Explore Hollow Pines Manor! For a MINIMUM of one week, enjoy the amazing creation of our Build Team: the Hollow Pines Manor by typing /halloween or /htown while on the GAMES SERVER. At the event residence, you will also find parkour, a crypt maze, and other haunts for your pleasure. The parkour is very basic and is meant for all ages and skills to enjoy. For the crypt maze, you'll need a minimum of 2 people to navigate your way through the perilous depths of the manor, but if you make it, you'll be rewarded with a unique item:Note: In order to prevent item from being obliterated by the Manor's forcefield (inventory controls), it will be sent manually via mail to all players who complete the crypt maze. This will happen manually, so don't expect it immediately. Items will be sent after the Manor is closed. Trick-or-Treating: Empire Minecraft StyleThere are multiple ways to participate in the Trick-or-Treat festivities this Halloween week on EMC. Throughout Hollow Pines Manor, there will be mobs spawning. Don't worry, they can't hurt you. However, they have all been gorging on Haunted Candy over the entire month of October and will likely drop some, if killed. Have a spare Haunted Head or Headless Horseman Helmet lying around from years ago? These old promos dispense the SAME candies as the mobs, so you will be able to use those for the next part if you don't feel like slaughtering the inhabitants of the Manor. Want to collect the candy without going to the event residence? The developers have added candy drops to some of your favorite mobs all throughout the wild, including a BRAND NEW Haunted Candy type. There's an awesome new way to share candy with other players and we've even made a game of it! Each UNIQUE player that you TOSS a Haunted Candy to INSIDE Hollow Pines Manor Location will earn you one point in our Trick-or-Treat Game, as well as give you one candy back in return. Can't remember if you already gave candy to someone? If you've already tossed candy to that player, they won't be able to pick it up. If someone tosses a candy at you, you CAN toss a candy at them. The toss score limitations are set by the throwing player.Warning: You must be online in order to receive credit for your candy toss. You cannot just throw a bunch and leave them there with you not on the event residence and receive credit There are automatic prizes after you receive a certain number of points in the Trick-or-Treat Game, such as the Haunted Head and others so don't miss out on the candy throwing fun. You can even type /hscore to see where you stand in the rankings across the entire server! Top scores will gain an extra bonus at the end of the event. Mob Disguise during HalloweenThis week, you have been granted the /disguise command in town areas. You have a wide selection of monsters and animals to disguise yourself as while sharing candy with other EMC players. You will not be able to use mob disguises in any competitive areas of the server. Here are some commands you may find helpful! /disguise [mob_name] - shortcut /d; leave blank to be sent a list of all mobs available to you./undisguise - shortcut /und; to wear your normal skin./viewselfdisguise - shortcut /viewselfd; to hide the mob you are disguising as from yourself. Final tip is that there are some special options you can set. Use /disguisehelp [mob_name] to learn more. Ex: "/d sheep setColor red" Return of the PlagueYou don't have to go to the Manor to enjoy the spirit of Halloween. The zombie plague from years past has resurfaced for a haunting good time. Track the top infectious players with /infections and avoid them "like the plague". Try to see how many players you can infect, or see how long you can remain unaffected. Either strategy you choose, the Plague will spread like wildfire so good luck! New Feature: Player Setting GUIAs we work to make the player experience more enjoyable and user-friendly, our amazing developers have created a solution to the crazy hectic nature of the player settings. Introducing the Player Settings GUI! Control all of your players settings with intuitive icons and menus. It's a change that's certain to make any future player settings all that more enjoyable (hint, hint). You may access the new player settings interface using the same /ps command that you have always used before. All of the settings are contained in this interface under different menus. We encourage you to try this out, but if you want the old style, we kept the chat version available as a player setting in the misc section. But WAIT....There's More!Don't forget to cheer on all of our pumpkin carvers who have less than a week remaining until the end of the competition and tune in to EMC on Halloween (October 31st) for the release of a special item promo.
OMLL FIRST Edit: Also, thanks to ALL the Great Devs for making this HaUnTeD hOuSe possible, and I love you all!!
Hope everyone enjoys the event as much as I did making it with the help of the Build Team and select few staff members! There is many secrets to find! Edit: Special Thanks to: Jelle68, Khixan, Luneyia, HashHog, JDHallows, and Eviltoade for helping make this possible! (Also NickkG's Piano on the left in the second floor! Thanks Nick! ) Second Edit: Thank you to the Developers that have worked on the code side as well! ( I don't know who specifically was tasked but thank you! >.< )
A GUI for player settings? No way, that sounds awesome! I'm quite curious how certain aspects have been refitted to work within the item-based menus.
Lot's and lots of heads. Elite spent tons of time making heads, changing his alts head, constantly lol.
It's very sweet how you will keep supporting the tellraw based player settings! It does seem like a bit of a waste of time, overall, but it's amazing service.
Really fun stuff. Always love the trick or treating candy exchange but also fun you added the zombie plague for something new. Thanks.
