FCC: the Frontier Clean-up Crew!

So I just won a DC of dirt and would like to donate it when I pick it up. To where should I drop it off to for donation towards this frontier effort?

I have been busy myself aswell, as I noticed on another thread... This is basic correcting though, nothing with fancy landscaping or planting trees like you guys do... annyways, if you wish to have my help, I can do some things
(fun-fact about the screenshot, there is a creeper right under the piller I'm standing at whilst making this screenshot, that blowed me off (and killed me) less than a second after I made this screenshot...)

I don't know why, but I also built a little house at all the hand-terraformed landscaping I placed everything you'll need for a fast break on the inside (a few single chests to sort out your inventory, a crafting table, some furnaces and a horse stable) I don't know why you'd need that that close to the spawn, but I just wanted to build something... (come to smp1's frontier center and go to the south if you want to see it yourself.

Yes, I dare bump a 1 year old thread. Maybe now it's time. Because reasons.

Even so... maybe now the FCC should rise from the ashes like a true Phoenix and start all over.

Staff is going to clean up the Frontier, and I believe that we, the community, can help. To put this in true Blues Brother style fashion (one of my favorite movies): "We're getting the band back together". And I will even go on the record (for those who know our history): maybe we did rely a bit too much on staff. Maybe we should have went with "who cares, let's DO stuff".

I'd like to try and give this a second go. I'm also going to try and get GRIP behind this. But... and this is the cool part: that decision is now no longer mine alone to make. We'll discuss. (you cannot imagine how it feels if something grows into something bigger than you unless you experience it. I personally love this. I have ideas.. I think good ideas.. but it's no longer my decision alone to make, and that's only fair).

Anyone still interested to help repair the Frontier?

Warning: there's going to be bias involved. I expect members to basically do this for free (though.. you never know what might happen). But motivation should be aimed at helping, not so much personal profit.

And that brings me to my second issue: I am also toying with the idea to try and combine our work with providing jobs for new players (new = 'shown on /newplayers'). We get work done, newer players get 1) distractions / work to do 2) paid. And it might spark their interest in our community.

I think we can make this work. I will soon start a new thread (not right tomorrow but into next week) and we're going to discuss our options.

But I honestly believe that since staff has put their mind into cleaning up the frontier we can help out big time. BUT... With less reliance on staff unless we're cleared. The EMC community got this covered.

No: you will not be able to blame me when stuff goes sour, but I promise that I will give it my everything to make sure it doesn't happen.

I have a ton of dirt from previous projects. I would love to help if possible!

I have supplied many DCs of dirt in the past for cleanup/repairs on SMP6. Let me know if you need dirt or various common blocks and saplings of all kinds. Time permitting, may be available to assist the FCC. Add me to your new thread when you initiate it. The Sus

I also have silk touched grass and a silk touch shovel i could use as an overcoat of the hole
