I love Stardew Valley. Sadly my very first playthrough is slightly bugged. Am unable to participate in any activities that involve fishing or the slingshot so far in the Festival during Fall and the Ice Festival in Winter. The Ice Festival one sucked since I had to stand there doing nothing for 2 minutes. Unable to even participate in the fun ;-; And I definitely don't want to start over and lose all my progress and hard work. So I must suffer it.
I've participated in a multiplayer game but have yet to host one. It's mostly the same as singleplayer (albeit with multiple people instead of just one), except that more than one person doing the community center and the museum bugs some things out and that the things that normally stop time don't. I would strongly encourage you to try multiplayer, it's a ton of fun
I have! there are a few bugs when it comes to finding the townspeople's items like Linus's basket or the Mayor's purple shorts. The items somehow got doubled and we are unable to throw them away, so they just take up room in a chest
Just started a new co-op farm with [same aforementioned player who does not wish to be named]. This is what 5 days of progress on a forest farm looks like.
I started playing Stardew last month. It's my first time playing through the game. Right now I'm on Spring 1, Year 2, so there's not much to my farm yet xD. My most favorite event in the game so far has to be the moonlight jellies.
My friend has told me to check this game out for the longest time since he knows I adore Terraria~ The game looks awesome, I'm quite interested! It's on my To-do list of things to do in the future!
I will have to recommend it to you too! It's a brilliant adventure and with the variety there's something for everyone. For the most part it's balanced well, while some things could use a little tweaking, I wouldn't say any of them negate the overall experience.
I still haven't played Stardew Valley! I do think I'd buy Stardew Valley before buying another Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons game. I am curious about what it's like, and I've heard people say it's better than the best game in the original series (Friends of Mineral Town), which I've already played.
I recommend the game to anyone who hasn't try it yet. I've been playing some more and I'm now on Spring, Year 3. I added more barns, a coop, stable, and upgraded house to my farm. I also finished the Community Center and got married to Elliott.
Huh, Stardew Valley for Switch is apparently €14 on the eStore but €40 as a cartridge. That's a huge difference. Was it a limited edition or something? I guess I'd probably get enough hours out of it to make €40 worth it...
Huh, I just found something weird. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394390037869 Someone selling hacked saves for the game on Switch, for $22. I wouldn't think eBay would allow that. It certainly seems to be against Nintendo's idea of how save data should be dealt with.
Five and a half years later, I'm still playing Stardew! My gf and I have a co-op world that we usually play on a few times a week, whenever time allows. She hasn't played before so there have been a few growing pains, but it's been a fun time for us.
I still play stardew with my daughter & I have one(4 corners, cause I like the layout) that I play by myself when I need to not think and just destress. It's a fun little game with or without other players.
