Dang! Congratz on 10 Years! I've got 2 questions (if that's okay) How did you discover EMC back in 2011 and What was it like in 2011!

What are some of the greatest moments you've had in EMC over that time? Limit to top 3 that you recall now, if you go over fine. Doesn't mean others aren't important but I am not asking for a book, which 10 years could provide Congrats on 10years!! Big MILESTONE!
I mentioned this in my 5 year AMA. The main server I was previously on reset their world and changed the meta. I wasn't fond of the change so I searched for a new server. I found it on one of those Minecraft Server listing websites and came here. As for what EMC was like in 2011, here's a list of things I can remember, in no particular order. Had a really bad and not very educational tutorial. There were only two servers, main (now known as smp1) and game. The minigame server was shut down and replaced with smp2. There was a res shortage sometime after I claimed my res. That's when they created smp2, and the other smps to follow. There was such a thing as "half a rupee". The website used to have a header image of a bunch of empty residences at dawn/dusk/night (don't remember) with the grid roads that remain to this day. In the main, there was Town, there was Wastelands (similar to frontier, but not the same world), Wilderness (same, but no livemap), and Utopia for supporters (as a world, not a separate server). They would reset these worlds (apart from Town) on a regular basis. I'm not sure. I guess the Last Light Outpost? The Turkey Slicer and the Holiday Pick Joining the LLO, and the ensuing adventures since joining back in 2013. Creating a business with NevePlaysDota, Usui Marketplace from 2011 to 2013. Coming 2nd place in some residence garden contest back in 2012. The build standards were a lot lower back then compared to now.
10 years! Wonderful, An Empire Elder! Minecraft was a totally different game 10 years ago. What is your favorite or most memorable Mojang addition to the game? And why.
Sorry for the delay. Anything belt-shaped I guess. 1.7. Made gardens more interesting with the new flower types. Also messed up pre-1.7 taiga so that places like Chicken Shores no longer snow. Anything lemon-y is good really. It'd be too hard to list even three candies of that kind to choose out of the dozens. That's a difficult one. It'd definitely be one of the LLO regulars though. That's for sure. IcecreamCow. No contest. Not much. Vidya, film, that sorta thing.
