions about our server. You will. I listen to you! Together, we are the government! I will not make any decision without consulting you first! All of you who are voting today are voting for yourself. I am but a representative with a good heart and a good mind. My first order as the president of EMC shall be to revive events! Once my term begins, I shall revive events in the Empire, therefore leading to more events, more community interaction (much needed) and more fun. We will run on a crowd funding system, which means that the more the people donate, the larger the prizes and therefore the more competitive the event will get. It's something along the lines of a "We need you" system. We can't run ourselves, and neither can you, so let's help you help us. Secondly, I will bring pizzarolls to all. Now, this might sound weird at first, however you will soon understand it. Pizzarolls does but one thing - they make people very happy. As a matter of fact, I eat pizzarolls all the time, and afterwards, I feel happier than ever. Therefore, pizzarolls = happy. I will do whatever it takes to make people feel like they're eating pizzarolls. I want you to be happy. That is my sole purpose here.
