Last Labor Day we all received a pleasant surprise with the introduction of multiple new Labor Day, benches and crafting tables. A Really important item I thought that would have been included was a labor ender chest. No longer would they be placed all over the world. labor ender chest would solve all the problems, and be a great addition to the server. Point to make my ping 1. The server already stores 10 inv of enderchest per player (one per server) so it dosnt require to much on preformence. 2. Ender chest are obsidian which means they take a while to break sometime like when you die and respawn with nothing. 3.They require very little to craft so having a labor version would not be too much of a cheat 4. There would be less of a need to place ender chest all over the world thus making it look better. 5. It’s better then any chest or shulker version that would have a different inv per item. 6. It fits the theme of our current labor items I also have a name suggestion “PE Chest” portable ender chest
A labor day E-Chest would not be placeable so the demand for E-chests would still be there. I know so many builds that are handy to have those laying around everywhere lol YES! +1 Please make this happen! Would soulbound be too OP?
+1 I've changed my stance on this. As OP as it may sound, (which is probably why the labor bench was never reintroduced in later years), this would be super helpful! Especially when I'm living out in the wilderness far from spawn!
Interesting idea, wouldn't be to useful for me but I could see a lot of people liking it, however id say this should probably be from something other than labor day as to be something you could works towards obtaining rather than just typing a command (its convenient but not a very engaging activity) Could be something like a boss drop exclusive to high difficulties or an event/contest prize Don't really have a specific occasion or boss in mind right this moment, maybe someone else in this thread will though
That’s not a bad idea but I don’t think we should make it harder to get. Maybe a token purchase item? That will make it so you have to play the game to get one.
I like this concept of it being a contest reward of some sort or we can add it into the voting bonus. Just a little thought +1
I like it if it was a rare mob drop or somthing like level 5+ but locking it behind a high vote bonus would be wrong for one of the reason I proposed this idea was because echest look ugly scattered around the world.
+1 from me, it'd be one less step from having to remove the enderchest everytime with a silk pickaxe. this would omit that step, we'd still need to carry it with us obviously.
I don't think it should be a boss drop as there are quite a few people that never want to fight those and would have to resort to buying these from someone else. Making them a promo I definitely like as it would stick with the "Labor Day" theme from the other blocks that have been made.
