  1. I went to the grocery this morning to pick up some produce and healing things for my roommate who has that annoying fall sickness that I don't want. I need him to get better because I don't do being sick. Anyways, on my way out the nice gentleman that has worked there forever and pointed out the first time I met him that there was no meat, assuming I was veg... gah... focus gawa... he said, "Don't forget to vote." In which I obviously  replied, "Oh I will be voting 'no confidence' from my couch rather than sticking my business with any of the make up covered clown puppets that THINK they want the terrible job that no sane person would want."

Do I get a sticker? Definitely one of my life goals as a child, collecting stickers :D
  2. The sticker will go to my son. He will wear it proudly to school tomorrow.

  4. Stood in line for 1.5 hours this morning to vote. It's the longest line and wait I have ever experienced at any polling location I have used.
  5. The last time I voted, four years ago(not for the presidential election but for the republican primaries for a state senator), I went to the place with signs in my car windows for the candidate I was voting for. Sure other people would be there that didn't want that candidate but I didn't feel like it was that big of a deal. In todays US of Zombies I would be scared as shit to put a hillary or a trump sign up in my car if i went to vote. Would be scared I would come back to slashed tires or a ball of flames and a bunch of idiots ready to jump me because I didn't pick their preferred clown.

  7. So from that we can deduce that hoops doesn't live in new england or california and you? lol. I joke I joke. We all know that Californians can't vote. How long ago was that regulated away? I need to go do something productive...
  8. I live in the tall corn state of Iowa. One of the many must win states for Trump. I would guess he will win it as he has been polling well here. Iowa tends to be a swing state and went with Obama the last two elections. Not entirely sure why we would go with Trump as the economy here has been great. People tend to vote based on their pocketbooks. That is another odd phenomenon with this election. Overall, the economy is strong. Unemployment low, stock market hitting record highs. Now I know that the needs of the international economy have and will continue to force us to adapt our citizenry so that we can be competitive. We no longer have a lot of highly paid, uneducated, union jobs but that has been gone for awhile and nothing can get it back.

  9. North Carolina. For what it's worth, I have heard reports of very heavy turnout here today from multiple sources at work.

I might also add that the line was even longer than what I waited through when I was leaving the polling station.
  10. I was in and out in 5 minutes also. Local fire station in Texas. :D
  11. North Carolina is also a hugely important state to both candidates. Most polling shows it in Hillary's bank but it is very close.

  12. I worked at a voting station before. I just want to remind people to be nice to others, form a straight line and you will gain entry to Canada once processed :)
  13. Voting in Texas is kinda like voting in California, a foregone conclusion. We talk about the evolution of the republican party in the US. How about the evolution of the democratic party. Texas hasn't went with a democratic president since 1976 and prior to that nearly always went democratic. This is a similar trend across the southern US. Neither party is the party they were in the past. The republican party is no more the party of Lincoln as the democratic party is any longer the party of George Wallace.

  15. Alright, this is it guys, just pray that the right candidate wins. Now, I didn't say your candidate I said the right candidate, because at this point it's anyone's guess who that is. Pray that at the end of tonight we will have elected the leader that is best suited to lead the great United States of America.
