  4. If you get banned from something multiple times it can be a crime to keep hacking in after an IP ban, because it's a paid 24/7 server.

  5. Changing your IP is not hacking. Just like DDOS-ing, it's not hacking. Just like using unfair Minecraft mods, it's not hacking.

  6. But using a VPN or proxy isn't really considered "hacking." All maze did was use a different internet connection or a vpn. Mine craft has nothing to do with the law until someone does something to break it, and he never did.

  8. I know that this thread is on the old side at this point and this has died down... I'd just like to throw it out there that being banned isn't the end. Lots and lots of the people who have been around here for multiple years have changed substantially over time since they joined, and plenty of us have been banned and unbanned (including myself :p). If you truly want to stay on the server then sincerely apologize (it looks like you've done that already) and make an appeal that says why you think you should be unbanned. If that doesn't work, try again in a few months, rinse and repeat. I was perm banned for using some very illegal mods in August of 2012. I appealed about fourth-five seconds after being banned, and got denied. I re-appealed in three months and finally got back onto the server in what I believe was somewhere around March of 2013.

    Best of luck appealing if you wish to do so.

  10. Sorry, I'm jumping in late too. But, as one who has been griefed repeatedly - I trust that everyone who plays here knows that griefing is against the rules, and if it is done repeatedly then that person should just go play on some Mafia server where it's the accepted behavior. No forgiveness. No excuses. No second - third or SIX (or however many it was) chances to turn yourself around. You are ruining the game for people who are adhering to the rules.

  13. Hey buddy. We all make mistakes. At least this isn't real life, and it's just a video game. "It's just a video game."-So, if somebody griefs, or kills someone, get banned, really? It's just a video game rebuild, and fix it. We all make mistakes, and then apologize.

    C'mon EMC, I love you guys, but really? It's just a video game.

    As many as he wants Roslyn. You're not the boss of him he can do what he wants.

  14. It's one thing to make a mistake and apologize. It's another thing to rinse/repeat and do it 8 times over.

    I forgave him the first few times. He's had plenty of chances and he blew them all.

  15. Sometimes apologizing doesn't help. Yeah, you can always rebuild, but griefing can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (or more, depending on severity) to repair. The players rebuilding don't even get a reimbursement on items that were lost.

    I get that 171 wants to return to EMC, but this isn't how you should really do it. Try appealing instead of wasting your money on more accounts.
    Well, you're not entirely wrong. Roslyn isn't the boss of 135, but as stated in the Terms of Service and Rules, he's not really "allowed" to create a new account in attempt to join EMC again after being banned without the written permission of Starlis. Besides, it's not worth losing your money if you're just going to get banned again
